  1. Hi, Colts Nation!  :)   Our are back in Downtown Indianapolis, as the Chicago Bears come down Interstate 65, to play the Chicago Bears in the second and final regular season home game with an NFC North opponent.   Brian Hoyer is starting for Chicago in place of injured starting QB Jay Cutler.  Colts today have an opportunity and will attempt to win a regular season game in their fourth attempt this afternonn, since arriving from Indianapolis 33 years ago.

Colts and Bears are one of eleven NFL teams with 1-3 records  (49ers are 1-4 after their Thursday Night loss to the Arizona Cardinals),  in this afternoon's 43rd all-time regular season meeting, including Super Bowl XLI.

Besides Super Bowl XLI, our Colts seek to win their first regular season game over the Bears since 2004, and also their first ever, regular season home game in Indianapolis, since defeating the Bears 22-19 in overtime, during the Colts last complete season played at Baltimore.

Colts kicker Raul Allegre kicked three field goals from 37 and 47 yards in regulation, along with a PAT, and the game winner in OT to help Colts defeat the Bears in their last home win, and played at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium, back on September 1983. Randy Mc Millan also scored a 1-yard TD run, and Colts QB Mike Pagel also threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Bernard Henry to complete the game scoring.

Colts and Bears today are also in their Super Bowl XLI rematch, which the Colts prevailed and won 29-17 on a rainy Dolphin Stadium back  on February 4, 2007.   Peyton Manning was the Super Bowl MVP after completing  25 of his 38 passes for 247 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT.

Chicago however defeated Indianapolis in the two regular season meetings, inthe first and opening week, in consecutive regular season meetings since Super Bowl XLI, with a combined score of 70-34. Bears spoiled the Colts first regular season game at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building), by the score of 29-13, back on September 7, 2008., after the Colts played the previous season at the RCA Dome  in Downtown Indianapolis.

Bears defeated the Colts again, this time up north at Soldier Field by the score of 41-21, back on September 9, 2012.  Colts QB Andrew Luck completed 23 of his 45 passes for 309 yard with 1 touchdowns, but he had 4 interceptions in his first regular season game in the NFL as a pro player.

Last Colts regular season win  prior to Super Bowl XLI, was a 41-10 rout at Soldier Field back on November 21, 2004.

Colts amazingly  have yet to win a regular season game at Indianapolis since arriving from Baltimore back in 1983.  In eight meetings, Colts won only two games, a regular season game at Soldier Field in Chicago back on November 21, 2004, and Super Bowl XLI.  Also the Colts played five of those games on the road, both in Chicago and Miami. Two games were played in the Hoosier Dome back in 1998 and 1991, and the inaugural game at LOS back in 2008.

Colts though still lead the all-time regular season series with 23 wins and 19 losses, a series that began when the Baltimore Colts swept the Chicago Bears in their first year in the NFL back in 1953.  Colts defeated the Bears 13-9 at Memorial Stadium on September 27,  and later winning again 16-14 at Wrigley Field back on October 11, 1953.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are announcing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Erin Andrews for The NFL On FOX's primary single header game, seen regionally, including locally, on WXIN FOX Channel 59, live on HD.

  2. Sad loss by our Colts as they lose, and came up short in the scoreboard , and gave their Jaguars their first win of the season 30-27.  The result as both teams leave Great Britain for their bye week with identical records of 1-3.

Colts will regroup and rest from the long plane ride and trip back to Indianapolis from London, England, then prepare their next game as the Chicago Bears travel down Interstate 65 across Indiana to play the Colts in Indiana next Sunday afternoon.

Enjoy  yourselves and we will see you here back on the Colts Game Day Forum, as Coach Pagano, Andrew Luck, and the rest of the Colts try to win their remaining games in 2016, and continue to qualify in the hunt for the NFL Playoffs.

  6. Great come from behind win by the Colts with Andrew Luck's 63-yard touchdown pass to T. Y. Hilton. :cheer::coltslogo::rock: That play was spontaneous , and I admit I saw the play as it happened and it even surprised me when T.Y. both capitilized the play, and ran it through the end zone, for the 26-22 home victory, in front of their home fans at LOS (the building).

Also the 'Pagano Bowl' is officially in the past earlier today., and now Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano can go back and talk family with his brother, Chargers Defensive Coordinator John Pagano.

I'm sure the Colts coaching and scouting staff and support team, lead by Head Coach Chuck Pagano and General Manager Ryan Grigson,  will review game tape, and make adjustments to their game plan this week.

Colts will try to earn a 2-1 record after Week 3 of the 2016 NFL regular season.

Enjoy your week in the meantime Colts fans, and we will meet again for another Colts NFL Gameday back at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building) next Sunday.  GO COLTS!   :)   :coltslogo:    :1colts:      :colts:  :coltshelmet:     :coltslogo:

  11. Hi, Colts fans!   :)  Our Indianapolis Colts move on from their disappointing season opening home loss at LOS (the building) last Sunday, as the Colts are  in Colorado, to play the  Super Bowl 50 Champions Denver Broncos, in both teams 26th all-time regular season meeting between the teams.  Colts also seek to win their first regular season win at the Mile High City in six years.

Both the Colts and Broncos have a battle this afternoon of young quarterbacks.  Besides a recovered Andrew Luck ready for game action today after missing most of the 2015 season suffering with a lacerating kidney, and partially torn abdominal muscle, the Broncos will start Trevor Siemien, who was the third-string QB in the Broncos depth chart behind Manning and current Texans starter Brock Osweiler.

Both the Broncos and Colts do not have to worry this afternoon the presence of former QB, and future Pro Football Hall Of Famer Peyton Manning and his impact and legacy,  since he subsequentially announced and decided to retire as an active player, after leaving the game as a champion by his and the Broncos winning Super Bowl 50 last February in Santa Clara, CA.

Colts defeated the Broncos in their last regular season road win in Denver by the score of 27-13 back on September 26, 2010.  Adam Vinatieri scored two field goals from 38 and 33 yards in the first quarter, Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes,  two from 23 yards and 5 yards to Austin Collie, and a 9-yarder to Blair White, followed by three PAT's by Vinatieri.

Colts also defeated the Broncos in their 2014 AFC Divisional Playoff Game, their last win in Denver, also played at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. Colts RB Dan Herron scored a 6-yard touchdown, then Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes,  3 yards to Dwayne Allen, and  15 yards to Hakeem Nicks, following three PAT's, and a 30-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri, to upset the Broncos at their home turf 24-13 back on January 11, 2015.  Colts eventually lost the following Sunday to the Patriots in the AFC Championship "Deflategate' Game, resulting in Tom Brady's current suspension.

Indianapolis defeated Denver in their most recent meeting played at LOS back on November 8, 2015. AV kicked the game winner with his 55-yard field goal with 6:13 remaining in the fourth quarter, helping the Colts win 27-24.  That  win earned the Colts the current lead in the all-time series, including two playoffs games, at 13 wins and 12 losses, a rivalry that began when the Broncos defeated the Baltimore Colts 17-6 in both teams first-ever regular season meeting since the 1970 AFL-NFL Merger played at Memorial Stadium back on November 10, 1974.

Sunny and clear skies at 85 degrees is the game forecast inside the Sports Authority Field At Mile High Stadium for the 4:25PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with  0% precipitation, 11% humidity, and mild eastern winds at 7 miles per hour.

Colts are wearing the traditional all-white with blue trim helmet, jerseys, and pants, while the host Broncos are wearing their orange helmets and jerseys, and white pants.

NO injuries to both the Colts and Broncos, and let's hope Andrew tries to show comeback player of the year potential, as he helps the Colts win their first game of their 2015 regular season away in Denver!  GO COLTS!!!!!     :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts::coltshelmet:    :coltslogo:
