  1. I had four Rams fans next to me at the game.  Throughout the entire game they just kept moaning that the team would figure out some way to screw it up and loose.  They were just as shocked that they were winning as we were that we were loosing so badly.  No body seemed to be enjoying themselves LOL

  2. I was always an IU basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan.  Would watch the games with my dad.  Then in '84 the Colts came via Mayflower and my Mother, who is from England, decided that American football was the sport for her.  She got my dad and I watching them too.  Every Sunday she would announce "It's time to watch My Boys kick butt".  Through all the ups and downs my Mother was convinced that The Colts would win a National Title, was sure of it.  It didn't matter if it was Pagle or "Captain Comeback" under center.  My dad passed in '99 so he didn't get to see us win a Title but my Mother did get to see the big win even though she was sick with cancer she stated that it made her feel Wonderful to finally see her "Boys" win it all.  She passed latter that spring.  I decided that I was going to go all in and even though my Husband prefers to stay home and watch the games in his man cave, a friend of mine and I got season tickets together the last year in the old RCA Dome.  So us old Football Chicks are at every home game cheering on our "Boys".  My voice still isn't right from Sunday night WOOHOO!!!!  :disco:

  3. Jason Belser, Chris Gardocki, Quentin Coryatt, Tyrone Poole, Chad Bratzke, Terrence Wilkins, Tony Siragusa

We will never be able to forget the "Goose".  Every time you turn on DYI he is there doing another "Man Cave"!

  4. Don't worry, Houston fans are not so bad.  They will give you some good natures ribbing.  The occasional drunk can be a pain.  The worst fans are Raven fans.  I have never been nervous about my safety until I went to a game in Baltimore.  They still hate us and it's been 30 years and they have now won two SB's.  They just wont let it go :dunno:

  5. The vast majority of these posts reflect exactly what I've been expressing dread about on here for months. On what rational basis would anyone conclude now that the Colts "should" win the division and advance in the playoffs or be a disappointment? Is that fair to a young/rebuilding team, or a coaching staff/front office in their second year?

How about the team improves on both sides of the ball but they happen to have a few less miracles? How about hoping that they score more points than they give up, that Luck performs more consistently, maturely, and efficiently, that they beat the truly lousy teams a bit more convincingly (and don't get upset by any of them), that they win 50% of their games against other average teams, and that they put up a good show against the elite teams without getting blown out. Just being in the wild-card hunt would make it a good year. Any more than that would once again be gravy.

Most inteligent post yet.  I would almost expect our record to not be as good next year.  Our schedule will be stiffer (the Broncos loom almost assuredly a Sunday night game).  A couple of difficult West Coast travel games.  I agree I look most for improvement by Luck, upgrades to the OL and DL.  This year was MAGIC and should be looked back on with reverence!  We will be at the top again in a couple of years.

  6. Davis was a great find.  The coaches in Miami just didn't know how to bring out the potential in him plus too many temptations in South Beach.  Makes me wonder what other gold may be out there that just arn't living up to potential due to poor coaching.  We have a great coaching staff in place - hope they find a way to entice Ariens to stay (Assistant Head Coach perhaps).  Like Grigson said of Pagano when he interviewed him - "Players will run through walls for this guy"!!
