I think he (and his team) do a good job at drafting for the most part. Are you going to have some misses? Of course, who doesn't?
When the team does poorly, who gets most of the blame?
I'm most certainly am not making excuses for Ballard, but I think he listened to Frank Reich way more than he should've.
Between Reich's play calling ability, and thinking every player is the same (him trying to shove square players into round holes) and Ballard being "scared" of drafting a QB for years (going with retreads) it was a double whammy to the teams detriment.
If Richardson hits, Ballard is a genius.
If he doesn't, well........
I'm just glad Steichen is here, and is the fresh young offensive mind this team needed. Also, holding players accountable is something this team was sorely missing. I think he's the perfect match to develop AR and transform this team.

I'm not worried about RG as much as I am worried about Kelly playing well at Center.
He most definitely didn't play like the highest paid Center in the league last year.

Rookie CB (at least on one side - Rodgers on other)
Will K Moore finally play well in Gus' Defense?
Will Leonard even play?
Will the O-line finally "gel" with Sparano leading the way?
Rookie QB who has accuracy issues
New HC, OC, ST coaches
Will they finally have an actual pass rush?
A LOT of stars would have to align for this team to make noise this year.
I believe we will see flashes, but the growing pains number will be higher than the win column.

I love the AR is carrying around the football everywhere! Reminds me of when TY was doing that just to get used to having it around.
Wouldn't it be funny if his accuracy issues were because he needed glasses this whole time? I'm sure that's not the case, but man that'd be good stuff.
