  1. So I'm a Heat fan (not a band wagoner btw. i was born in miami and have loved them since i was born) and I love Lebron. Everything about his game including his strength, speed, explosion and finesse game. My question is if he was in the NFL where would he rank as a WR or as a TE in the NFL right now. He was an all state WR in high school and is there anything about him that says he couldn't succeed in the NFL with his speed for his size. I personally think he'd be challenging Calvin as a top WR but that's just my opinion. Barring injury which occurs a lot in the NFL obviously, how good do you think he'd be?

And to the many haters of Lebron, answer without bias. Thanks haha

    I would still hate him
  2. I totally forgot Hopkins (Clemson) came out this year. I definitely wouldn't mind us using ONE Draft pick on an offensive player like Hopkins. His hands are definitely great & he's pretty fast.

And I wouldn't mind us getting Brent Grimes but only if he's good to go. Low Risk, High Reward there

Sammy Watkins could come out next year !
  3. Acting like a donkey? I think the majority of America does that. A lot of people his age smoke pot too. I'm not saying that it's right but they still deal with cravings and make bad mistakes just like you and I do. I may not agree with the stuff he's done before but I don't expect him to be perfect either.

Clearly you have never smoked pot . There are no "cravings" . Cigarettes have cravings .. Besides I don't think it out buissness if an athlete wants tO blow some smoke .
  4. You are kidding, right? THe niner D did not even show up or its special teams. Kaep almost led them all the way back from a 22 point hold which would have been the greatest come back in SB history. Did you also miss the NFC champ game when he came back from 17-0 deficit? Or when he smoked your boy Rodgers putting on a record setting post season performance?

Acutlay kaep never "smoked" Rodgers ... Kinda hard to "smoke" a player who plays on the same side of the ball as you ..
  5. How about naming the Comfort Inn bar near the stadium as the Manning Lounge. Just stock it with a case of Natty Boh's when I pull up in there !

Natty ice is what you would choose to stock it with ? -_-
  6. So, to help the offseason go a little bit until free agency lets go back down memory lane... What's your top 5 Indianapolis (not Baltimore) Colts games of all time? Mine:

    1. Super Bowl XLI vs. Bears (2006 season) - This is #1 for obvious reasons. Being able to watch my favorite team finally overcome the hurdle and be on top of the sports world was truly one of the best days of my life.

    2. AFC Championship Game vs. Patriots (2006 season) - Entertainment and suspense wise, this was the best game I have ever seen and will probably ever see. I'm so grateful that I was able to be inside the dome that day. Loudest game ever. Also, it was fitting that we had to beat them to get to the Super Bowl for the first time!

    3. "CHUCKSTRONG Game" Week 5 vs. Packers (2012 season) - The great comeback against the great Packers was by far the most exciting game in the 2012 season IMO. The emotion that came along with it and plus the amazing comeback was absolutely unbelievable. This game showed just the beginning of what this team could do this year and for many years to come.

    4. "Rosencopter Game" Week 5 vs. Texans (2008 season) - All day the Colts were getting thrashed by the Texans and their back up QB Sage Rosenfels. The Colts offense was inaffective all game... Then the Rosencopter happened and the rest was history from there. 2 fumble recoveries (one for a TD) and a sick one handed grab by Reggie Wayne sealed the game for the Colts in an exciting comeback win.

    5. "Monday Night Miracle Game" Week 5 vs. Buccaneers (2003 season) - For most of the game it looked like this was out of hand. Offense was ineffective all night, but with 5 minutes left and down 21 the Colts went on a scoring spree scoring 21 unanswered points to tie the game and send it to overtime. Although, Vanderjagt tried to screw it up (missed his first kick, but got to re-kick because of "leaping" (lol)), but he barely made the 2nd kick helping the Colts to an improbable and exciting MNF win.

Honorable mention: Week 13 vs. Lions (2012 season) - All day the Colts struggled. Offense was up and down all day and Luck had one of his worst games of the season. Defense secondary let Stafford & Calvin Johnson tear us up. But when it counted, the Colts scored 2 touchdowns with less than 3 minutes to play and the defense got a stop when it was needed. Luck threw a TD pass to Avery on the last play of the game to win.

Those are my top 5 (6)... And hopefully many more to come. What's yours?!? :)

I'm ding mine on entertainment value :)

    1. Packers colts 2012. I was at that game and I have never expenerenced so much in energy at any sporting game event ever .

    2. Lions colts 2012 . Enough said .

    3. Afc champ game against the pats .

    4.superbowl win against da bears

5.colts vs the pretender texans @ home

  7. I am all for looking at picking up some talent at WR in free agency, and have mentioned Greg Jennings on more than one occassion as someone I'd love to see in speed blue. He isn't that tall receiver, though.

I can definitely see the point of pursuing a bigger bodied receiver too. I'm just not a fan of Bowe (the guy most people seem to be mentioning), and think he could do more harm than good to the chemistry that the Colts have been developing. I don't mind the idea of Donario Alexander, but it scratches at the back of my head that there has to be some reason why he keeps finding himself out of a job when he clearly shows moments of brilliance.

The guy I wouldn't mind us looking at is Ramses Barden (6'-6", 224 lbs). He was a guy I wanted the Colts to consider as a 4th to 5th round gem in 2009, but the Giants grabbed him in the 3rd. I am hardly expert, but it seems like he excelled in his few chances. Unfortunately, he was largely stuck behind Cruz, Nicks and Hixon (and Manningham before he was allowed to walk).

If memory serves, he was given 1 opportunity to start this past season (a prime time game against Carolina, I think) and racked up a monster game. I could really see him as a great complementary addition in the land of the smurfs.

I didn't read your post just the title fr one reason . We are SET at WR .. I for one will be upset if we sign a high price FA WR instead of fixing the oline and defense .. Hilton , Wayne , brazil and Avery are fine . I'm sick of people saying we need dewayne Bowe or any number of other wideouts .what we need is an improved secondary and oline
  8. I would love for our OL to eventually look like the 49ers OL. That being said we need some talent brought in to do so...

I could very well see us bringing in OG Louis Vasquez from San Diego since he has ties to both Manusky and Hal Hunter who was the OL coach in 2012 there.

Then in the draft I want us to target either Chance Warmack if he falls to 15 overall and trade up a little to get him, or get another OG like Warford or Winters.

Having 2 great OGs would vastly improve our OL since Luck could not worry about the interior pocket colapsing, along with a much added boost to our running game. Our RT spot could be filled by either Reitz or Justice with Linkenbach providing depth.

Well if we want an online like the 49ers maybe we should invest their picks like they did . They have used three first round picks on their oline and t has paid off .
  9. That's endless excitement there....any of them QBs? are Moss and Sugar Ray on AARP yet...

    Michael Crabtree?

Now you're messing with me!!! I love it.

We got it you love qbs .. However some people don't h e to have a 35 38 point game to be interested . I for one love defence and think this game will be fun to watch regardless of the score
  10. We have Andrew Luck for the next 4 years at around 5 million per year. Here is an example of what some of the good teams are now facing....

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Total AccessMonday night that Joe Flacco intends to target more money than Peyton Manning in contract talks with the Ravens.

Per Rapoport, Flacco and the Ravens will resume negotiations immediately after the Super Bowl. "I'm told his camp believes he is playing better than Peyton Manning," Rapoport reported. "Manning makes ($19.2M) a year; expect them to shoot higher than that." The $20 million-per-year figure is clearly Flacco's goal. The Ravens ought to be kicking themselves for not locking up Flacco when his asking price was more reasonable late last offseason.

I didn't take this article clip seriously after I read flaco wants more then manning .. Not even close to te same caliber player .. One good seasons Dosent put you in league with one of the best qbs every .
  11. I think we'll add a CB through free agency, somebody like Cary Williams. He's not great but I think he would be a serious upgrade for us and give us another good CB to pair with Davis. The money Revis is rumored to want is ridiculous IMO, I've heard he wants around the 16 million a yr. range. I don't care if he's the best CB in the league or not he is not worth that type of money. IMO that type of money should be reserved for QB's and only QB's. If a team is willing to sink 20 some million dollars a yr. into the CB position, it will be awful hard to build a competitive all around team.

16 mil a year is qb only money ? Tell that to freeny
  12. 1. He's just not interested in going...Pro Bowl doesn't matter to him.

    2. I'd be fine doing away with it and just naming players to something similar to an All-American Team. That way, the players chosen get that honor and don't have to risk injury by playing in a meaningless game.

I think part of the problem is that the Pro Bowl in is Hawaii...who can afford to go there to see a game? The other major sports rotate to the cities with franchises and it becomes an event lasting 2-3 days. So, if you keep the game, then play it in NFL cities and add events for the fans and some skill competitions. I know everyone is excited about Luck making it to the Pro Bowl, but he's only there because a player chosen has decided not to go, which is the case for many other players who are now going under those circumstances. Kinda takes the shine off of it for me.

Your point 3 is redundant .. These people make millions a year .
  13. Yikes, I was into and agreeing with everything you said right up until this point. How can you say that RGIII shouldn't even be in consideration? He has had a phenomenal rookie year, with 3200 yards passing and 826 yards rushing, totaling 4026 total yards. He has a 4:1 TD to interception ratio passing, and threw up 7 more touchdowns on the ground as well. This was with missing a game as well, his numbers would have been much higher, but I'll also point out that missing a game is a durability issue which should also be taken into account for stuff like this.

You're also forgetting about Alfred Morris who just set the Redskins single season rushing record with over 1600 yards and double digit touchdowns. Hes had an amazing year along with Griffin and should be in consideration for the award, although they will obviously go with a Quarterback, he still needs to be mentioned in conversation because he was terrific this year.

    Robert Griffin

    Passing: 3,200 yards | 20 TD | 5 INT | 3 FUM | 65.6% Completion

    Rushing: 826 Yards | 7 TD | | 9 FUM | 6.9 Yard Avg

    Andrew Luck

    Passing: 4,376 Yards | 23 TD | 18 INT | 9 FUM | 54.1% Completion

    Rushing: 255 Yards | 5 TD | | 1 FUM | 4.1 Yard Avg

    Russel Wilson

    Passing: 3,118 Yards | 26 TD | 10 INT | 3 FUM | 64.1% Completion

    Rushing: 489 Yards | 4 TD | | 2 FUM | 5.2 Yard Avg

    Alfred Morris

    Rushing: 1,613 Yards | 13 TD | 4 FUM | 4.8 Yard Avg

    Receiving: 77 Yards | 0 TD | 0 FUM | 7.0 Yard Avg

They can all make a good case for winning it, I don't remember a rookie class ever being this good ha

Let's see the only stat that matters . The W/L colum .. Only one I care about as a fan you argue completion % yard and turnovers all you want.
  14. Not as true as you would think. While, yes, Seattle does have a very physical and talented defense, they spend a lot of time playing Cover-1 and single high safety, often with Kam Chancellor 25 yards off the line of scrimmage. Griffin has one of the highest QB ratings in the NFL against single high safety, so Seattle will definitely have to play outside its cover zone if it wants to defend the pass well enough to win.

We're did you get this "QBR" from ? I would just like to know
