  1. Hi, Colts Nation!   :)  Our  4-5 and AFC South division leading Indianapolis Colts are coming from a scheduled and well-deserved and timed bye week from the long 2015 NFL regular season, and will try to maintain their lead in the AFC South Division as they visit the Atlanta Falcons to play a regular season game there for the first time in 2007.

Rod Chudzinski is in his second game as the Colts offensive coordinator since relieving Pep Hamilton, and will also try to help and apply the West Coast Offense in  Matt Hasselbeck's third start as the Colt's starting QB.

Andrew Luck did travel to be involved with the team in Atlanta, but is projected to return to game action by December 27, as he is on active rehabilitation from his lacerated kidney and his torn abdominal muscle.

Colts will try to perform better on the field against the Falcons, than their last meeting played at LOS.  Jerraud Powers 6-yard interception return, and  Adam Vinitieri's PAT, was the only Colt's scoring for their 31-7 loss to Atlanta back on November 6, 2011.  Falcons QB Matt Ryan outplayed our Colts by throwing 3 touchdown passes, 1-yard to Tony Gonzalez, and two long TD's from 50 yards, and 80 yards to Julio Jones. Michael Turner also added a 1-yard TD run for Atlanta, and Matt Bryant kicked a 20-yard FG in the fourth quarter, along with his four PAT's.

Indianapolis however, defeated Atlanta in their last visit to the Georgia Dome back on November 22, 2007. Colts QB Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes, 23-yards to WR Reggie Wayne, 8-yards to WR Dallas Clark,  and 5-yards to TE Ben Utecht. Joseph Addai also added a 4-yard rushing TD, and Adam Vinatieri added his 24-yard field goal, along with his four PAT's to secre their 31-13 win, back on November 22, 2007.

Indianapolis leads the all-time regular season series over Atlanta, with their record of 13 wins and 2 losses after 15 meetings. Colts/Falcons rivalry started  then Baltimore Colts defeated the Atlanta Falcons 19-7 in both teams first-ever regular season meeting in the Falcons inaugural season in the NFL. Colts also outscored the Falcons 408 points to 230 points after the 15 previous meetings.

Colts also won the first 10 games of the series over the Falcons before Atlanta finally won their first game in Indianapolis in 1998.  Falcons QB Chris Chandler threw a 2-yard TD pass to Terrance Mathis to break up a 21-21 tie in the third quarter, and it held as the only score in the second half, as the 11-2 Falcons edged the 2-11 Colts  in the Hoosier Dome back on December 6, 1998.

Greg Gumbel, and former NFL QB Trent Green are announcing the live TV game commentary for the NFL On CBS's early regional single header game, televised regionally, and locally on WTTV CBS Channel 4, live on HD.

Bob Lamey, our 'Voice Of The Colts,' and former Colts, N.Y. Giants, and Wisconsin Badger QB Jim Sorgi, also with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Matt Taylorare also announcing the live radio game play-by-play and analysis, simulcast on flagship stations  WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070AM, and WLHK Hank 97.1FM, and the Colts/Vectren Radio Network.

Visiting Colts are wearing their white helmets, jerseys, and pants, while the host Falcons are wearing their black helmets, red jerseys, and white pants.

Although the game is being played comfortably indoors in the Georgia Dome, Sunny and clear skies at 46 degrees, feels like 39 degrees, is the game forecast outside the stadium area in Downtown Atlanta, along with 0% precipitation, 48% humidity, and northwestern winds at 15 miles per hour, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff.

Both the Colts and the Falcons players, their coaching and team support staffs, along with the rest of the NFL teams, may continue to voluntarily wear authentic NFL camoflage designed team apparel, both on the playing field, and in their sidelinesto support both support the NFL's 'Salute To Service' campaign to recognize our US military personnel, active and retired, as we also recognize Military Appreciation Month throughout November.

  2. Hi, Colts Nation!   :)   A battle of divisional opponents tonight as the 2-7 Tennessee Titans travel southeast to Jacksonville, Florida  to play the Jacksonville Jaguars, on prime time for The NFL Network's Thursday Night Football, as both teams will impact the AFC South standings.

If the Titans win, they will tie the Jaguars with a 3-7 record, but will own the tiebreaker with their victory and be in third place.  If the Jaguars win. their record will be 4-6, and be in third place, while the Titans would be in last place in the AFC South standings.

Both teams are also introducing their new Nike 'Color Rush' game uniforms.  Titans will wear their light blue uniforms, while the Jaguars are wearing their solid gold uniforms on the field tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms along with cloudy skies is the game forecast for the 8:25PM kickoff.  NO injuries, and GO AFC South!   :fb:

  3. Hi, Colts fans!   :)  Greg Gumbel and  former Rams, Chiefs, and NFL Trent Green, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Jamie Ehrdahl, are announcing the live TV game commentary for the Colts @ Falcons early regional single header game for The NFL On CBS, seen in the Midwest and Southern USA region, and locally on WTTV CBS Channel 4, live on HD.    :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts:  :coltshelmet:  :blueshoe:  :coltshorse:  :coltslogo:   :D

WXIN FOX Channel 59 is also televising both the Redskins @ Panthers, and Packers @ Vikings, early and late, primarily double header games on The NFL On FOX,  all games seen live on HD.    :fb:

  4. Texans were lucky , pulling out a road win on MNF at Cincy.  Their defense caught the pass completion and fumble from the Bengals, and won 10-6.  :fb:

True, both the Colts and Texans at the moment are tied for first place in the AFC South. But asI stated earlier,  the Colts own the tie braker because the Colts defeated the Texans at Houston 27-20 during Thursday Night Football back on October 8.   :coltslogo:  :coltshelmet:  :colts:  :1colts:  :coltslogo:

  5. Manning's well being is paramount he takes care of himself. The Bears game is finally Osweillers time to start a regular season game, and has spent so much time waiting on the sidelines because Peyton is a seasoned veteran and very talented. Will Osweiler be the next Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck, or bump up the roster from a current veteran like Colin Kaepernick and Tom Brady did to Alex Smith and Drew Bledsoe? This is your chance to shine as a starter, and show to your Broncos teammates and fans what you got and can do on the field, Mr. Osweiler.

  6. Hi, Colts fans!   :)   I felt I should post tonight's  Monday Night Football game between  the Texans and Bengals because the Houston Texans is one of our divisional rivals, and the outcome may impact the AFC South standings.

Our Colts currently have a record of 4-5 while the Texans are 3-5 prior to tonight. If The Texans win, both the Colts and Texans would be tied in first place at 4-5, but the Colts own the tie breaker by their earlier head-to-head win this season from Houston. If the undefeated and 8-0 Bengals win, Colts would lead the Texans by one game, heading into Week 11 of the season next weekend.

Texans and Bengals tonight will be in their tenth all-time meeting, including 7  regular season, and 2 postseason games.  Houston also leads the series 5 games to 4.

Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden are announcing tonight's live TV game commentary, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Lisa Salters, for ESPN's Monday Night Football, seen live on HD.

Cloudy skies at 48 degrees is the local game forecast inside Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, for the 8:30PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff.

NO injuries, and just for tonight in this Monday Night Football game, GO BENGALS!!!!!    :fb:

  7. Hi, Colts and Blue Horseshoe Nation!    :)   Our Indianapolis Colts are in their Week bye week, so there will be no Colts game on the Week 10 NFL schedule.  Indianapolis will instead view these games during  this Sunday afternoon.  :fb:

WTTV CBS Channel 4 schedules to televise both the Bears @ Rams, and Chiefs @ Broncos (With former Colt QB Peyton Manning) primary early, and late double header games on The NFL On CBS, while WXIN FOX Channel 59 is televising the Lions @ Packers early and primary single header game on the NFL On FOX, all three games seen locally on HD.   :fb:

  8. Hi, Colts Nation!   :)  Our 3-5, and AFC South Division leading,  Indianapolis Colts are will try to end a three game losing streak, and try to win over the 7-0, and undefeated Denver Broncos. Colts will also try to remove the Broncos from the undefeated for the second time in two years in their home game, in a virtual international late primary game for CBS Sports at LOS. Andrew Luck and the Colts will also try to lead former Colt Peyton Manning, and his Denver Broncos, by winning with a 3-1 head-to head record after this Sunday afternoon.

Today's game is also the 25th all-time meeting between both the Denver Broncos, and Indianapolis/Baltimore Colts, with the series deadlocked at 12 games apiece, including 21 regular, and three postseason games. Colts though has outscored the Broncos in the previous 24 games by 35 points, 550 points to 515, and the Colts also lead 8-5 in home games overall at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium, the RCA Dome, and LOS.

Two Adam Vinatieri field goals from 52 and 42 yards in the the fourth quarter were the game-clincher in to defeat the Broncos 39-33, back on October 20, 2013, and spoil the return of Peyton Manning at Indianapolis as the opposing player. Colts also gave the Broncos their first loss, after Denver won the first six regular season games at the time.

Indianapolis next played Denver on the road on Opening Week at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium on Sunday Night, September 7, 2014. After Brandon McManus kicked a 21-yard field goal for the Broncos in first quarter, Peyton threw three consecutive touchdown passes to TE Julius Thomas from 3 yards, 35 yards, and 5 yards in the second quarter. Andrew Luck tried to make a come back for the Colts with two TD passes in the fourth quarter, 41 yards to Dwayne Allen, and 9 yards to Hakeem Nicks, but the Colts scoring was not enough that night, as they lost by a touchdown to Denver 31-24, on Sunday Night Football.

Indianapolis return to Denver again four months later in the post season, for the 2014 AFC Divisional Playoff Game, and also the most recent meeting during the Manning Vs. Luck head-to-head game. After Peyton Manning threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to WR Demaryius Thomas in the first quarter, Colts began their game scoring in the second quarter with a Dan Herron 6-yard TD run, Andrew Luck then threw two touchdown passes, a 3-yarder to Dwayne Allen and a 15-yarder to Hakeem Nicks in the third quarter. Adam Vinatieri then kicked a 30-yard field goal in the fourth quarter along with his 3 previous PAT's during the game, and the Colts left Denver victorious, upsetting the Broncos there 24-13, back on January 11, 2015.

Jim Nantz and former New York Giants and Super Bowl Champion Phil Simms, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Tracy Wolfson, are announcing the live TV game commentary for the NFL On CBS's primary late double header game seen internationally, except the San Francisco-Oakland and Tampa Bay areas, including locally on WTTV-CBS Channel 4, live on HD.

Bob Lamey, our 'Voice Of The Colts,' and former Colts, N.Y. Giants, and Wisconsin Badger QB Jim Sorgi, are also announcing the live radio game play-by-play and analysis, along with sideline/field reporter and interviewer Matt Taylor, simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070AM The Fan, and WLHK Hank 97.1FM, and the Colts/Vectren Radio Network.

Bill Rosinski and former Colts and Panthers General Manager Bill Polian are also announcing the live radio game analysis, along sideline/field reporter and interviewer Ian Fitzsimmons, syndicated throughout the USA on Westwood One Sports, including locally on WGCL News Talk 1370AM, in Bloomington.

The real Lucas Oil Stadium's roof might be open for this afternoon's 4:25PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because sunny and clear skies at 54 degrees, feels like 53 degrees, is the game forecast around the stadium area in Downtown Indianapolis, along with 0% humidity, 35% precipitation, and very mild eastern winds at 5 miles per hour.

Visiting Broncos are wearing their blue helmets, and white jerseys and pants, while the host Colts are wearing their traditional home blue jerseys, and white helmets and pants.

Both the Colts and Broncos players, their coaching and team support staffs, and the rest of the NFL teams, may voluntarily wear authentic camoflage NFL team apparel both on the playing field and their sidelines during game action, to honor and recognize our US military personnel throughout the month of November with both the NFL's 'Salute To Service' campaign, and Military Appreciation Month, presented by USAA.

I, and the rest of the Colts Fan Forum moderators, ask that you continue to cooperate, and show and demonstrate your respect and sportsmanship during this afternoons game. We ask all of you again to keep it family friendly, as we never know children and even grandparents not only here on the Colts Game Day Thread in the Colts Fan Forum, but also simultaneously on the Colts Game Chat during this afternoon's game.

Also, even though Peyton Manning is on the other side of the line of scrimmage, Peyton won more games than he started during his stay in Indianapolis with the Colts. He won more games than he lost after 208 starts with his 141 wins over 67 losses, and he and the Colts brought a Super Bowl championship and trophy to the City Of Indianapolis, winning Super Bowl XLI in Miami, with their 29-17 win over the Chicago Bears, back on February 4, 2007. :lombardi:

NO injuries, and hand the Denver Broncos their first loss of their season after their 7-0 start, and keep them from the undefeated ranks again, as you have two seasons ago, before you start you upcoming Week 10 bye. Also, Stay Colts Strong, rebound from your Monday Night loss last week at the Carolina Panthers, and GO Colts!!!!! :cheer::coltslogo::coltshelmet::coltshorse::1colts::colts::helmet::blueshoe::coltslogo::cheer::D

  10. Extremely disappointing loss tonight our Indianapolis Colts.   :(   I felt the weather with the heavy rains also played a factor and impact on tonight's (and early morning) outcome.   I have ready many and several comments on the game plan and many has been directed on Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton which may be justified.  Regardless, the Colts are in a three game losing streak, but yet tied the NFL with their current 15-game divisional winning streak against AFC South opponents!

With the loss, our Colts are in a current three-game losing streak, but may not get easier as they have the return of Peyton Manning again to Indianapolis, and the Colts have to prepare for another undefeated team, the Denver Broncos, in less than a week's time.  Broncos also acquired tight end Vernon Davis from the 49ers yesterday.

Colts had a 5-3 regular season record at this time in 2014. Also with tonight's loss to Carolina, Indianapolis is now tied with the Houston Texans for first place in first place in the AFC South, but the Colts have the tie breaker for now, barely edging the Texans with both points for and allowed with 173 to 203, while the Texans has 174 to 205.

Colts arrive back to Indianapolis later this morning, while Coach Pagano and his  coaching staff will look over game video later today. Players return after an off-day Wednesday to prepare for the Denver Broncos, as I am sure may be another emotional game at the real LOS for Colts fans attending.  All of us will just move and go on the rest of this week, and look forward to another entertaining game between our Colts and the return of Peyton Manning and his undefeated Denver Broncos this Sunday.

Thanks to all of you participating on the Colts Monday Night Football Game Thread again, enjoy the rest of your week, and the weekend.  see all of you here on Sunday, stay Colts Strong, and GO COLTS!!!!!    :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts:  :helmet:  :blueshoe:  :coltshorse:  :coltshelmet:  :coltslogo:  :)
