Why is Jacksonville not throwing money at Romo? Keep hearing Denver and Houston, Jacksonville would be way better with Romo.

if ballard goes out and signs a WR with an injury history, would that instantly make him the same as Grigs?
No, he still has to mess up a lot of drafts and trades.
-
Pretty sure this won't take the almost 50mil in cap space the Colts have and all of their draft picks.

I can't help but feel the potential Trent Cole level of bust possibility with this guy.
I agree.

His stats aren't anything to write home about. He had a good year in '13, but it looks pretty downhill from there.
Why would you trade for someone that's going to get released? Fear of someone else scooping him up first?

Any word on why he retired?
I haven't read any but I have to imagine health played a role in his decision.

I don't acknowledge physical money. This didn't happen.

I wasn't trying to be a *. And don't know where I was judgemental? It's Pokémon.. what the hell Don't care either way though whatcha think pal. And your last sentence is very ignorant.
You came across as one. I don't see how it's an ignorant statement but whatever, you don't care what I or anyone else thinks anyway.

Yeah obviously there's people, but the actual Pokémon are animal things/creatures/whatever. Which is what he was referring too.
Okay now carry on...
They're Pocket Monsters...Maybe get off that high horse and learn to loosen up there Vegeta. Liking DBZ doesn't really put you in a position of judgment.

Pokémon are like weird animal things, not people lol.
Devils advocate...there are people in Pokemon. Lots of them, you play as a person. DBZ and Pokemon both have anime television series.
Carry on all...

Marshall just can't seem to stick with a team. Maybe he goes to the Steelers. They need someone opposite AB
Tennessee seems to be in the market for receivers too.

For a moment there, I thought you were pulling my leg.
Then I found him.... played for Virginia.
The honest answer is I have no idea. But if he gets drafted, I would guess that it's late, like R7.
Not listed among 315 prospects for ESPN.com At least, not yet.
Not listed among the top RB's for NFL.com, and they've got about 35-40 listed.
And not listed among the top RB for CBS Sports.com and they've got about 75 listed.
Sorry I don't have better info for you.
One last thought to share.... each year, roughly 30-35 players who were NOT invited to the Combine get drafted anyway. So the fact that Taquan is not at the combine is not an indicator that he definitely won't be drafted. It only takes one team to fall in love. Then again, as a RB, he's stuck in the wrong year. So many other backs rated above him....
Remember a year ago, the Colts admitted they had Josh Ferguson with a 3rd round grade. And he went undrafted where the Colts later signed him an a free agent.
He's definitely not a number 1 but, I could see him thrive in a Sproles role. He had a good career despite being on awful teams. I would be very happy if the Colts picked him up as an UDFA. Thanks for taking the time to look him up.
-
What round do you see Taquan Mizell going?
-
Personally I'd like to see the Colts get Taquan "Smoke" Mizzell if they decide to draft a RB. Smoke to me could be a Darren Sproles type player for the team and could contribute on offense and special teams immediately. He's also the only player in ACC history with 1,500+ career rushing and 1,500+ career receiving yards. Probably would be between a 4-6 round pick. I'd be okay selecting a back at that point, though I'm not opposed to Cook in round one if there's not a better defensive player available.
-
My only fear about losing Doyle is if DA gets injured (or as some of you would argue, when) Swoope is the number 1 TE and someone who is not on th team currently is TE 2. That doesn't fill me with confidence.

Let's see. Joe won his fourth SB in 1990. Brady his fifth in 2017. It took 27 years to dethrone Joe. That sounds about right. See you in 2044.
Thanks for your opinion. Feel free to not quote me ever again.

Don't forget Avery and Nicks....we've tried to fill that 3rd wr position several times and so it makes sense why we went ahead and pulled the trigger on Dorsett. Hopefully Phillip gets a role in this offense this year.
I liked what I saw from Chester as well.

I had a feeling they would cut him, even the underpants gnomes probably could've seen this in their master plan.
Phase 1 - Cut DQ
Phase 2 - ???????????
Phase 3 - Profit
Phase 2 is always, underpants.

There was no harm in keeping him as depth.
None.
No matter how bad he was. He could still be a great teacher to younger players.
We were 50 million plus to the good in cap space. The money we gained by cutting him was not necessary.
I'm not saying we should have retained him as a starter. But was it the end of the world if we held on to him?
Not even close.
*
Curious if they tried to get him to take a pay cut. He may have figured he can make more on the open market.

It's one thing to say that Green sucks on a forum or something. It's rude and classless to directly send messages to him telling him he is trash. Despite what people think, being a public figure doesn't automatically mean people can hide behind the computer and be a * while he is just supposed to accept it. People act like he can just suddenly decide to be better and it is his fault that he isn't an instant legend that doesn't make mistakes. I'm sure he is putting forth a full effort to improve, so to put forth an effort to personally attack him is just stupid, and I don't blame him for reacting negatively to useless knobs.
Here's the thing, he's an adult. If he wants greatness then go get it. If he can't handle criticism then maybe the public spotlight and social media isn't for him. He also sinks to their level when people say nasty things. He could just be the bigger man and block then or not respond like most celebs/athletes but he has to resort to emojis or infantile insults. I have zero sympathy for that dude.

At this point you've contributed to the Colts about as much as he has.

I have never type a single word at him on Twitter. I follow him and see how he handles himself when faced with warranted criticism. He's not very good at all and he cannot handle that fact.
