Ebron's drop set the scene for the game. Feel the coaches panicked a bit early game. Our run game has been a corner stone of this offense the past months, and we should've stuck with that today

No question this is true and my post was not to say or infer that it was. I was just a bit surprised they let Q get abused like that. We had plenty of chances to get back into the game and no doubt pooped the bed,
agreed. He needs a massage

Looking at the WR class in FA, no names really stick out to me, so I’d probably address it in the draft. However, I think we can definitely address some pass rush and safety help in FA, so that will be a big help
Gotcha. We need all three yes. And a corner.

The loss is on the entire team we just flat out didn't show up for this game got beat by the better team sure the refs didn't help our cause but im not going to 100% blame them for the loss from the get go outplayed and outcoached the chiefs won cause they are the better team. Congrats chiefs hope you get to go to the super bowl.
They sure was. Looked well-prepared. We weren't ready for a 3 and out.

Running in to the kicker, that was the worst one...

The refs did not help us at all, but the loss is on Andrew and co.

Underestimating their D# and overestimating their O#. I don't expect this to be a high-scoring affair, actually. Both teams have a huge amounts of respect for each other, and I think this game will reflect this.

Questionable: F. Gore, D. Allen, V. Davis, P. Robinson.
Walden and Davis to go? No no. Of course you keep them.

A fellow Dane - great!

Do you agree?
The worst thing to me is the lack of pressure on the defensive side of the ball. That has been absolutely inconsistent. But, we have some young guys like Anderson and Parry, who've been a good improvement. I hope they continue developing, and if next year is spent on improving the pass rush (both DE and OLB), things might change.
Another thing is that most of the improvements (almost all) have been through the draft and those guys need time to develop.
-
Melvin was killing us out there. Saw his number constantly give up passes.
-
That drop... he sure finds unfortunate times to drop the balls.

This wasn't a sexy draft, but the score boards will be!
Solidified O-line. Some development types, some starters right away. But it all circulates around helping Luck.
Would have liked a little more help on the defensive side, but again, that might reflect on me not knowing TJ Green. Might be a reach, might be a rather unknown and raw diamond.

The O-line should be solidified now, which is great. 4 linemen, some will turn starters, others backup, but the overall assignment of protecting Luck should be accomplished now.

Exciting draft

Exactly! This was my thought when I heard Pagano talk about him in the presser. Someone who could some day challenge the Gronks of this game. It is a big if, but if it works....
Very big if... All hypothetical.
But hey, if someone can turn him into a great pro, it's Pagano, so who knows.

If we had drafted all Defense, you couldn't give us an A because we didn't address the Oline.
But we did something very significant in my eyes. Our 2nd round pick. I read that he will/might be used to cover the Gronks and Jimmy Grahams in the league. He has the size and more than enough speed to do that. If he can be effective in that role at some point, that is something everybody has been trying to solve.
It didn't necessary have to be either of the extremes. I never mentioned all in on D.
Yes, if he can, but he's raw and has only played two years D. It's a long shot.
I'm not saying this draft is bad. Not at all. But an A is a complete reach, since our (already lacking) pass rush has been left out.
-
Can't be an A when the pass rush has been left out. I mean the O-line is deep now, which is good, but we're allowing others to pass for a lot of yards on us.. Unless the D-line somehow turns brutal
-
I expect high-scoring games next season. On both sides of the ball.
-
So... how many O-linemen do we have?
Hats off to Kenny Moore!

I actually think our D did a good job all in all. Good forced fumble by Leonard, and sack by Moore...
