I think some of us Colts fans are not used to such inconsistencies from the QB position.
Peyton? You always knew what you were getting from him.
Relax guys. It'll get better.
I seem to remember a certain San Diego game later in Peytons career when he threw more than three interceptions - just sayin!
-
Didn't have to - it was delivered to my door ;) Have added it to my growing collection including the Indy Stars after the Greenbay and MoTown Miracle games.
-
The article was crap but the comments were entertaining ;)
-
I still have a "AFC East Indianapolis Colts" sweatshirt. When I ware it people look at me strange ;) I just say it's "Retro".
-
Heading up there from Indy on Saturday with a buddy. It's our annual road trip. Hopefully we stay out of trouble in Windsor and don't miss kickoff.
What is there to do in Windsor? ;)
-
1. The one that I will get in the mail
2. I wasn't until I saw that Luck was going to be on the cover of SI. Hopefuly the curse will pass him by!!

Also this weekend, Colts player Mike McGlynn replaced $500 dollars worth of presents stolen from the van of a Greenwood family. His wife saw the news report about the theft and told him about it and as soon as the game ended Sunday he was on the phone with them and arranging to replace the stolen items. We are so lucky to have such a CLASS organization from top to bottom.
-
My mail man must read mine because it used to come on Wednesday now it never gets here until Thursday. Well I hope the SI Curse stays away from Andrew. ;)
-
Just pure CLASS!!! Thanks for bringing the article the the attention of the Forum. It brought a tear to my eye.

I find it interesting that all our losses but the incomprehensable loss to the Jags, were outdoors. This should not matter as Luck was outdoors throughout college. Of course being in the dome in Detroit will be quite loud. Suh may be a non factor as he may be serving a suspension from his latest excapades on Thanksgiving day! This will be a tough test but I feel better about this matchup than I did about the Patriots.

You do realize this is a COLTS board don't you? ;)
-
I think this is a trap game
For Buffalo?
-
No, he practiced today - expect to see him Sunday.
Oh Crap ;)
-
I could be wrong as I am on auto pilot in the AM, but I thought that I heard on the radio on the way to work this morning that Wes Welker is out for Sunday also. If so, it appears that Mr. Brady is running out of recievers LOL
-
I never thought I would say this - but I really hope I get that letter from Mr. Irsey in late December asking me to pre-pay for my PLAYOFF TICKETS!!!
GO COLTS!!
-
Welcome Coltsfan_nyc!! We all must jump on board at some point. I did in 1984 when the team came to town in the Mayflower vans - OOPs sorry Baltimore, didn't mean to bring that up ;)
-
I guess I missed the purpose of this poll as we must play them both on the road
That being said, I feel we match up better with the Pats. They are a team on the wain (aging defense, QB etc). The Texans would be more of a quality road win.

I kept Harbaugh off my list because I don't think fans had to "suffer through" the years he played for the Colts. In fact, I've said before that Indianapolis never knew what winning football was about until Captain Comeback showed us. He was the first to fill the old Hoosier Dome with a sea of blue, and deserves to be held in higher regard.
He is one of my favorites too. His is the first Colts jersey I ever purchased (and still have - autographed and under glass). He was not only a great player but a pillar in our community. He came out and spoke to my husbands little league football team and even stayed as the other teams broke from practice and signed autographs. You never saw so many starry eye 12 year olds in your life. And now he and his brother are starting a coaching dynasty. And don't forget their brother-in-law, Tom Crean isn't such a shabby coach himself
-
We've struck gold of late, for sure.
Maybe it is a karma reversal of some sort, for those of us who had to live through the Pagel, Trudeau, Chandler, and George years. Throw in a pinch of Schlichter just to enhance the bitter taste.
Oh you just brought a tear of nostalgia to my eye ;)
-
I would sure hate to lose him but I am sure the Head Coaching jobs will be rolling in for him. So congratulations to Arians, it couldn't happen to more deserving man. I am not sure anyone else would have stepped in and so selflessly kept the absent coach front and center in all things to do with the team. It is easy to see that they are great friends and colleagues.

I was suprised that NE looked very pedestrian against a terrible Buffalo team. I feel we can score against this D, the question will it be more than Brady scores against our D. GO COLTS
-
We still have games against the Titans, Chiefs and Bills. We might catch the Texans with the division wrapped up in Week 17.
Most importantly right now, we should enjoy a few days off and get ready to go to New England.
Even if the Texans don't have everything wraped up by December 30th, if Chuck shows up on the sideline like they are hoping - WOW!!! There will be so much energy and emotion at LOS that we may well blow the roof off!! I wouldn't want to be the Texans in that atmosphere!
-
Not to nit pick on a start to a great thread LOS, but would this not be our fourth win in a row? Cleveland, Tennessee, Miami and soon to be Jacksonville?
GO COLTS!!
-
Yes i remember when we didn't have a team.. Then the colts moved here from Baltimore.
You beat me to it. I was going to say 1983 ;)
I give up making excuses for Luck's INTS
