With Pierre gone and if Gonzo can stay healthy (and that is the key) he will be an offensive threat. #11 is a solid WR an he can fill in nicely on the opposite side of Reggie. Keep Austin in the slot and Gonzo and Reggie at the wides.
Re-Sign Gonzo and I am sure you the Colts can sep him for a minimal amount of cash. He has something to prove and he is a good player. Just look at the stats from his previous season when he was healthy.

Most likely he will continue to look like a surfer and stay in the state of Indiana... really a surfer in Indiana? Am I the only one who thought that looked odd?

I became a Colts fan when Marshall Faulk was drafted. Being a fan of any team has it's ups and down and we have been on the up for quite a while now. It sucks that reality has to slap us in the face and we have to take some lumps for a few years but all in all I think we will be fine.
We had Harbaugh he got us to the playoffs and he was let go for Peyton Manning.. a college kid. We are winning why do this?
We had Marshall Faulk, the best RB in the league but we let him go for a kid in college, Edgerrin James. That worked out well, of course losing him for Addai was never high on my list
A number of things have been done to this tea over the years and we as fans have moved on. We will be okay and we just need to stay positive and cheer on our Colts... even though a lot of faces are new.
I voted and I am excited.. but scared, but I couldn't vote twice.

So the skins now have Anthony Armstrong, Jabar Gaffney, Santana Moss, Josh Morgan, Pierre Garcon, Eddie Royal & Leonard Hankerson. That is a loaded bunch but is anyone other than Moss a #1?
Moss has been the downfield threat for a while now so with the addition of Pierre it might make Moss' days numbered and if that happens they are back to square one and no real standout (on paper) as a #1 threat. It appears that they are looking at the Al Davis school of WR's.... get em fast so you can overthrow them.
Redskins have made many mistakes in the past and I feel that this is not an off year for them. Good luck PG! You are going to need it!

Carlson has great hands and he might have been the best receiver on a very bad Seahawks team. He would definitely be an upgrade at TE over Jacob Tamme.

I just don't know what to think after hearing all the talk about Peyton meeting with the Titans. I heard today that he is planning a second meeting today. Now that is not good to hear that a second meeting is in place. He would be reunited with some Colts players that have defected and went to Tennessee and be back where he went to college but if he does chose the Titans is it anything but a chance to be like Brett Favre and stick it to the owner?
The Colts would have to face him twice a year and that would leave Irsay seeing his mistake in letting him go most likely burn him twice a year until Andrew Luck gets the hang of things.

All the analysts can say whatever they want about where he is gonna land. He has to pass a physical to join the team. But if/when he gets healthy I think he still has the potential to be the best QB in the game again, as long as the new coach lets Peyton be Peyton and not a guy who has to listen to the coach and not deviate from the scripted offense.

I think when he gets into the hall they will enshrine him with a statue. We have to wait until his career is over to get to see Peyton in front of Lucas Oil set in stone.

If #4's career is over it would be fitting for the Colts to trade him to the Pats for $1 so he can retire a Patriot.

I was thinking Hughes was going to emerge as a beast and we would have had a third DE that was hard to handle for opposing offenses. He has yet to prove anything other than he can come in so others can get a breather or that he can play on special teams. I am not sure if it is lack of talent (it didn't seem that way when coming out of college), his work ethic or if it is just that the coaches haven't pushed him enough. With Freeney at the end of a contract this is the year he either steps up or most likely will be replaced.

What a trying week for those who are faithful Colts fans.
We have an eleven year old with Cerebral Palsy and emotional issues.who LOVES Austin Collie and of all things we were at the Philly game last season when he was knocked the edit out. The unruly fans, the score and his favorite player getting taken out on a cart was a lot for him to handle. I wasn't sure if it would get that hard again to explain to him the bad luck of the Colts.
He had to endure a lot of ridicule from the local team fans (Ravens, Eagles and Steelers - we are in south-central Pennsylvania) after they kept losing and losing without Peyton. I told him next year Peyton would be back and so would our Colts. Now, the Colts release Peyton for a potential Peyton 2.0 in Andrew Luck. I will keep my fingers crossed but I can't imagine and QB coming into the game with all the defensive schemes these days and being a top tier QB like it seems everyone is saying he will be. Only time will tell. But that is off my point. I had to tell him now we lost 5 more players and he is upset about Dallas Clark and so am I. He was my favorite Colt on offense next to the obvious Peyton Manning. He is taking it all very bad.
I have to explain to him what is going on and why it is going on. I just hope he can remain strong and remain a fan. I will be loyal. I bleed blue but I don't know If I will have my little buddy sitting next to me on Sundays any time soon to cheer on my Colts.
