Yeah, because you can't do that and sign Bradshaw at the same time. Everyone knows you're only allowed 1 roster move/lineup change per week.
I didnt know you could shuffle your line up as you please lol Im pretty sure you can start who you want when you want lol

Mewhort can barely run block either, They need to put Reitz in at LG but apparently have decided having him as our first O Lineman off the bench is better then protecting our star QB
Mewhort is better at guard that Tackle.

Well, Bradshaw is on the free agent market, but guards who can pass block aren't.
So the answer is to get another RB that wont be able to run??? They need Mewhort at guard and reitz at right tackle.. Get louise out of there...

Ancient Andre just can't seem to get open much anymore...not a good signing...and he is taking reps away from the development of the younger WRs.....even Griff is probably a better possession receiver.
I saw him open plenty of times last night but with Luck having to get rid of the ball EARLY and making bad reads how can he catch the ball.. On a key 3rd down when vinny missed the field goal andre was open for the first but luck threw to TY.

We dont need bradshaw.... We need Guards that can pass block... Luck is always looking for the deep ball... Last night Andre was open for the first down and he threw the ball to TY in the end zone.

of course not. He was promoted for depth. We have some healthy depth that is ahead of him on the depth chart I was simply pointing out that there isn't really another option except promote from the practice squad to fill depth.
Good but price is not the answer either. I just hope Toler and Butler plays this week.

So Im sitting here looking at the FA cornerback market and a particular name pops up to me like a sore thumb, Not a huge name but a bit of a known name. This dude has had legal troubles since entering the NFL....Felony Assault on a police officer in 2013, DUI 3 months later that same year, This guy can play press man coverage and has not gotten into trouble that I have read since 2013.......So somebody talk me out of Alfonzo Dennard of being able to come in and compete
Everyone seem to have been in some trouble.. But dont look for the colts to sign him... They only want the good boys.

Yeah lets just go down to the free agent superstore. I'm sure we can find an unsigned quality cornerback who can learn our system in 3 days.
If you think this guy is going to get meaningful playing time this week then you are mistaken... there is a reason this guy was on the practice squad and not the original 53... my guess is price will take smiths role

I dont think DQ is the problem. ALL the miss tackles Freeman had is the problem.

I think you should compare offense to defense since no two offenses or defenses go against each other. No matter what the Colts made it to that game with those same players and the game shouldve been closer.

I say Nate Irving or Sio will be starting by week 4 or 5 but i hope its not that long

I think its time to move J Freeman to backup and start Nate Irving... Sio doesnt know enough of the schemes to start yet. I also think clayton starts at safety soon maybe 4 games in.

I remember having quite a few issues with slow starts when Arians was here (Green Bay game?). Also, zero playoff wins with Arians calling the plays.
When arians was there that was a very young team.. Actually rebuilding and didnt have experience. Since pep came in EVERY colts game start off slow... even against lesser opponents.

Arians play calling would have eventually got Luck on IR just like all of his QBs do.
I dont think Ben ended up on IR... only QB that ended up on IR was Carson Palmer

I think the receivers were tired from running routes all game. Most receivers use the run games as an "off" play to catch their wind but seeing how little the Colts ran the ball our receivers never really got a break.

I still blame PEP... didnt have any problems when bruce was calling plays as OC... offense went dry when pep came in.

In the draft? Not really except for this past draft with Smith, Anderson, Parry, Geathers, and Herrera.
But in FA he also brought in Cory Redding, who was good for a few seasons. Not to mention Walden has outplayed his contract.
Cant really count this draft yet.. however, anderson and parry looks great. I expect geathers take over at saftey soon... Havent seen enough from smith and herrera was a preseason stud but still didnt make the roster so I dont know what to think of that...
