Brandon Williams has also been impressive.
-
I have heard the opposite for Dysert.
-
I would rather move up to get Lee or, if we need these positions next year, Tuitt or CB Bradley Roby.
-
Yes, he will. It may not be our biggest need, but if he has an ILB rated much higher than any other player I would be fine with him drafting one.If we go ILB in the first Grigson may not be around much longer lol -
If we go ILB in the first, I would want Ogletree or Kevin Minter.

DE: Armond Armstead
I like this thread a lot.
-
QB: Luck
RB: Ballard and 6th round pick Zach Line as 2 back
LT: Castanzo
LG: Vasquez
C: Shipley
RG: Jonathan Cooper
RT: Andre Smith
TE: Allen
TE: Fleener
WR: Wayne
WR: Hilton

Ogletree if we draft an ilb.

Or a replacement for Brown.....But oh wait, Brown is the best back in the league and can never be replaced. If Graham is drafted, it's to replace Brown.Im assuming a potential replacement for Karim if we lose him on kick returns since he is a FA or depth because Moore is FA and he is 30 years old and he is a unrestricted FA, one of those two likely scenarios in my opinion -
Trestman or Lombardi

Josh Chapman played for a month or two on a torn acl. They are definitely some tough guys.Julio Jones did the Combine with a fracture in his leg. Those Alabama guys are tough! -
During the National Championship. This might cause him to fall to the third, which I would LOVE to get him in. He had surgery already, I think.

I really want Armstead!!!!

1. Si
2. Yes, I actually was at it the last 2 years. Mainly for autographs. I have almost every pro-bowler from the last 2 years autograph.

How is 5'10 size? That's everyone's knock on Elam. I'd rather trade further down and get DJ Swearinger.
Do not like the Patterson pick. He is a #2. That's what he will be. Certainly not worth a 2, 3, and 4.
I like the FA. The draft I don't.
Patterson is percieved by some as the best WR in the draft.

A. Fluker was awesome against a much better ND team.not a fan of the draft fluker was terrible against western Kentucky, and I'm not a fanWhy get a K
Another RB? We need OL not a RB
Trufant is almost uneeded we have a good FA class of corners DRC, smith, Williams etc
Gholston has bust all over him
We should be looking at an OLB, spencer to me will cost too much compared to a rookie, and a pass rusher would be preferred
I would prefer Byrd over gholson
But I like the 2 OL ideas for FA
I would like to invest in a #1 WR in FA for when Reggie retires
B. Vinatieri should retire soon.
C. OL was adressed in FA and with Fluker by that point.
D. We don't need to get a corner in FA if we get Trufant, plus he will be much cheaper.
E. Gholston needs to be put on a good organization and I think that Indy can turn him around. He has al
l the physical tools.
F. Spencer is young, proven, and well worth the price.
G. Byrd will most likely be franchise tagged.
H. Davis can learn next to Reggie.

No. Sorry, but no.
If we trade our #1 for a 2014 #1, we'll need something else.
I don't see a team trading their #2 this year and a #1 next year. For which player? Your scenario already has no great player falling to us. Why would a team give up a #2 this year and a #1 next year?
OK.... if not that. Then would a team give up a #3 this year and a #1 next year? Maybe. Why would the Colts want to do that? Have no pick until the 3rd round? All so we can get an extra #1 next year? I don't see it.
I think it's an extreme long shot at best.
It has been suggested by two other posters that we trade out of the 1st round to one of two teams that have two #2's this year.
Honestly, I don't see any team giving up two #2's for one low #1. Can't remember it ever happening. Doesn't mean it won't, but again, it's a very, very long shot.
A few years ago, Denver gave up a 2/3/4 to trade up to get Tim Tebow. I think they moved up roughly 15 spots. I had this stat about 6 weeks ago, I'll try to look it up again. I think that's the Best we could hope for. And I don't see that happening either. I'd be happy if we trade back and get a 2/3/5.
Remember, when you propose these ideas, they're typically one sided, in the Colt's favor. You've also got to consider why another team would want to do this? Got to be fair for both sides.
Just food for thought....
I had an idea that we trade down to the lower second and get back a 2014 first. We have to throw in a 2014 5th for that deal though. I would go as high as a 2014 fourth.
