  1. I think it means they'll go TY and Fleener as Luck's main targets and try to mix in Brazill and Rogers together with DHB. It clearly shows he's not confident in trusting DHB - otherwise the answer would be he still is their first priority. They won't bench him, but they are going to look into mixing in the other guys more.

  2. I know its premature to debate rogers, but he played 7 snaps, got seperation on nearly all of them, drew a P.I., which should've been a TD and threw a game changing block for andrew. Its scary to think of what he could do with DHB snaps.

He wouldn't have got a TD out of it b/c of the safety storming him. A catch for sure though. Let's not crown him for something he didn't and wouldn't have done.

  3. No big name players?  Not even Mack? Who do you think we could take in the draft regarding WR?

No not even Mack. We've drafted Holmes and if we go C it won't be a big name guy. It seems people on this forum have jumped on the Mack wagon. I don't think so. Time will tell.

As for WR I think they'll go early for the replacement of Reggie. It is evident we need another WR to replace Reggie Wayne. TY is pretty good and he could be our next number 1. Reggie reached his 1000 yard season 3 years into the NFL. TY seems to progress quicker with a younger Luck compared to Manning in 04. That's promising.

I'll expect a guy like Allen Robinson out of Penn State or Jarvis Landry out of LSU to be considered. TY is small with great hands and good route running. Depends on whether they want the bigger Allen or smaller Jarvis to complement TY and perhaps Da'Rick in near future. He has potential although this forum has been extreme regarding him.

  4. I'm not expecting big name players being signed through FA. I'm not sure the coaching staff agree on the dissabilities of Satele. They know of the problems at guard - the benching of McGlynn shows that.

It'll be exciting to see what they do at ILB and DE and even OLB with Mathis getting older.

WR I expect they do something about through the draft. That class is deep this year.

  5. Completely disagree. He holds onto the ball longer than what the O-line brings him of protection. And that's not any near enough. He has to escape pressure within two seconds. His receivers aren't great enough to get open within that time. The result is balls not on target due to no protections thrown into a covered receiver due to not enough time to get separation. He gets zero help.

  6. And some of you thought we actually deserved the #2 seed in the AFC? haha y'all better wake up. This team isn't what it was when it knocked off the 3 powerhouses earlier in the year

At least we have you to know it all. Will we go to the play offs? Will Da'Rick and TRent pan out? Please tell us.

  7. Unfortunately his talent doesn't show. I'm glad Fleener and TY has stepped up though.

I don't expect either Whalen, Reed, DHB, or Rogers to really do much of an impact. A lot of the passing game has to do with Luck trusting his receivers. Neither have shown he can trust them to be their go to guy, though Whalen has shown glimpses here and there. I don't know about practice with Rogers - hope he eventually can show Luck to trust him on the field.

...And show the rest of us as well.

  8. I am sure they already are working hard on getting him to catch the ball more frequently with the hands.

But DHB has other flaws i.e. his pursuit for the deep balls aren't consistent at all. His best catches come above his head stretching his arms out forcing him to catch with his hands.

The signing of a PS WR and adding Da'Rick indicate the coaching staff are aware of the issues with the WR position besides TY. Brazill and Reed haven't done squat either. It's been TY on top with Fleener as the second option.

...Whalen has shown glimpses of potential.
