  1. Hi, everybody! Colts matchup today with the visiting Chiefs is the best chance in Week 5 finally win their first game of the season in front of their home fans, and Curtis Painter's first win in his third start. Colts must win this game, as they are not scheduled to play a home game in the next month. Gametime from LOS at 1:05PM Eastern Time.

Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcotts will announce the game seen primarily in the midwest for the NFL ON CBS on HD, including WISH CBS 8 in Indianapolis. Bob Lamey, our 'Voice Of The Colts,' Wil Wolford, and sideline reporter Kevin Lee will also provide live radio game coverage simulcast on both WFNI ESPN Sportsradio 1070AM, and WHNK Country 98.1FM, and the Colts Radio Network.

  2. Hi, Colts fans! Veteran backup QB Curtis Painter earns his first career start, as the Colts are in Tampa Bay to play the Buccaneers for the first time in eight years. Colts are trying to avoid an 0-4 start this season, and are also making their second appearance in primetime national television in as many weeks, tonight on ESPN's Monday Night Football.

Colts return to Tampa where, through Peyton Manning's leadership, set the NFL record for quickest comeback in NFL history, scoring three touchdowns within the last five minuites of regulation, and winning in overtime 38-35 with Mike Vanderjagt's FG back on October 6, 2003. Both the Colts and Buccaneers are meeting for the 12th time during the NFL regular season tonight, with the Colts leading the all-time series 7-4, and 3-2 in Tampa.

Colts also defeated the Buccaneers in their recent meeting three years ago at the RCA Dome 33-14 back on October 7, 2007, despite Marvin Harrison and Joseph Addai not playing due to their injuries.

Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden, and Ron Jaworski will announce the live TV game commentary along with sideline reporter Wendi Nix for ESPN's Monday Night Football on HD. Bob Lamey, Wil Wolford, will also announce the live radio game commentary along with sideline reporter Kevin Lee simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN Radio 1070AM and WHNK Country 98.1FM, and the Colts Radio Network.

Local weather forecast at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa for tonight's 8:30PM kickoff is clear evening skies at 78 degrees, feels like 76 degrees, 0% precipitiation, 53% humidity, and mild northern winds at 8 miles per hour.

Visiting Colts tonight may wear their matching white road jerseys and pants, while the host Buccaneers will wear their red home jerseys, and pewter pants.

All NFL teams, including both the Colts and Buccaneers tonight, are wearing pink NFL equipment and apparel throughout thr month of October both on the field, and in their sidelines during tonight's game, to traditionally recognize the NFL's support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I wish the Colts no injuries, and execute their game plan successfully on offense, defense, and special teams. Please prevail for your first win for yourselves, and your fans back in Indiana, and GO COLTS!!!!!

  4. Hi, everybody! Both the Colts and Browns are coming off frustrating losses, but perhaps an extra week of practice and learning the Colts system will help Kerry Collins breed his veteran leadership and experience, and more opportunities to come out of the pocket as he and the Colts play the home opener with the Browns. Colts defense also has to improve on their run defense and contain the Browns offense, especially Peyton Hillis.

Veteran broadcaster Marv Albert and Rich Gannon will announce the game commentary for the NFL ON CBS, with the Colts/Browns game seen mostly in the Midwest, and locally on WISH CBS 8 on HD. . WFNI ESPN 1070 and WHNK 98.1FM will also broadcast the game with Bob Lamey, Wil Wolford announcing the play-by-play and analysis, along with sideline reporter Kevin Lee.

I wish no injuries as the Colts try to win their first game in front of their home crowd at LOS. GO COLTS!!!!!

  5. Hi, and welcome to Opening Week of the 2011 regular season with our Indianapolis Colts! Colts begin their journey to defend the AFC South Division title, and will also try to earn home field advantage throughout the AFC Playoffs later to earn an opportunity to play Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis next February 5.

Colts are depending on veteran Kerry Collins, who will be the first QB to start for the Colts today other than Peyton Manning since Jim Harbaugh started back in December 1997. Peyton is still recovering from his neck injury, and unfortunately his 208 game regular season consecutive game starts (227 games including playoffs) will end. Colts offense must also contend to the 3-4 defense by veteran coach Wade Phillips.

Colts defeated the Texans at LOS 30-17 on November 1, 2010, but lost in their last visit to Houston, with the Texans winning 34-24. Colts lead the All-Time Regular Season Series 16-2, but this year's Texans appear to be a much improved team, especially with the hiring of veteran coach Wade Phillips to lead his 3-4 defense, and veteran QB Matt Schaub.

Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf will announce the live TV commentary for the NFL On CBS regionally in portions of Indiana, Illinois, and Texas, including WISH CBS 8 in Indianapolis in HD.

Bill Lamey, our 'Voice Of The Colts,' and Wil Wolford, will also announce the live TV game commentary along with sideline reporter Kevin Lee simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN Radio 1070, and WHNK 98.1 FM, and the Colts Radio Network.

Colts will dress in their matching white jerseys and pants, while the Texans will wear their home blue jerseys, and white pants on the field.

Reliant's Stadium's roof in Houston should be closed, with a controlled climate at 70 degrees inside, from the local subtropical weather outside for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff because outside the forecast is Sunny and Clear Skies at 91 degrees, feels like 93 degrees, 0% precipitation, 38% humidity, and very mild southwest winds at 5 miles per hour.

NFL teams and the media coincidentally may remind us what occured in America ten years ago today.

I wish no injuries, and mininum penalties and turnovers. Play safely, and GO COLTS!!!!!

  6. Hi, Colts fans! Colts move on from their preseason road loss to the Rams as they conclude their training camp after more than two weeks at Anderson College, and host the visiting Washington Redskins. Colts continue to develop their veterans, rookies and free agents for the upcoming 2011 regular season. Lance Painter will again start for the Colts as well as Dan Orlovsky will both share the majority of the playing time at QB in Peyton Manning's absence. Gametime and kickoff from LOS is right after 7:00PM, Eastern Standard Time.

Redskins unfortunately defeated the Colts in their last NFL preseason meeting during the Pro Football Hall Of Fame Game in Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio back on August 3, 2008. Colts though defeated the Redskins 27-24 in their last meeting during the NFL regulat season 30-16 on Sunday Night back on October 17, 2010.

WNDY MyNwetworkTV 23 will televise the game live in Indianapolis with Don Fischer and Mark Hermann announcing the TV game commentary along with sideline reporter Jeffery Gorman. Bob Lamey and Wil Wolford along with sideline reporter will also announce the Colts radio game coverage simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN Sportsradio 1070AM and WLHK Country 98.1FM, and the Colts Radio Network.

NFL Network will also replay the Colts/Redskins preseason game this Sunday afternoon at 4:00PM, on Wednesday Night, 8/24, at 8:00PM.

Jim Irsay and the Colts also pledge support to last weekends tragic accident of the fallen stage from last weekend's Indiana State Fair by donating throught each ticket sold, and through texting, and social networking during tonight's Colts/Redskins game.

I wish the Colts players no injuries as they all continue to earn themselves into the upcoming 53-man regular season roster. GO COLTS!!!!!

  7. HI, and welcome back to Colts football everybody! Colts are coming where they left off from their abrupt First-Round home loss tot the New York Jets last January. Colts travel west across Interstate 70 to play the St. Louis Rams in the first preseason game of 2011, and even their preseason series, with the Rams winning the only other preseason meeting 19-17 more than five years ago at on August 10, 2006, also at the Edwards Jones Dome. Peyton Manning is still recovering from his neck surgery in May, so Lance Painter is expected to start at QB for the Colts tonight., Gametime and kickoff from the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis is scheduled right after 8:00PM, Eastern Standard Time.

Indiana Hoosier broadcaster Don Fischer and former Purdue and NFL QB Mark Herrmann will announce the live TV game commentary and analysis along with sideline reporter Jeffery Gorman on WDNY 23 in Indianapolis, WTHI CBS 10 in Terre Haute, and the Colts Preseason Television Network. Our 'Voice Of The Colts,' Bob Lamey, along Wil Wolford, and sideline reporter Kevin Lee, also announce the live radio game play-by-play and analysis simulcast on Colts flagship stations WFNI ESPN Sportsradio 1070AM, and WLHK Country 98.1FM, and the Colts Radio Network.

Not only will the Colts begin their journey to hopefully host their first Super Bowl in Indianapolis in less than six months for Super Bowl XVLI (46), but also we also acknowledge and recognize the 40th anniversary of the Irsay family with their ownership of the Colts.

Veteran Colts players are expected to play the first few series of tonight's game, before newly signed veterans, free agents, and rookies also play on the field during the course of the game to earn themselves into the 53-man regular season roster.

I wish the Colts no injuries, and minimum penalties and turnovers as they play the Rams tonight. GO COLTS!!!!!
