  1. Its been a week since finding out i have a menicus tear in my non-arthritic knee. Got a cortisone shot and it hurts worse than when i got the shot. Guess that's gonna mean surgery..ughh

      In other words, I opted for rehab and not surgery since my activity levels aren't super high and the rehab made my knee feel better. Yes, there are lingering nuisance pains, nothing debilitating but I resort to surgery only if I have to.

      Hang in there buddy! Knees are quite resilient as far as body parts & minimal complications go...Good luck CF4L & keep me posted pal. :)

      Doc said to wait a week, and let the cortisone work..no infection they can tell..Prescribed some extra pain meds..If not any better re-visit and then go from there. I have one knee that is already so bad it needs replacement,(bone on bone arthritis)so I have to get something done with my "good" knee. Thanks for the kind words..I'll keep everyone posted.
