  1. I'm glad AR is working on mostly underneath stuff since that is what he struggled with. That will only make him better.

Besides, Jags D is set up to take away deep throws.

I think Pierce is being used to clear out defenders (like T.Y. did quite a bit) so he will get his chance sooner or later. Hopefully he gets back to his old self catching those long throws that AR is so good at .

You are right. Tired of Ballard's high pay but low impact always hurt players.... i.e. Darius and Nelson.

Ballard can't draft skill players with high impact potential to save his life. Pierce fits the Ballard mold perfectly.

Can you please find another forum to hangout in ?

  4. Steichen's offense looks so great compared to well.....it's been a long time since play calling has been good.

I hope Richardson is back soon, but thank God for Minschew!

    Downs is a lil' badass

    D-Line played lights out....great job

    Keep blitzing Gus!!

Leonard looks lost more than he should, and like he's lost two steps :(

Franklin and Speed look fantastic though

Nice to not have to worry about FG's anymore

Great to see Mo Allie Cox bowling over safeties. Hope they use him more.

  5. Here's hoping Colts have TE's chipping on Anderson to help out if things get sideways for Smith.

I want to see this running game take off with Moss (here's hoping)

And I wanna see some sacks on Stroud from the law offices of Buckner & Stewart!!

I think he meant that for our running game in general.

Like we have to get more out of rb's, cause 2 or 3 good runs by AR where he puts his body on the line is not enough to get the ground game going.

I understood it that way

This team/Ballard should more than know better from when Luck did this, and how that previous situation played out!

I’m worried AR is going to have a short career if he doesn’t learn to slide.

I know some are clamoring for Irsay to pay Taylor but I don’t think it matters much who we have at RB if the oline can’t open holes. Q and Kelly are overrated, Fries is still a question mark and smith is just serviceable. Not impressed with Raimann so far either.  Might as well stick with Moss,Hull and Funk. Honestly I think Taylor has made up his mind that he’s not going to play for us. If we need an upgrade at rb They should  bring in hunt or Fournette.

Pitt and Pierce have GOT to get separation. Perhaps we should get McKenzie more involved.

We Need one of our TEs to emerge as the #1. Mo ain’t it. Granson has looked pretty good but I was hoping Ogletree was going to be the playmaker we need. What say you?

I realize this year is going to be brutal and we are going to lose a lot of games but the homer in me still gets irate at a loss. I’ll be surprised if we win more than 3 games. Maybe we will have a shot to draft Marvin Harrison.

Im getting big Frank Reich vibes from Steichen with the poor play calling. I’ll wager he’ll be just as stubborn about delegating the play call duties.

anyway! I’m trying to take this season in stride. I get worked up but only for a short time and then I just let it go. Hoping for the best……Go Colts!

  8. AR played great. WE FINALLY GOT OUR GUY! :)

His pocket awareness is very impressive (even more impressive for a rookie). He steps up very well to avoid pressure.

The zip he has on the ball is ridiculous......I LOVE it! He had some throws that I had to watch twice cuz I couldn't believe they got there in time.

When he messes up, he brushes it off and doesn't let himself get discouraged as well.

  9. I am glad Leonard is back out there, I just hope it's just a matter of shaking the cobwebs off because Leonard looked slow all game.

In particular: In the 4th qtr (about 4 something to go) on the Eitienne TD run he was just standing at back of the pile not doing anything and then Etienne proceeded to run right past him.

  10. I don't know about y'all, but I'm just having fun with it.

Is Leonard hurt a lot? Heck yeah.

Is he good when he plays? Heck yeah.

Ever since the name change, he's not been what he was. Doesn't matter if anyone acknowledges it or not, sadly it's a fact.

Do I care what he calls himself? Not in the slightest.

Is he magically above being called out? Absolutely not.

We all (including myself) hope he plays and returns to the Maniac. Lighten up already.
