  1. When you have a great line the defense gets tired and when you a guy like t rich pounds and pounds the defense .. Soon the defense will crack and you'll break a big one .. Boom Bradshaw change of pace back t rich is a thumper he gets his speed going and stops at the line cause holes is clogged .. If you watched colts games when the line blocked you'll see him get 5 a clip on every carry .. You'll see what I mean this Sunday when Blount and gray destroy us up the middle .. No tricks here right up the gut.. I hope we don't see that and I hope we win .. I'm not to sure we have the tools to stop them . I hope I'm wrong .. #gocolts

Don't have a great line, Trent never pounds anything. He gets the bal, he dances, slowly tries to move forward, runs into his blocker, then is tackled. No pounding.
  2. Trent has had plenty of time to show what he's got. Grigson and Pagano have gave him every possible opportunity to succeed. Should they both jeopardize their own careers for a running back who can't play ?

The trade makes Grigson look bad, but putting Trent back on the field would make him look worse. His job isn't to risk it all on a player who so far stinks, his job is to help fins the pieces that will make the team win and tight now Boom is a better piece.

I mean by your rationality Luck should have never been drafter because we had Painter and he wasn't given the time to develop into a starting role.

Some guys are better then others and some guys who were great college players stink when they get to the NFL. You gonna waste seasons, millions of dollars, and years off of other players careers while you try to develop a running back who is outperformed by everyone his shares carries with ?

Boom ain't the GOAT, but he is better then Trent which means that's who you go with at this point.

You gonna tell all the other players, " I know you guys worked hard to get to this point, but we are way more interested in giving Trent 30 carries this week then we are in winning the game and making the Superbowl "

  3. I can say one thing about Trent you going from bama to Cleveland Then end up in Indy that's a huge difference .. We don't have a line .. The left side is good but from center to rt is probably the worst in the league .. To be honest I don't think Trent got a fair shake in Indy .. They put so much pressure on him . The playbook was complex for him . And the line isn't any good .. Oh yea an his ave you can't go by that you give him the ball 10 times a game .. Boom had 23 car for 60 something yards lol but he's good that's joke I don't think boom had a 100 game this season ? Did any of are rbs have 1 ? That's wat I thought ..

If Trent can't learn a playbook in 2 years that everyone else seems to be able to learn then he is dumb.

The playbook excuse is gone, should have not even made it to the end of last season. Of he goes to another team will they need to sign him to a 6 year deal so that he will have 2 years to play and 4 to learn the playbook ?

Trent never managed to get a league average ypc behind the Browns line. Ballard had a better ypc his rookie season then Trent.

Trent puts up numbers that any 7th round player could match.

He doesn't even have enough good plays in the NFL to make a 1 minute highlight reel.

Trent is a bust. Cleveland knew it and unloaded him as fast as they could. Imagine how bad he must have looked in camp and practice for them to deal him away after just a couple weeks into the season.

  4. Boom ain't gonna set the world on fire but if you pair him with another solid back next season then you could have a strong run game that defenses have to account for.

  5. Boom is hungry and wants to prove he belongs on a team and on the field. Trent was handed his job this season and never has shown that he deserved to keep it.

How many teams go years and years without making it this far ? You wanna throw that away because you feel like Trent deserves another shot ? Will he deserve another shot next season ? Will he deserve a new contract ?

Boom will kill himself trying to do his part to win a Superbowl, because he knows that this may be his only shot as a starter, Trent doesn't have any motivation, he still thinks he's playing good football.

Boom has out played Trent, he moved his way up the depth chart, let the man who wants it more play.

  6. Honestly activating Trent at this point just makes you lose a special teams player. The other backs can block and catch just as good as Trent, and they can actually move the ball on the ground when called on to do it. They are hungry and want a shot at starting somewhere next season, or at least a chance to play, Trent isn't hungry, in fact he may have ate too much.

Trent isn't going to be the slightest bit of help against the Pats.

This is the time of the year when you go for broke not go with what's broke. Trent did a great job last week. And I am hoping he does another similar great job this week. If they bench him it will only be 2 less yards then he got the last time he played the Pats in the playoffs, and he won't even fumble

  7. Boom realistically shouldn't even be starting in the playoffs for a team, taking that into consideration and the fact that he did what was asked of him, I would say he was very good.

IMO Boom also helped keep Luck upright by just presenting the chance of a run game. The Broncos knew Boom can pick up 1st downs with his legs, unlike the other running back, so they have to account for it.

  8. What's the big deal if they boo ? It's all they can do to show they disapprove. Are they supposed to cheer nonstop even after a bad play ?

You don't respect their fans ? I doubt they are losing sleep over another fan base not respecting them.

Does booing accomplish anything, probably not, but players get paid a lot of money so if they have to hear some people booing them then I am sure the balance of their bank accounts eases the pain.

  9. If that report is accurate.......I don't even know what to say.....wow, just wow.

I ain't gonna swear by the article, when a player struggles you will always hear rumors as to why, but if it is true and the word spreads then he's done in the NFL and not just with the Colts.
  10. The difference being that people won't look at this game and know that. They will simply claim Luck throws ints as an argument that he is not good. In 3 years nobody will remember the game, but every time he plays in the post season they will show his TD/Int ratio.

They don't have a special stat for interceptions that don't matter, just like they don't have a special stat for touchdowns once the game is pretty much won.

It's not like Luck is on a steak of not throwing picks.

  11. With Boom doing a good job picking up blitzes last week, it kind of makes Richardson obsolete. I have long doubted that the team would just eat a $3m salary for him in 2015, but this makes me wonder...

If a player can't contribute then you are basically eating his salary either way. You can let him take a roster spot and sit on the bench or you can cut him and still have that spot, either way the money is dead.
  12. What kind of cookies would you like?

A lot of people didn't say you were wrong, but wanted to give him more time to see if with the right o-line(still not right) and more time that he would turn it around. With the very little time he is being given per game, I really don't think he is being given a fair shot at improving...his own fault? Maybe. His time seems to have run out with the Colts, so be it. I am hoping he will turn it around somewhere once the right tools are in place. Still not going to take great joy in seeing a person fail, this was his profession, how he feeds his family, and I'm sure it's crushing to not be able to succeed at this level.

    Chocolate chip would be fine
