wilson needs some time
looks like he has the talent to be a good player in this league, but teams will go after him if he starts right off the bat
There is no doubt on that. I think all rookies get tested. I loved Wilson getting the time to learn yesterday. It was the best thing to happen in the very first action.
I always remember that we still have 4 weeks of learning. Practicing against our receivers is a great thing.
READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!

You're not sold on Haeg but you had high hopes for Blythe?
I have to say I do not follow that. Can you explain what you saw in Blythe that gave you high hopes for him?
Haeg has the best footwork of any lineman we have. I hope he stays healthy. Love watching him go to work.

Billy Jean King vs. Bobby Riggs anyone? OK Never mind!!

I view PG as a Top 15 player in the league and I thought he should've made 3rd team All-NBA but he didn't. He would help a lot of teams that are already good. I don't think he is better than LeBron, Durant, or Leonard but IMO he is better than Butler and Hayward - I named guys that play his position, the league put Butler on the 3rd team.
Butler and Hayward play pretty hard out there...4th quarter Paul never cut it. He did not even come out for warm ups when Vogel was here...he did with Nate.

Reggie was robbed of his ring by the brawl , no one in the league measured up to the Pacers , they were hands down the best in the league
I had a small season package that year. No team was better than the Pacers, and none meaner...(as we saw)

What I want to know are they going to let the corruption and tampering go ?
This is an open classic case of tampering. I really think they should lose a pick or we get one.
Paul and Magic put us in a precarious position and Mr Silver has to know that. He is great...but we only have Stern to compare.

As far as the fight goes...McGregor will come out straight at him and throw about 20 punches in 20 seconds....the dude is a crazy $*%. One big one early for Floyd?
-
Send him as a one year rental to someone WANTING or THINKING they are really close....
Send him to Toronto or Minnesota where it is nice and warm in the winter.

wouldnt landing hayward mean we have to let teague go? hayward is better, but that would leave us with one of the worst back courts in the league
its a strong class for guards but we dont have a high pick
We still have to pay Teague. He is a FA. How much does he cost?
I would love Hayward. I think he will be a Celtic.

Because if they plan on keeping Isaiah and they already have Smart and Avery Bradley they really don't have room for Fultz to play. Now I've said before I'd move Thomas if I was them and bring in Fultz but if they are keeping Thomas for an immediate title run then there is no playing time for Fultz. Thus they trade 1st for 3rd and get future 1st (likely high 6ers pick) take Jackson to play the 3. That allows them to add a Blake Griffin in FA and they have a couple young guys like Brown and Jackson to play behind Crowder and Griffin....or it gets them more trade ammo for someone like Butler likely. It makes total sense...Danny is running circles around the Atlantic front offices.
Brown needs minutes to show just how good he really is. Has great talent.

I think Turner is better at Center. I'd like to draft Harry Giles (assuming injury checks out). He'd pair well next to Turner.
I ALMOST said Giles. I changed my mind since he is sooooooo fragile.

Yeah, and I'd definitely want to avoid Lonzo. Though Jackson and Fox are two prospects I really like.
His dad will tell the world that he will never sign with Indiana.

He's actually a good player, he is very athletic. I watched several Bruins games this season. I still would like to see us Draft the best Center available when we pick. To me Turner is a pure PF
From Northern Indiana too!

I think Monk will be a lotto pick though, I see him going around 10 or so.
Monk will score in bunches in the NBA. He is that good.

Watch the Diaz/Mcgregor fights, Mcregor doesn't have the strongest chin, got rocked then submitted the first fight, and got beat again IMO the second fight that went to decision. He struggles against good boxers, and will miss being able to use his kicks/elbows. If Floyd peppers him up a little then rocks him, it will be lights out for the flamboyant Irishman, and it could be a short fight. I really don't like either of them, but can't see how Mayweather loses.

For McGregor to win, He will have to knock him out with that huge left hand.
Boxing is a sport where you get together and hold each other. If he makes that happen, Mayweather will blast him.
I would like to see it. Mayweather in 4. TKO.

He has a slight advantage by knowing Chuds system in his second season over the new guys but did he make enough progress in the off-season is the big question. Our 4th rb will most likely shine on special teams to be able to make the roster whether it's Michael, Ferguson, Crossan or some other udfa that stands out in pre-season. Its going to be interesting to watch.
I think they simplified the offense this year. Communication of calls was not even average. Sometimes it made Luck look clueless.

This is a make or break year for Ferguson. If he doesn't make the cut on our team then his nfl days are most likely over.
As we all say....these things will likely come down to special teams ability as well.

I see Ferguson has added some muscle in the offseason just looking at some of the pictures.
That was one of the reasons why I thought he might have worked hard this off season.
