Trust me Lolly. I've known you for awhile now & I respect you as a regular poster & writer on the forum. I automatically knew how difficult it was to say what you said about Adam--Going in a different direction next yr without Mr. V.

I have a ton of respect for you especially anyone courageous enough to be the first to say that this situation isn't working & letting go of such a well liked clutch kicker is exceptionally hard. That takes balls to say that & wait for the potential backlash to roll in brother. Kudos man.

Of course, had that happened...People clamoring for your head & out for blood metaphorically speaking naturally...I would have been right there to defend you.

You're a good man Lolly; I will always have your back brother. Always remember that.

    You're my boy SW1!!!!

Hey there Lolly, I'm gonna keep it 100 with ya. Originally, when I read this post from you, I blew it off because it was early in the season & I figured it was a rare mishap. But, when I saw that kick on Sunday vs. the Steelers & it wasn't even close--I said to myself...Uh oh, I can't ignore the elephant in the room anymore. Adam's golden foot has lost it's juice. This wasn't a laces problem. It's a body is betraying you problem. Sigh. That miss was really bad. Love Adam & all, but we need a new place kicker. I can't lie to myself anymore. Is Robbie Gold or Justin Tucker a free agent soon?

Yeah, I know I sound cold & heartless. Sorry, but INDY has a void here that can't be downplayed anymore. I will always revere you Adam, but the NFL sunset is near & approaching fast I'm afraid.

It takes guts to be ahead of the curve & you were right Lolly. Facts are facts.

    Agree 100% brother!

I hate to type that, and have mad respect for the guy, but they can't re-sign him next year. :(

I think the fourth running back goes before Cain.  Not that I disagree with you about Cain’s lack of production.

I've said this quite a few times, but I would like to see Hines lined up at WR a few times.

He's a way better option than Cain at this point.

  4. If they are holding out TY for as long as they are, and held back Hooker to "just be sure" then I'm guessing they'll do the same with Jacoby.

Regardless, I think Kelly gets elevated to active roster. Like people have said, take Cain's spot...he has shown nothing.

I find it interesting that the thought here is we need offensive playmakers when the Colts should have scored 30 points probably?  Missed a PAT and then tried to "catch up" with a missed 2 point conversion, and then a missed field goal.  And that was with a backup QB that that is backing up a backup that became our starter.

We also gave up a pick 6 and gifted the Steelers a field goal at that end of the second quarter.

I am still willing to let the young guys learn some things about what it takes to win.

  6. I still feel like Mack is dancing way too much.

He has excellent vision, don't get me wrong, but when he just goes he does so much better than waiting for the holes to open (that don't seem to be opening that often anymore for whatever reason)

  7. Has the O-Line regressed? Or have they only done well against subpar D-Lines?

All the Cain hype has been sorely misplaced.

Also, I said this in another thread, it doesn't matter where the laces are when you kick the ground before you kick the ball. Simple fact is AV has cost 2 games now.

  8. I thought Hoyer played very well.

I'm guessing he doesn't get many reps with the 1's in practice, so coming in cold from the bench he was impressive.

He leads WR's light years better than JB.

He has actual touch on throws (instead of rifling it in there because the throw is late)

It seemed like he went through his reads faster

There were quite a few drops by WR's - some passes hit them in the helmet....what the?

Taking 2 sacks in a row drove me absolutely insane though. JB's pocket presence is much better.

The INT was a great play by Fitzpatrick (man I wish we would've tried to get him)

File this under duh, but missing TY was huge. Pascal is literally all we have for WR after TY.
