He may not even get us a high pick

They suck man. They ain't winning many more, especially as guys keep dropping.

They probably have one or two wins TOPS in them. They could go winless also.

Let's just get this death spiral over with at this point. I don't want to watch much more of this season..lol

I'll be there Sunday, super cheap tickets lured me in!!!! Trying to tamper my optimism a bit, but hey you never know we could come out of there with a win, been a while since I've been there and they won!!!!

Enjoy the game man, they absolutely have a chance to win. Tennessee isn't NE. They're a divisional rival, those games are usually close.

Nothing like being around thousands of Colts fans on a Sunday.

Just like Derek Carr, Dak was just overrated. I never get excited when I see a QB only have 1 winning year or 1 great year statistically. Some people do and declare that QB the next best QB in the league. I need at least 3 years of Good to Great play and winning from a QB before I go bonkers over a QB. We seen that from Luck (2012-2014), so we know we got a potentially great one if he gets healthy.

Absolutely, it's just that anything you listen or read will sing the praises of that player that's doing well.

As soon as things seem to be getting rocky, Dallas is crashing back down to earth. I love it.

But I agree with what you're saying in general, it's easier to look good when the team looks better overall. As soon as that player has to be Peyton or Luck and drag their team to wins, they usually start losing.

  4. Peyton played on teams where he wasn't allowed to punt once or we'd lose. Peyton is the Goat to me.

How about beating Miami when we only had the ball for 15 minutes time of possession?

    He was other worldly.

And just to touch on the Pats and the rings. They were proven to have cheated against St.Louis and people never talk about the kicker from Carolina who basically handed then a SB by kicking it out of bounds. That doesn't happen 100 out of 100 times.

  5. Pre injury Edge was deadly. Post injury he was still a great back who could grind you to death.

One of every Colts fans favorite player.

Still the best Monday Night Football intro ever, 'Edgerrin James, Every Down Back, The U'...

If you didn't live through it, Indianapolis was NFL Siberia before Harbaugh.  Prior to the playoff run in '95, if a fan wore Colts gear, people thought there was something wrong with them.  Colts gear was popular on Halloween.

    You ain't lying.

People who've only been fans since Peyton have no idea how much it sucked for years.

I got laughed at multiple times growing up for being an Indy fan.

IMO ,part of the reason Mack has so many negative plays is when he enters the game , more often than not he gets the carry. So I think teams stack the run a bit more when he enters. If he were the #1 RB , I think he would get a few less stacked boxes and run blitzes.

He also honestly never gets a chance to get into a rhythm. He'll get a carry or two then nothing.

Like the week after that great game, he was given little or no play the next week (IIRC). Or have a game with no screen passes to him.

It's a mix of several things.

He could be dangerous if you utilized him a little better.

Sunday he had that bad carry where he ran 20 yards to get no gain I think, then Chud gave it right back to him on the next play right up the middle for minimal gain. Seems like a dumb time to give him another carry after he was probably gassed off that first run.

Jabaal Sheard may not be a surprise, but has been very good. Same goes for Hankins.

The gunners on return team (Kenny Moore and Chris Milton) are both excellent.

To some degree, I have been pleased with Margus Hunt and Mingo.

Before he got hurt, Henry Anderson was playing great.

I admit Doyle has made his share of mistakes, but also many good plays as well.

    Chester Rogers is on track.

Hunt has been a pleasant surprise as a cheap signing.

Although he's missed time, Rodgers is electric when he's on. I forgot about some of his 'flash' from last year. If he develops, he looks like he could be a good player.

  9. Random things im throwing out..

Desir's int was absolutely a play of the year candidate. I replayed that a few times for a couple days.

TY's flop TD in Hou and his Cleveland TD where he broke Peppers ankles...beauty.

I think John Simon will continue to get better.

Moving on from McGill, Parry and Kerr were absolutely the right moves as none of them have done squat. Same with Walden as Sheard is solid and looking better each week.

Al Woods has been a pleasant surprise as well as Hankins even though he's not getting sacks and accolades, he's a solid force in the middle who doesn't miss any time.

Jacoby has saved us from looking like a Curtis Painter led team.

Now that we've had a good sample size of what we look like. I'll say I think next year we actually could make a run if things go well obviously. Guys like Luck and Hooker will be back and add in another solid draft by Ballard coupled with some serious cash to play with and I definitely think we'll at least get our South crown back again.

Ballard seems intelligent and knows the Oline can't be fixed with a 3rd or 4th pick and a udfa or two. I think he's going to get 2 new guards in FA (solid legit nfl guards) and draft a T along with the udfa guys. They (Ballard/Jim) know they can't just wing it anymore.

    Sorry for the novel.

Very true.... but what's the common denominator in all those busts?  Chuck Pagano

I still remember an article when we drafted TJ where Pagano supposedly banged his fist on the table and said draft this kid..lol.

Your comment just made me think of that.
