  1. Great in by the Colts in Miami today winning there 18-12. But the Texans also defeated the Titans in Nashville 34-6, Looks like it will take the final week of the regular season for the Colts fate for both the postseason, and the AFC South title. Let's all enjoy this win the rest of this week, before the regular season finale, as our Colts host the Tennessee Titans at LOS. In the meantime, enjoy your week. Happy New Year everybody, and GO COLTS!!!!!

  2. Hi, Colts Nation!     :)  Our 6-8  Indianapolis Colts  move on from their disappointing home loss last Sunday to the Houston Texans, as they are in South Florida,  to play the 5-9, and last place Miami Dolphins, in  regular season road game there for the first time in more than six seasons.  Colts and Dolphins are playing in their 73rd all-time meeting this afternoon, including two postseason games

Colts were on a four-game regular season winning streak over the Dolphins dating back in games in 2003, 2006. 2009, and 2012, before Miami won the last meeting played at Indianapolis more than two years ago..  Dolphins tight end Charles Clay broke a 20-17 Colts lead with 4:40 remaining in the fourth quarter. And along with Caleb Sturgis's PAT, helped the Miami win 24-20 at the real LOS, back on September 15, 2013.

Dolphins lead the all-time regular season series,  with 47 wins over 25 losses, and Miami has also outscored Indianapolis in the previous 72 games with 1627 points, over the Colts 1230 points.

A mix of mostly cloudy and clear skies at 82 degrees, feels like 87 degrees, is the game forecast inside Sun Life Stadium in Opa-Locka, Florida, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 10% precipitation, 68% humidity, and east/southeastern winds at 17 miles per hour.

Colts are wearing their white helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants with blue trim, while the Dolphins are wearing their white helmets, jerseys, and pants, with aqua and orange trim.

I also want to wish all the registered members, users, moderators, and guests here on the Official Indianapolis Colts Online Fan Forum Message Board, a Happy New Year, with your families, close relatives, and friends.  :)

  4. Welcome Blue Horseshoe Nation!  :)  Houston Texans visit Indianapolis for the divisional rematch  at the real LOS this Sunday afternoon, in the 28th all-time regular season meeting between the teams.

Both the Colts and the Texans are tied  at 6-7, but a win today would both not only even  the Colts record at 7-7, but also be up a game, and alone in first place in the AFC South Division, and also sweep the home and home series with the Texans.

Houston has yet to win a regular season game in Indianapolis since the Texans entered the NFL back in 2002, and is 0-13 at Lucas Oil Stadium.  Texans record over the Colts is 10-4 at NRG Stadium.   Indianapolis by far leads Houston with the best record over an NFL, and divisional opponent with 23 wins, and 4 losses.

Colts backup, and veteran QB Matt Hasselbeck will make his seventh start this season for the Colts in relief for incumbent Andrew Luck, and already has a 5-1 record as the starter heading into today.

Current Colts wide receiver Andre Johnson will also face his former team for the second time this season. AJ scored the game-winning touchdown with a 2-yard pass reception from Matt Hasselbeck, in the earlier meeting at Houston this season, to win 27-20 at  New Radiancy Group Stadium back  on Thursday Night Football back on October 8.

Lucas Oil Stadium's roof should be closed for this afternoon's 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because partly cloudy skies at 45 degrees, feels like 38 degrees, is the game forecast outside, along with 0% precipitation, 54% humidity, and southern winds at 11 miles per hour.

I would also like to wish all the registered users, members,  and moderators here not only at the Colts Game Day Thread, but the entire Official Colts Fan Message Board Forum a Merry Christmas to you, your close family and friends!

NO injuries, protect your field, sweep the Texans so can also even your record at 7-7,  and lead the AFC South Division to yourself by one game outright before the Christmas holiday, and GO COLTS!!!!!   :coltslogo:    :coltshelmet:    :coltslogo:

  6. Hi, Colts fans!  :)  Our 6-6 and AFC South Division leading Indianapolis Colts are in Jacksonville, Florida to play the Jaguars in the rematch this season, in today's 30th all-time regular season meeting,  Colts won the earlier meeting 16-13 in  the real Lucas Oil Stadium back in October 4.

On the line this afternoon is Indianapolis's 15-game divisional winning streak, as Veteran Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck is starting his first game as a Colts QB opposite an AFC South opponent since both Andrew Luck's injury, and since the Colts defeated the Houston Texans 27-20  on the road in Houston, during Thursday Night Football, since October 8.

Colts are also hoping the New England Patriots could try to defeat their Sunday Night Football game tonight at the Houston Texans, so Indianapolis could potentially be one game up in the AFC South standings after the Texans/Patriots game.

Colts also are on a six-game regular season winning streak over the Jaguars, beginning with their 27-10 win at Jacksonville back on November 8, 2012.  Colts have not lost to the Jaguars since their 22-17 home game defeat, back on September 23, 2012.

Indianapolis and Jacksonville met earlier this season  at the real Lucas Oil Stadium during Week 4 of the 2015 NFL regular  season back on October 4.  Jaguars has a 13-10 lead at halftime, but Colts veteran kicker Adam Vinetieri kicked to field goals, AV kicked a 32-yard FG with 2:28 left in the 4th quarter, then a 27-yarder 10:19 into overtime, to win 16-13.

Colts also leads the all-time regular season series, winning 21 and losing 8 of the games, a rivalry that began when the Colts defeated the Jaguars in Jacksonville's inaugural season, winning the first game 41-31, and played  at  then Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, back on December 10, 1995.  Colts also outscored the Jaguars in the previous 29 games 730 points, to the Jaguars 538 points.

Philadelphia Phillies lead TV and radio play-by-play broadcaster Tom McCarthy, and former Bears, Rams, NFL, and Arizona State Sun Devil defensive back Adam Archuleta, are announcing the live TV game commentary for the NFL On CBS's early regional single header game, seen primarily in Illinois, Indiana, and parts of Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky, including WTTV CBS Channel 4, live on HD.

Bob Lamey, our 'Voice Of The Colts,' and former Colts QB Jim Sorgi, are also announcing the live radio game play-by-play and analysis, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Matt Taylor, simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070AM, WLHK The Hank Country 98.1FM, and the Colts Vectren Radio Network,

A mix of partly cloudy and clear skies at 77 degrees is the game forecast inside EverBank Fields for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 0% precipitation, 65% humidity, and east/southeastern winds at 12 miles per hour.

Visting Colts are wearing their traditional white helmets, jerseys, and pants with blue trim, while the host Jaguars are wearing their black and gold helmets, and black jerseys and pants with gold trim.

NO injuries, and win to stay tied in first place, and keep your AFC South winning streak alive into 16 games and counting.  GO COLTS!!!!!   :coltslogo:    :coltshelmet:   :coltslogo:

  8. Hi, Colts Nation!  :)   A battle of 6-5 teams in prime time, as our Indianapolis Colts are in the international spotlight again this season, as they are in The Steel City to play the Pittsburgh Steelers for NBC's Sunday Night Football.  Colts will certainly avoid further embarassment from their last appearance on SNF when they lost to the New England Patriots by the score of 27-20 at LOS, back on October 18.

Our Colts are still tied in first place with the Houston Texans, but own the tiebreaker in this stage of the 2015 regular season, as Indianapolis defeated Houston 27-20 earlier on Thursday Night Football to win the tiebreaker.  Colts fans may root for the Buffalo Bills as they host the Texans earlier this Sunday afternoon, for a possible outright first place if Indianapolis defeats Pittsburgh tonight.

Colts are seeking both their first win, and first road win at Heinz Field in more than 7 years.  Following a  Steelers   17-14 lead  at halftime, Adam Vinetieri kicked a 36-yard field goal to tie the game at 17-17 in the third quarter.  After Jeff Reed kicked a 26-yard FG with 7:56 remaining in the fourth quarter, Peyton Manning threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Rhodes, with 3:14 remaining in the fourth quarter followed by Vinetieri's  PAT, to win 24-20 at Heinz Field back in November 9, 2008.

Steelers have since won the next two meetings, played home and home at Indianapolis and  Pittsburgh, the Steelers outscoring the Colts 74-54.  Steelers defeated the Colts 51-34 in their last visit and game played at Heinz Field, on Thursday Night Football back on October 26, 2014.

Pittsburgh though, leads the all-time series  with 21 wins and 6 losses.  Those 21 wins includes the 5-0 record in postseason games, and the Steelers have outscored the Colts 679 to 455 points in the previous 27 games.

Al Michaels and former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Cris Collinsworth are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with field/sideline reporter and interviewer Michele Tafoya for NBC's Sunday Night Football, televised internationally, including WTHR NBC Channel 13 in Indianapolis, live on HD.

Tonight's Colts-Steelers game is also being simulcasted with NBC's live network feed  on the internet through your computer, laptop, and mobile devices, beginning with the Football Night In America Pregame Show, beginning at 7:30PM Eastern Standard Time.

Bob Lamey. our 'Voice Of The Colts,' and former Colts QB Jim Sorgi, are announcing the live radio game play-by play and analysis, simulcasted on flagship stations WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070AM, and WLHK The Hank Country 98.1FM, and the Colts/Vectren Radio Networ.

Cloudy skies at 38 degrees, feels like 35 degrees, is the local game forecast inside Heinz Field for the 8:25PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 0% precipitation, 75% humidity, and very mild south/southwestern winds at 4 miles per hour.

Colts are wearing their white helmets, jerseys, and pants, with blue trim, while the host Steelers are wearing their black helmets and jerseys with gold trim, and gold pants.

NO injuries, try to win your sixth straight game for the Blue Horseshoe, play as One Pride, and GO COLTS!!!!!  :coltslogo::coltshelmet::coltslogo:

  10. Great win by our Indianapolis Colts this afternoon! Colts win 25-12 making their season record to 6-5. Today's Colts win over the Buccaneers is also their second three-game winning streak of their 2015 NFL regular season, since winning three straight over the Titans, Jaguars, and Texans, which were also their AFC South divisional opponents, and contributed their 15-0 undefeated divisional winning streak, this span from September 27 through October 8.

Our  Colts next travel to the Heinz Field to play the Pittsburgh Steelers. Steelers lost this afternoon to the Seahawks at Seattle 39-30.  Colts though may not see Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, who although he threw for 456 yards of Total Offense, the most the Seahawks defense has ever allowed, Roethlisberger left the game late in the fourth quarter on a concussion protocol.

Colts may likely see Landry Jones, with Michael Vick as his backup, as the Steelers QB next Sunday Night for NBC's SNF Football coverage.  Colts will seek to win at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh since Colts QB  Peyton Manning threw his 17-yard touchdown pass to Dominic Rhodes in the fourth quarter to win 24-20 in  their last visit to Heinz Field, back on November 9, 2008.

Colts though were routed in their last visit and meeting over the Steelers at Heinz Field just last season back on October 26, 2014.

Colts still barely lead the AFC South at 6-5. Texans also are 6-5 with their home win over the Saints 24-6, but the Colts own the tiebreaker at this time of the season with their 27-20 win on Thursday Night Football back on October 8.

But for now, Colts Nation, let's enjoy this win for the rest of this week while we can. See you here next Sunday, thanks all of you again for participating on the Colts Game Day Thread, and GO COLTS!!!!!   :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts:  :coltshelmet:  :blueshoe:  :coltslogo:  :D

  11. Thanks for coming back for NFL Game Day, Colts Nation!   :)     A battle of 5-5 teams this afternoon, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with #1 2015 Overall Draft Pick Jameis Winston,  make their  first  visit to the City Of Indianapolis, to pay a regular season game in eight seasons to play our AFC South Division leading  Colts. Buccaneers are also  the Colts last NFC South interdivisonal opponent  in the 2015 NFL regular season, and the Bucs are playing their first-ever road game at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building).

Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck is making his fourth start in relief of Andrew Luck, and already possesses a 3-0 record from their upset win at Atlanta last Sunday.

Both Indianapolis  and Tampa Bay are in their 13th all time regular season meeting, with the Colts leading the series 7 games to 5, and have also outscored the Bucs in the previous 12 games 311 points to 265 points.

Buccaneers RB LaGarette Blount's 35-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, broke a 17-17 tie in the third quarter, and was the game-winning score, for Tampa Bay's 24-17 win over Indianapolis in both teams last meeting, played  at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on Monday Night Football, back on October 3, 2011.

An undefeated and 5-0 Indianapolis Colts team defeated the 3-2 Buccaneers in Tampa Bay's last visit to Indianapolis in 2007. Peyton Manning thew two touchdowns passes, 10-yards to Dallas Clark, and 9-yards to Reggie Wayne. Colts RB Kenton Keith also added a 7-yard touchdown run, and Adam Vinetieri added both his two field goals from 27 and 35 yards, and his two PAT's,  to secure the Colts final score at 33-14, played at the RCA Dome, back on October, 7, 2007.

Richard Stockton and former NFL linebacker and current TV broadcaster Matt Millen, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Peter Schrager, are announcing the live TV game commentary, along for The NFL On FOX, seen primarily in Indiana and Florida, and locally on WXIN FOX Channel 59, live on HD.

Bob Lamey, our 'Voice Of The Colts,' and former Colts QB Jim Sorgi, are also announcing the live radio game play-by-play and analysis, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Matt Taylor, simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070AM, and WLHK The Hank Country 98.1FM, and the Colts/Vectren Radio Network.

LOS's roof will be closed, for this afternoon's 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because outside the stadium area in Downtown Indianapolis, will be a mix of partly cloudy and clear skies at 46 degrees, feels like 41 degrees, along with 0% precipitation, 55% humidity, and northeastern winds at 10 miles per hour.

Visiting Buccaneers are wearing their pewter helmets, white jerseys, and pewter pants, while the host Colts are wearing their traditional white helmets, blue jerseys, and white pants.

NO injuries, go over.500, and win your sixth straight, and stay both in the hunt in the AFC South and the NFL playoffs, and GO COLTS!!!!!   :cheer:  :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts:  :coltshelmet:  :blueshoe:  :coltslogo:  :cheer:  :D

  13. Great win by our Colts today! I admit before the game and after kickoff, I was not sure how if they can beat Atlanta, but the Colts pulled the upset. And AV's 43-yard field goal clinched the 24-21 win! Colts are now 5-5, and left the Falcons at 6-4. Colts next game is their last game of the season against an NFC South opponent, as Jameis Winston and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to LOS. But before that game, I would like to wish each and all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!!! Enjoy next weekend also. Thanks again to all of you for participating in the Colts @ Falcons Game Day Thread. We will see you back here so all of us can do it again as our Colts host the Buccaneers at the real LOS next Sunday, as they will try to win Game #6. In the meantime, enjoy your week, thanks for participating in the Colts Game Thread, Stay Colts Strong, and GO COLTS!!!!!
