Or they have a horrible season or get injured then what?
He's getting $8 million, he'll be okay. It seems most teams set up contracts so that they can get out of them after a year anyway.

Jenkins coming tomorrow.....not sounding good for Poe.
Not sounding good for Jones and Parry either.

Parry has court issues to deal with
Yeah, I don't think he's going to be employed much longer. I think this signing signals the end of his time in Indy.

If I'm David Perry I'm not answering my phone today, in fact I'm turning it off and throwing it in the toilet.

Saw that coming. I'm okay with that, did not want him going to Pittsburgh. Not a fan of the Steelers. ( or Patriots haha, I don't have to deal with Pats fans in real life.)

I guess we're not even bringing in Zachary?
They have a lot of cap space so I'm guessing he signs there.

Rapsheet is reporting that Zach Brown is visiting the Raiders today. We may see Brown and Poe sign today, two forum favorites.

That one was pretty easy to follow.
We have had a tough time tackling anyone for a couple of years. It's not complaining when it is absolutely true. No need for any of us to wear rose colored glasses. We were one of the worst tackling teams in the league last year.
So we sign a backup OL who may or may not even make it through camp, and one person asks if he can play corner while another asks if he can tackle anyone.
It is okay for people to joke around about these things. We have a long way to go before we know how any of these new acquisitions will pan out.
I have no issue with people joking. Don't like the gripey for no reason crowd. Missed the sarcasm, read it as sincere, it happens.

Yeah. You totally missed the bus on that one.
No, it was either sarcasm or someone else complaining over nothing. Hard to differentiate on here.

Nice!
Can he tackle the quarterback? Or anyone...
I'm sure he can tackle if he has to, though I don't think that played a factor in him signing to be a backup lineman.

Not quite true.....if I remember correctly this dude blocks field goals really well. So that is one thing.
He blocked 3 in 2016.

Gotta have bodies. Worst case is he's awful and the Colts are in the exact same boat. Doubt he was signed to start. Will wait to pass judgement.
-
If the Colts weren't interested did they really lose out?
-
Kind of shocking, good for him for doing his homework though. He may be looking for the best fit as opposed to the most $.
-
I need to watch some of his highlights, I know several members on here whose judgment I trust seem to really like him.
-
A rather large contingent will be happy about this.
-
If it's a big $ deal people are going to freak out and complain. If he is great on the field no one will care about how much $ he makes. Wait and see how he performs before you lose your minds people.
-
Really like this signing.

I'd like Chris Long for cheap. Love that guy.

Cleveland is debating releasing him. Haha, good grief.

Two reasons. One, Romo wouldn't go there. Romo needs a team built to win NOW --- this season. J'Ville, even with all their money, is not ready to make a deep run in the playoffs just yet. Maybe soon, but not yet.
And two, not everyone loves Romo enough. He gets hurt a lot. You throw a ton of money at Romo and then he gets hurt again and then what?
Those are two very good reasons.
Argument to that is, they're not winning the South let alone anything else with Bortles. They have lots of pieces, Romo could make them a very good team.

Of course, but the thinking behind it is just insane if it's true
I like Moncrief a lot but he does seem to disappear frequently.
