Potter, a hometown local selected by the Bills!
Who was drafted from your hometown???? It's always fun to see someone drafted that you watched play as a high school kid.

Are all these wins because of Manning? No, the Colts are a team, but with PM as their leader, they sure had an outstanding run, before PM, not so good. Here's to hoping rebuilding does not look like the "before" PM years.... Peyton had a great run and I will miss him as a Colt.
    Manning 1998-2010 W = 141 L = 67
    Harbaugh 1994-1997 W = 29 L = 35
    George 1990-1993 W = 21 L = 43
    Trudeau 1989 W = 8 L = 8
    Chandler 1988 W = 9 L = 7
    Trudeau 1986-1987 W = 12 L = 19
    Pagel 1984-1985 W = 9 L = 23

Here is some good news, because it's the first I've heard that FOR SURE Mathis and Freeney are staying! "game-wreckers" Love it! The following is as quoted from Grigson's statements reported by Craig Kelley of Colts.com
“I have evaluated everybody, and I think there’s a lot of talent here. We just have to find out a way
and how to best manage it. Do what’s best for the organization moving forward.”
Pagano noted the importance of the tag-team presence of Pro Bowl defensive ends Dwight Freeney (102.5 career sacks; 43 forced fumbles) and Robert Mathis (83.5 sacks; 39 forced fumbles), the two top sack producers in franchise history. Each is a multiple Pro Bowl performer. Freeney is under contract, while Mathis is not.
“Without talking about numbers, I just know those guys have been game-wreckers for a long time,” said Pagano. “I know offenses have to account for both those guys. We’re going to make sure that we put both those guys in positions to make plays. I don’t think it would be very smart on my part or anybody else’s part to not make sure that doesn’t happen.
“Both those guys are great players. They have been great players here for a long time. Those guys are Colts through and through. We fully expect to have them here for as long as we can.”

This new surgery info is Moot at this point.. Peyton's already been cleared by his doctors, has been seen throwing well and has been working his but off to get healthy to play. This news at this point is just more gossip and media hype and is completey PASSE! Irsay is quickly blowing his image of being a hands off owner, letting his people make smart football decisions and is quickly becoming a Jerry Jones media freak, making poor decisions. His behavior and tweeting at this point are incredibly rude to Peyton, the team, his new management and THE FANS!

New to Forum and trying to figure out how to use this site. Anyone with helpful or useful information for a non techincal person would be appreciated. My first attempt at a blog post, I don't even know what happened. I thought I was posting and then nothing.. not sure where it went.
I love the Colts and love to learn all sorts of Colts related info on Colts Direct, but since that will be closing, I'm trying to see if I can enjoy the same on this site.
The recent Irsay comments about Peyton have really got me fired up. I'm so disappointed with Irsay's behavior and tweeting the past month. I think he has been exceptionally disrespectful to Peyton as a person and as an employee. Mr. Irsay is reminding me of Charlie Sheen right now, with his addiction to twitter and seems to enjoy seeing his name in the news, so he can't stop, even if he has to say something incredibly stupid to get the attention! I hope Peyton will stay a Colt, but I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to continue to work for Irsay right now.
