How much willie cost Donnie Avery to get #17 from Austin Collie? Does he want the number or does he just want to change the domain name on his website?
When Eli was drafted by the Giants he bought #10 off of Punter Jeff Feagles but not for cash. He paid for an all expenses paid trip to Florida for his family. Then when Plaxico came in, he wanted Feagles new number of 17 and bought that off of him for an outdoor kitchen. (now that I am doing research to get my facts straight it seems the Plax never held up his end of the bargain)

It would be nice if it was like Matt Ryan's first pass in the NFL...
But i think it will be a screen to Donald Brown for a one yard gain.
-
cause he's a running back
Does that mean you think Carter and Brown can handle the load?

The whole insider thing is such a pain in the butt!
Why not , if available at #34, draft a RB Doug Martin. They say he is a Ray Rice type running back and Pagano might like to have that potential again at the RB position.

depends if I am single, married and/or a father
If I was single I would go to the best "Gentlemen's Club" and treat my best friends and myself all night.
If I was dating... I most likely would dump her unless she is ungodly hot to begin with. With all that money I never understood why anyone gets married just to give them half when they want out.
I would most likely buy land and build on it. Build a new home for my parents and treat them for all the crap I out them through over the years.
I then after that make sure I have a financial advisor and get everything in order... That would be the first two months of signing the new deal. After that I most likely would stick to my roots and just keep to myself at home with my personal chef and trainer and the ladies that want to be with me (for my money).

I actually thought that the comments were a lot more harsh than what they were after hearing the audio.
I just wonder how this will change things going forward. Yeah one guy (team) got caught but I don't think, no matter what Goodell does, that this will stop teams from putting "bounties" on players. It just also goes to show that in the modern age that no matter where you go or what you do... you are being watched, recorded or listened to by something or someone. Take a moment to look around during a day and look at everything that is monitoring you. This would have never gotten out 10 years ago, heck maybe not even 5 years ago.
Just glad nobody got seriously hurt and this didn't affect anyone's career and livelihood.

Al had Dilfer throw to him. Garcon is going to be in a better shape with Luck or RGIII.
NO WAY.. Grossman is a beast and he will win the starting job over RG3... :redskins:

Best in the NFL not from the list above....
it has to be (IMO)
1. Drew Brees
2. Matt Ryan
3. Matthew Stafford
4. Philip Rivers
5. Jay Cutler

I am not seeing too many changes to the uniforms from Reebok to Nike. Almost all teams are basically keeping the same look.
The only things I see different are the Giants and Buccaneers are adding new stripes to the pant legs and the I think Buffalo added a logo to the pant leg. Looks like the Jags added a little gray to the pant legs. The only team that has really made changes is the Seahawks... name on the front and the emblems on the legs.
Good to see things are staying the same, even though they have "changed." Thanks Nike for the increase in replica jerseys prices.

Kelly Gregg is a joke. I don't think he would help us other than to fill out a uniform. AND boy can he fill out a uniform!

it is all speculation... we only know one thing and that is we WILL be getting a new QB with the #1 pick.
it would be amazing to get Luck, Fleener and James... now that is a lot of young talent!

i died a little inside seeing those images.

#28 Stevie Brown, DB, 5-11, 215lbs, 24 years old, 2 year man from University of Michigan
was this off the top of your head or did you look it up?
-
Looks more modern, but not necessarily better
definitely not better

Just looks like they married the old and the new.
Muted the colors. Now the 12th man has to go out and buy new gear.

I have been to Baltimore twice and I was not taunted or belittled for wearing my Colts jersey to the stadium both times I went to watch the Colts play.
I asked a fan as we tailgated with them "Am I going to get my butt kicked by wearing this (jersey)" and he told me "You're alright, we have a ring now so we're not too hostile about it anymore." The consensus is that most Baltimore fans are more angry with the Irsay family than the Colts fans.
I have also been to Philadelphia (the day Collie got knocked out of the game) two seasons ago. The fans in Philly are the most classless fans I have ever seen. We had a few guys tell us that we would be okay. Just don't over celebrate and it would be okay. Well it took the drunks until the 3rd quarter to figure it out that we were Colts fans and then the drunken taunts started. I had with me (at the time) my nine year old, with CP that loves the Colts and his favorite player was and still is Austin Collie. He had to endure the entrance of the players and the entire stadium yelled "SUCK" whenever a player was announced and that upset him. Then he had to see Austin get injured and carried out on a stretcher. Then of all things as the drunks started taunting him. They saw that every comment they made made him upset and they were saying things to get him even more upset. One butt was over top of my step son and was yelling at the top of his lungs that the Colts Suck and after any negative play he would stand up and yell directly down at him.
I was out numbered and with a child and a woman with me I had no backup so I had to just endure it and help the kid get through it. It was a horrible encounter I never recommend going to an Eagles game unless you are an Eagles fan or you can and are ready to back it up if you argue with one. These guys stick together and are drunk and ready to fight with anyone not wearing Eagles colors.

Will the USFL be a place for young talent or just where has beens and never was's will play?
-
I consider myself a pretty much a hard core Colts fan and I usually know all the players names and numbers.. but this guy doesn't even ring a bell for me.
-
The only thing I would really like is maybe a little horseshoe under the NFL shield on the front of the jersey or maybe one above the name on the back of the jersey like the Cardinals jerseys.
Sometimes I look at my jersey and it seems real plain. I am used to that growing upon Pennsylvania. I mean we have the most boring, yet classic uniforms in the state at PSU.

Former NFL QB Ryan Leaf was arrested for the second time Monday, April 2, on charges of burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He also is being detained on a probation violation. The new charges stem from a burglary Saturday, March 31 - the day after Leaf was arrested and charged with burglarizing an acquaintance's home for prescription painkillers.
What is he thinking? Burglarizing an acquaintance's home? Sounds like someone has hit rock bottom... at least I hope he has because if he goes any lower we will get a posting about how Ryan Leaf is dead from an overdose and that is just sad.

so I am looking around and searching.. it doesn't appear that any images leaked out to the public a day early. Did anyone else look around and find anything?
I would like to see some more gray integrated into the uniforms so we might have a gray alternate uniform.

Braylon Edwards is the same as Peirre Garcon. He seems to drop the easy catches but thrones that are very hard he can reel them in.
Not sure if Edwards has endured enough humility to accept a lower tier contract though. If we can get him cheap he would be a worthy addition to the team and then we can wait on drafting a WR in next year's draft.
-
Veteran leadership and a hard nosed football player. If he comes cheap and he would agree to a one year deal I say why not.

fast... who cares... all I care about are his hands and if they can become suction cups and gather everything thrown to him.

SO... does that mean they will not put a bid in to host another Super Bowl again any time soon?
