  1. I guess it's not just me, my last jersey was a Bob Sanders one, and we all know how that went. I thought about getting a Angerer jersey this season, but was worried I might jinx him knowing the history. The other jersey I thought about was Luck. So I guess it's say for me to get that Angerer jersey now.

You can pull out that Sanders jersey now - it's considered "RETRO" LOL!

  2. My guess is that there are so few left unsold that what ever is left for each game will be purchased by tv networks for promotions and/or given to charity. Have you ever seen the list of tickets donated each game by player, owner, coaches etc. It is quite a few. Last year we didn't have blackouts because all tickets were sold to season ticket holders with a sizable waiting list. Since we had such a down season all the band waggon fans turned in their tickets and they burned through the waiting list and had about 1200 left over. I kept my tickets and have no intention of giving them up. After all I sat through the nasty 90's I surely can make it through this speed bump :)

  3. I have a confession to make to you all - I feel like I put a little curse on Pat. I had been trying to decide on a new jersey for some time as with Bracket and Clark being released I was down to only my Freeney jersey that I could wear to the games. I finally decided to get an Angerer Jersey and ordered it THE NIGHT BEFORE HE INJURED HIS FOOT!!! :( When it came I hung it right in the closet and havn't looled at it since. I am hoping that it will get it's big debut for the Greenbay Game - Come ON PAT YOU CAN DO IT!!!

  4. Remember last season when Deion said ALL YEAR..that Reggie was GONE from Indianapolis..?

    No QUESTION.....no doubt about it

He must have said it 20 times...

Deion just needs to shut up and fly away on his little fairy wings ;)

  5. Bears are a turnover machine... colts gave up 5 turnovers in the season opener, thats a huge reason the score got out of hand the second half, not sure this next game is as high scoring as last weeks game... the Vegas odds men are usually so close it scares me... lost out on so many parlays due to a half point here or there..

the Minnesota is as winnable a game on the Colts schedule as there is, I really hope they pull this one out & Luck has his "coming" out party at home with the crowd getting behind him, i believe it'd do wonders for the team and the fanbase, (at least those who have their hand on the panic button after one game, a game most reasonable fans expected to lose anyways) Is Edge getting inducted to the Ring of Honor this home game or the next??? That may help the crowd stay in a game if the first half is rocky...

Edge is being iducted at the Jacksonville Game.

  6. I know "Build the Monster" is exciting, but building a team to run and stop the run in a pass first, heck, pass first and second league is no way to win. I think we try and replicate the Texans with better WRs.

You still have to be able to run the ball and stop the run. If no one ran the ball all defenses would have to do is send 8 or 9 guys rushing the passer every down - even Manning can't release a ball that fast. Running the ball reliably keeps the defenses honest and opens up the passing game. You don't have to be a "Great" running team just able to pick up 3 or four yards per run.

  7. Doyle might be very critical of the Colts but he sure is praise-worthy of Luck in this article. And that translates into praiseworthiness for the future of the Colts. All in all, I wasn't too disappointed in how we played and definitely saw the hopes of future glory. Of course, I'm finally on the otherside of watching the IU Hoosiers go through their growing pains to reach the promised land. So, can't wait for that day to come for my Colts as well.

I hope your talking about the basketball team and not the football team cause they got a "few" years to go. Losing their QB in a pretty much worthless non-conference game didn't help them one bit either. But like the moth to the flame I will be watching them Saturday night against Ball State - GO HOOSIERS!!!

  8. Ive read about a hundred posts about how the Colts will do this year, and Ive came to the conclusion that they will do what they will do.

Well said - yours is the most sensible post I have seen yet :) We should all just sit back and enjoy the enjoyable, cringe at the painful and accept the fact that we cannot change a thing. And we shouldn't after all the Colt's arn't paying us a dime LOL. (Of course none of that has stopped us before right ;)

  9. wow, you guys are pretty nit picky. reggie has always flown under the radar and been a pro's pro....says a couple very mild comments and he's a diva?

I agree, as divas go Reggie is the most "invisible" diva I have ever "NOT" seen LOL.
