The Colts just hired a HC who has had success developing QBs...which they needed to do anyways. But the Colts current QB hasn't been able to throw without pain for more than a year. I am not at the point where I can say that pick won't be a QB.

Quoted for truth! So many people here want to ignore the big elephant in the room and pretend everything will be just fine. I hope it all works out, but this thread is nothing but noise until we find out Luck's long term status. Still VERY MUCH up in the air.

That is pretty indirect, you might say that one didn't have anything to do with the other..

I'm not totally sure how McDaniels being scum is Irsay's fault either. If anything Irsay needed sold on the idea, because his gut instinct on bringing the Patriot way to Indy was where it needed to be initially, it was Ballard who didn't get truly get the scope of how much the two franchises don't play nice. He got that wrong, but I'm guessing he get's it now.

I also don't get where you're coming up with "no plan". He's interviewed how many people now?

Oh really? You don't think that Grigson's refusal to build the O Line first had anything to do with Luck getting pounded? No plan means that Irsay should have been starting the head coaching search far earlier than what he did. We all knew Pagano was gone early in the season.

  3. This is all on Irsay. Pagano was brought it to be a defensive "guru" type of coach and it was obviously apparent years before he was fired that he was anything but. Grigson was supposed to be a "draft guru" type of GM who could find diamonds in the rough like nobody's business. In reality, he was a legend in his own mind. It was painfully obvious that both those guys should have been gone years before they were, but Irsay was too stubborn to admit he was wrong. Indirectly lead to Luck getting injured and putting a rare talent QB's career in jeopardy. Here we are again. Jury still out on Ballard, but had no plan for a head coach except bringing in a guy with questionable head coaching skills and questionable moral fiber/integrity. Irsay handled a dream situation with Luck coming in on rookie contract as bad as possible.  I put the blame where it should be......Irsay.

  4. I might say thank you Jim Irsay down the road, but Irsay is a main reason we are in this mess right now. I was begging him to get rid of Grigson and Pagano for 2-3 years and he stubbornly held on because he didn't want to admit he was wrong. I was beside myself when he decided to bring Pagano back again. Time will tell whether this was the right GM decision. Like what I see so far.

  5. McDaniels just showed you his lack of integrity. He had questionable integrity in Denver. He comes from a team with all out questionable integrity. Colts will be behind the eight ball a bit, but count your blessings. We avoided a disaster here IMO.

Gaga was GREAT.  I wonder if it inspired the Pats. lmao  You have to think Bill B. was saying to the Pats at halftime, "Okay come on guys listen to Gaga........tap your feet. ENERGY GIVE ME ENERGY!!!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!"

I like some Madonna songs but Gaga is a better singer all around to me.

I agree with BOTH of you guys that Gaga is the better singer and musician, but Madonna is the queen of pop. She is a better dancer than Gaga and when I'm comparing the catalogue, it's no question.  Madonna's songs are flat out better. Madonna is still making great songs to this day. When Gaga is still cranking songs out after 35 years, we can call it a draw. Until then, Madonna reigns:)

  7.  Patriots are one of the few teams period that would visit the white house under this administration. Like what was said before, both he and Belichick are Trump fans(as if I needed any more reason to hate the Patriots). Even if most of the team didn't want to go, who is going to stand up to the coach and QB and say they are not going? Every last one of them will cave.

  8.  He probably deserves another chance, but he deserves to be drafted low and I don't want any part of him near the Colts organization. People across the board in college football in general have to finally be held accountable. Coaches and players alike. College football is far more corrupt than any of us even realize. The stuff coming out about Art Briles and the Baylor program should make anybody sick to their stomach.
