,,,..with the Colts game beginning at 4:05......and with Jax throwing their usual 35-40 passes a game...
..the Jacksonville-Tennessee game wont be over before the Colts kick off will it?
It could be over in the first quarter if you get what I mean.

I didn't say to tank or we will be better next season if we lose. My point was winning the last 2 games THIS SEASON will not give us some kind momentum to start NEXT SEASON.
Especially with 20 to 30 new guys. This year will have nothing to do with next year.

Colts may not even beat the Jags.
Agreed.
They could easily lose 2 in a row to end the season.
-
Jags have lost 9 in a row.
They're not beating anyone.
Our chance was the Tex game. That garbage Jags squad is thinking about where to vacation in a couple weeks right now. They're not worried about pride or winning.
I wish, but it's essentially like relying on Cleveland to help you right now. I wouldn't bet anything over a couple pennies on it.

Safe to say this could be a solid learning opportunity or a complete disaster.
-
We have a pattern of wetting the bed after a solid showing. Odds are that's what'll happen here.
All goes back to no confidence in our coaches for me.
We could win it with a game plan like last week, but I'm sure they'll try to reinvent the wheel like usual.
-
Pretty sad that we could be looking at meaningless football by the time we kickoff.
I will be glued to that Jax game if they somehow could pull it off or until they're down 17 in the first qrtr.

This was one of the rare few times where he had a game plan that actually worked to his strengths.
I fully expect a game plan this week which will look nothing like last week. Wouldn't want to stick with what works.

This got him many extra years he might not otherwise been given...
Can't disagree there. He really has been so overrated in the NFL community for years it seems.
Any other coach with his career coaching record would have been relegated to some type of career coordinator or position coach years ago.
-
I doubt Fisher is on Irsay's list if he had one, but man has this guy lucked out being a HC this long without doing much but being a .500 type coach.

I wish I understood why we can't build a D here in Indy.
Offense, no problem, D forget it. I'm sure some will say we had some good ones, but they were usually bad without a lead where they could pin there ears back and get after the QB.
I mean we won that Mia game years back where the D couldn't get off the field even if they were given shotguns to take out the other team.
Didn't we win that one with like 10-15 minutes of TOP on offense??
You want O, come to Indy...D's not sold around these parts.

He definitely saved us this year because sadly the future HOF'r on the other side is done. No knock on him, he's done it forever, but it's time.
I could see Walden walking simply because it's his last contract and teams will see double digit sacks from an edge setter and probably throw some decent cash at him that he won't be able to refuse.
Needless to say we will definitely need multiple OLB's on both sides.
-
Grigs and another of his golden FA's goes bust.
-
If you simply look at it like him (Pags) having 4 or 5 terribly coached games a year which end in losses then it's basically him being bad at his job 25-35% of the time based on 16 games.
You (everyone reading) and I would flat out be fired in a hot minute.

J'ville game is in Indy
Same difference. Simply meant they'll lose to jax needing a win.

I don't see it. Tennessee isn't going to lose to Jax, especially with the way Bortles is playing lately.
My heavens Bortles is bad. The guy plays bad schoolyard ball. I also can't see a scenario where Tenn loses to them unless they lose 3 or 4 of their stars to injury during the game.

In the AFC, you could make a case for the AFC North. No team with double digit wins as of yet and only 2 teams .500 or better along with the only winless team in the NFL. Pitt currently has the best record and I think we could all agree that had Luck played vs. Pitt we had a shot to win that one. But the worst division in the entire NFL by FAR goes to the NFC West and it's not that close. No team as of yet with 10 wins, only one team over .500. In fact, the ENTIRE division has a combined 19 wins! The AFC South by comparison has 25. The AFC North 22.
I'm biased to the south . But I get what you're saying.
Nfc west has essentially 3 teams with no qb so I'll give you that. Afc north only consists of 3 teams because Cleveland is only an nfl team by name nowadays.
I'm probably more annoyed at us sucking in this very winnable division right now so I'm most likely jaded.

They're in the weakest division in the AFC and have been for years.
Pretty sure we're in the weakest division.

Watching NE get there 7th straight first rd bye is just as disgusting.
Off topic, my mistake.

I'd take him and his potential over Allen at this point.

Old man Adams is still the best back there.
I love how he gotta for the strip EVERY SINGLE TACKLE he makes and it sometimes pays off.
Great leader as well
