Thanks to Macs brilliant insight, instead of changing the start of the competition to week 2, since a number of us had our picks in for this week. I am changing the setting to where everyone can has the ability to drop a week or two of their worst scores and still be in the running. I will set it at one, if a lot of people think it should be two weeks I am sure I can still change it in the next week or so, it is also running through the playoffs.
Now I feel compelled to think of some reward to give out to the overall winner for the season. Good picking and lets have some fun.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but didn't post it. Wouldn't normally do it, but figured I needed to since the time frame doesn't allow much access to those interested.; Hopefully a number of people respond and join us.

It will only show your pick until the game starts..so no one else can copy your pick...My pick's been in for over a week now.

That probably holds true for our Pick em league as well then. Did sent out invite on your thread for that one. changed the start date back a week to give all a chance to get in

I feel your pain lovely lady. Have 4 fantasy football teams through 3 sites. Am in a Pick 'em contest on three sites, and elimination contest on two. taking bets on how many weeks till I miss one or two of them on deadline

Update I just went into the league and changed the settings, it won't start calculating win-loss until week 2 now instead of week 1 so there is time for people to join in and not miss the scores for week one and we all start at the same time

You just have to go to Yahoo Fantasy Sports and click onto Pick "em.
Click Join a League.

I too wish Big Ben the best. Some thought he played well this preseason. I did not feel he did anything to stand out.
THIS is what he needed to do coming off of brutal injuries to survive. I was rooting for him. Maybe if he got the chance with the ones he could have shown whether he really belonged or not. Good luck Big Ben...we are rooting for you....but not the Jets in this lifetime!!!
I wouldn't wish the Jets on anyone. hope he can survive there

Unlike the majority here, I think it was time to part ways with Ijalana. the injuries just kept him off the field his whole time here, kinda reminiscent of a guy named Sanders. I wish him well with new team, put will hold my breath and see if he can stay on the field.

Yes, starters got more time on the field to get in sync with one another and perform. Defense seemed to come alive and start to gel as well.

I knew that lovely lady, just joking around. It is kind of strange idea, but probably be used by a lot of people that are in big money leagues. Guarantees them some money back if their main stud goes down for the year.

Heard this on the radio on the Bob and Tom Show this morning. There is a website where you can buy insurance for main Fantasy Players. There is a list of 100 top players that are eligible for purchasing insurance, the list will be updated and changed through the first 4 games of the season. Designed for people in big money leagues to guarantee you some if a main player gets hurt and out of the season.
