Why is that? They have like 20 free agents or people that they've cut. The team that takes the field in 2014 will look nothing like the one that took the field in 2013 and had an "off" year according to you.
For starters they have a more efficient QB now, and no matter what moves a divisional team makes they always tend to compete with people within the division.

If you think Brandon Browner is "great" then you have low standards.
Browner is good because he sits back in a zone but he is able to come up and separate the ball from the player.
-
Does anyone think MJD would make a good return man?
He probably would but the real question is would he take return man type of money?
-
I agree with those rankings and most of your thoughts. Especially that we can beat anybody! Now that I'm out of the Billion Dollar Bracket...its back to this forum!
Dayton!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't teams usually go 4 deep in RB's ?
They sometimes do but that fourth rb or wr is delegated as a return man or gunner.... has to have some type of special team ability.
-
Yes, we need a new thread for every free agent! Where's the TO thread?
Boom beats out Ballard, my prediction.
No way boom beats out ballard who was the starter at the beginning of last season.
-
You don't "think"???
Let me clear it up, Hell no, we don't need to add another RB!
Yea I don't think we do but other people may think we do... That's why I said I don't.
-
They seem to have a lot of those.
Yea I just look for them to rebound, not saying they will win the AFC South though.
-
Patriots
Broncos
Bengals
Chargers
Colts
I think the Ravens are going to take the division from the Bengals..... They now have a legitimate go to receiver in Smith and Excellent Compliments in Marlon Brown and Torrey Smith.
-
My mistake, I took it that from your OP and your reply regarding you not seeing the Draft making much difference to Denver/NE that the focus was primarily on them.
Yea they are obviously the top teams but the entire AFC is up for discussion.
-
I think Houston could potentially give the Colts a run for their money, last year was just an off year for them in my opinion.
-
That thread is strictly about denver and new england whereas this one is taking all teams into consideration in the AFC.
-
I think it's a bit early to be making season predictions, let wait and see till at least after the draft.
I agree but I think those teams will be drafting for depth, so I don't see their line up changing much...
-
With all the moves Denver and New England made to toughen up their defense; how do think the Colts will fair in the AFC?
-
The only way I see us moving up in the first round is if a team wants to move out of the first round... Not sure with all the rules if it could be just a swap of picks or would there need to be two picks to move up in round one.
-
I don't think that we need another running back.... All of our current running backs has starting potential so I don't see a need to add another RB of that caliber to the mix.

colts trainers
Because it seems like they always have 20 players ending up on IR compared to other teams..... It could be I only pay attention to the colts roster that much but when i think about other teams like the pats or saints or seahawks you dont see many players that are out for an extended time with small ailments like you see with Colts players.

what are you basing that on?
the fact that he was injury prone or about the colts personal trainers?
-
toler wasn't that good last year when healthy let alone injured but he has one chance if he isn't better this season and play at least 11-12 games then he needs to be gone.
I agree, it was known that he was injury prone when he was signed. However I always thought the Colts personal trainers was kind of suspect.

Good news but he is about to go through some stuff.... detoxing is about to test him big time.
-
They probably want a 1st or 2nd rounder for him and if that's the case not worth it.
Yeah you dont spend a 1 or 2 unless u know that player can come in and contribute right away.... They learned that from the TRICH trade but I think TRICH will workout when he gets a full offseason under his belt with the colts.
-
I for one think TR will have a far better season that last year. It was well noted that he was thrust into the starting role without being ready. He didnt know running lanes, who to follow on certain play nor did he really have time to bury himself in the playbook. He basically had to rely on getting the ball and just running.
D. Manning, anyone?

Would you expect anything less? its not like we couldnt use a safety.
