Still a vague incomplete thought .I did what I was saying there is that team would be a whole lot better with a more than average QB.
-
Thank you tk .. I get that ! My point however was don't ask for Others opinions while only giving a incomplete thought ..Well, there are 4 AFC South teams.
Colts: Andrew Luck
Texans: Matt Schuab
Titans: Jake Locker
Jags: Gabbert
3 out of the 4 teams need a "real" QB
-
first off who needs a real qb !? There are for teams in the afc south . Secondly if your going to ask for others thoughts give a complete thought of your own !they need a real QB thoughts?
-
my apologizes I was only reading the recent posts didn't fully read the thread. It was mentioned previously in the thread about how we could have signed him and so n so instead of so n so, not gonig to re read the thread again to find the exact post this thread is old enough.
-
nothing to great unfortantly but he did exceeded my expectations for the season by getting there ;)You didn't answer my question. All I saw was blah blah and some hypotheticals. I'll ask you again. What did the "elite" rookie do in the playoffs?
-
Hey man I love baiting qwizboy and Vance as much as anyone on this fourm .. But you are waaaayyy to obvious about it!Weak division, Peyton was hurt and they barely beat an undermanned Colts team for the Division this year because we have a QB...The results of the last meeting between the 2 are a sign of things to come unless you get a new more capable QB...You have plenty of talent to win the Super Bowl and it's a shame all they have done is beat the Bengals and Schaub was the QB for only 1 of those wins if that tells you anything.

No one has said anything about itThis times a thousand. And can we please quit the Jake Long talk? Moving AC to RT would be a HUGE mistake. He came along nicely last year showing to be a monster in run blocking and got better as the year went on in pass blocking. REMEMBER HE WAS INJURED IN 2011 which essentially made him a rookie last year starting from square one.

We have some resident pats fans who think we want to be informed of there team . Not saying they are all bad but a few in particular go out of there way to instigate fights by always underhand means f insulting manning and the ColtsThe amount of pats threads on here surprised me maybe I just thought all colts fans shared the same hatred for the pats as me
-
Soo since spygate you havent accomplished anything ?Don't kid yourselves, Pats fans could never catch Colts fans in the excuse department.
And again, you are confusing excuses with reality. You cited all Welker's accomplishments and I cited some of his shortcomings. He led the team in drops last year and has lost speed. He has also come up small in big moments. Like I said, Amendola can do no worse. I could care less about 100 catches if you don't make THE catch. Would rather have 30 catches a year and make the catches to continue a playoff run...but that is just me. I know Colts fans equate regular season success and all those divisional titles with SBs but in NE we value rings above all else. Everything else is window dressing.

Reggie Wayne was double teamed almost every play last year .As I said, the first 2 options are probably most logical with our recent NT pickup.
Option 1...,,,,,,, Luck has an immediate game changer and target that will draw constant double teams
This makes the whole offense much more effective as one or more othe receivers will get single coverage
Currently, We have no one on the roster that would get consistent double teams...... At WR
Option 2
Watching some tape of this guy Warford, he reminds me of a young Steve Hutchinson or even a Larry Allen
If you want to run the ball......... He is one of 2 in this draft can really push the pile from a guard position
Our running attack would immediately get better........
If we go option 2 We STILL need a solid WR............... I am not sold that its Bobo Brazile
Maybe we get the head case DuhRick........
-
We don't have a second round pick. / thread
-
Who needs loyd to teach the youngsters when you got Wayne ?I dont mind this signing, A veteran like Lloyd would show young guys like Brazil and Hilton route running techniques and leadership imo this move would suite us, and I dont think it would cost that much. I would be happy with a 2 year deal.
-
I we get a lb I want a outside rusher not a inside guy :/Can't say I agree with you guys. ILB is a position I would like to upgrade if the right player fell. Freeman is great, Angerer does not seem to fit this system, though he may improve this season and Conner is just okay. If Ogletree fell or T'eo was there, I would be pretty happy if we picked them. Solidifying the position for years to come isn't a bad idea considering how much we have patched up other positions.
Brian made a great point a few weeks back in another thread... we are basing this defense on the Ravens... Ray Lewis was the heart and soul of that defense for years, Ravens value the ILB position highly.

faile attempt at a derail .. I would say a) , and I draft a cb , or olb . We can wait till next year for a WR that draft Is going to be amazing !I don't like this phrasing. Upgraded ? I doubt we'll draft anyone that will be an upgrade. Furthermore, the NFL draft isn't always about improving on a position you think needs improvement. Sometimes it's better to draft a player who can take the time to learn and get ready at the pro level, and helps in the long term.
-
I get it now ! Sorry I didn't quite grasp it at first ! Thought you really wanted a RB 1stI jest,
OP asked "If DHB signs..." so i filled in the blank
I like Ballard & I think with a good O-line even D. Brown can be an above average, dare I say even a good back...
I just know how drafts go down for the Colts (at least in the Polian era)
and now seeing how Grigson worked free-agency (lots of under the radar players, addressed alot of positions),
I will not be surprised if Colts go ANY direction in this draft...
So saying I fully expect a RB to be drafted is my way of saying I expect the unexpected...
sometimes humor gets lost on the interwebs...
-
Why?? Ballard Dosent cut it for you ?I fully expect a RB to be drafted...
-
Lol this is still going
-
Lol lets not get ahead of ourselves here . They have to make the afc championship game first !how many superbowls have the oilers/Texans played in?
-
riiiight it was pm call to take a knee with 30 seconds left . I can't even talk to you man , you come here and intentionally pick fights by saying things you know will get people riled up. Go to your own board and lick Matt Schwabs boots.Quite the opposite of Peyt Peyt...losing to the good teams early on, beating the easy ones the rest of the way, and losing in the postseason again. With the second-ranked defense. He carried his bad Colt luck with him to Denver but left some behind for Drew.
-
Cool you start out strong and finish weak a sign of a true champion there if I ever saw oneYet it will continue...especially this season. You better hope the schedule makers don't decide to make the season opener for the Colts in Houston. That tends to turn out bad as of late.
-
You say you don't come here picking fights but your always throwing barbs out there against the colts on a COLTS board.Read the thread before jumping in. I repeat, a dog will bite if kicked. I don't come here proclaiming the Texans greatness. I'll leave all that macho crap to your friends on this forum. There are people that I like here and there are people that like me. Look for the common denominator.

We split or head to head record against you last year and still almost won the divison after being predicted to have the #1 pick all over agian . Get off your high horse and realize we are coming for you !LOL in your dreams, as were the past two seasons...as will be this one as well. You're not going to shut me up; When we kill you it will be " OH MY GOD THE REFS" or " THE RAIN MADE THE BALL SLIPPERY" just like it always is. I haven't forgotten what happened the last time we won.
-
God you win the afc south twice and think your team is suddenly god like . Talk to me when you win youd divsion for a decade . We're are your Afc championships ? O wait that's right you don't have any! Also your not a lock to win this division agian this year , seeing as how we your team can never play a whole season consistently .Gee golly, I SURE wish we would have gotten Erik Walden (who's that guy again?) or Hasselbeck and paid both of them big time money! Now those are real go-getters!!! Especially Hasselbeck, sitting on that bench making 4 mill a year! And Toller and what's his face are pretty good players too! Oh if we had gotten those guys we could beat those pesky Colts and win the South for once...
Oh wait.

Rg3 Dosent need a curse to get injured ;)Whether I believe in the curse or not is irrelevant, I'm not taking chances.
My vote is for RG3.
