At this point, this team is capable of beating the Bengals on the road, just not sure about the Chiefs though.
By the time we get to this game it may not matter much to either team. I think the Chiefs will have a loss by then (probably this weekend ;) ). We may both have home field and buys locked up.

I know that most of you don't care for Whalen - but the kid took a heck of a lick and still held onto the ball.

One good thing came of the beat down yesterday. Traffic was very light by the time I left the game at the 3min mark ;)

I had four Rams fans next to me at the game. Throughout the entire game they just kept moaning that the team would figure out some way to screw it up and loose. They were just as shocked that they were winning as we were that we were loosing so badly. No body seemed to be enjoying themselves LOL

The scene in Jaws where Roy is throwing chum out the back of the boat. The shark just slowly rises up out of the water and looks at him. I let out a scream in the theatre that they are still taking about in West Lafayette. And to think my Aunt wanted to see the Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again LOL!!

A: Watching all the televised games for my football fix. Also, go to Univerisity of Indy game tonight to watch the son of a friend play. GO UINDY!!!

I say we stick with our current stable. They will rise to the challenge, especially if as Pagano says we get Wayne back on the sideline after his surgery as "WR coach". That should inspire the guys to play hard.

I was always an IU basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan. Would watch the games with my dad. Then in '84 the Colts came via Mayflower and my Mother, who is from England, decided that American football was the sport for her. She got my dad and I watching them too. Every Sunday she would announce "It's time to watch My Boys kick butt". Through all the ups and downs my Mother was convinced that The Colts would win a National Title, was sure of it. It didn't matter if it was Pagle or "Captain Comeback" under center. My dad passed in '99 so he didn't get to see us win a Title but my Mother did get to see the big win even though she was sick with cancer she stated that it made her feel Wonderful to finally see her "Boys" win it all. She passed latter that spring. I decided that I was going to go all in and even though my Husband prefers to stay home and watch the games in his man cave, a friend of mine and I got season tickets together the last year in the old RCA Dome. So us old Football Chicks are at every home game cheering on our "Boys". My voice still isn't right from Sunday night WOOHOO!!!! :disco:

I think that this ranking is a little ridiculous. I love and believe in the Colts but I don't think were quite #1 yet.

No Trades - Next Man UP!!!

Hank Baskett.
You are joking - right!

I am going to add this one to the Greenbay game from last season. Hopefully will have quite a library of "Historic" games on the DVR by the end of the season. WOO HOO GO COLTS!!!!

RIchardson is soft and doesn't hit the holes hard. Horrible trade.
You actually think the Browns would give up so quickly on him if he were a stud? MJD did it for years in JAX without a supporting cast.
And JAX was such a huge contender with MJD LOL.

All I can say at this point is WOW - what a turn of events in a 24 hour period. We are not known as the Cardiac Colt's for nothing
-
Jason Belser, Chris Gardocki, Quentin Coryatt, Tyrone Poole, Chad Bratzke, Terrence Wilkins, Tony Siragusa
We will never be able to forget the "Goose". Every time you turn on DYI he is there doing another "Man Cave"!

Don't worry, Houston fans are not so bad. They will give you some good natures ribbing. The occasional drunk can be a pain. The worst fans are Raven fans. I have never been nervous about my safety until I went to a game in Baltimore. They still hate us and it's been 30 years and they have now won two SB's. They just wont let it go

I watched the Hoosiers put a 73 point "HURT" on the Sycamores LOL. So I didn't see the whole game just checked the score from time to time. My hope is that they will keep Caesar Rayford. He is the "Jerrell Freeman" of 2013.
-
Surprise = Caesar Rayford
Disappointment = Coby Fleener I hope he is not going the way of Gonzales. Always hurt so he can never get comfortable with the system.

Mostly Chapman - but at this point JUST FOOTBALL. Seems like years since the end of last season!!
-
I have one ticket got one bag. All I take to the game is a cell phone and some cash. Oh, and my drivers license for when the beer vendor can't see all my gray hair LOL.

If I could have anyone past or present that I wanted. HMMM! A Young Healthy Bob Sanders

The only good thing I have to say about the OL is that they didn't get Luck KILLED only battered and bruised! I am not overly attached to anyone of them. I suppose Shipley, Castanzo and Justice could be keepers if supported with more talented FA's and draftees.

The vast majority of these posts reflect exactly what I've been expressing dread about on here for months. On what rational basis would anyone conclude now that the Colts "should" win the division and advance in the playoffs or be a disappointment? Is that fair to a young/rebuilding team, or a coaching staff/front office in their second year?
How about the team improves on both sides of the ball but they happen to have a few less miracles? How about hoping that they score more points than they give up, that Luck performs more consistently, maturely, and efficiently, that they beat the truly lousy teams a bit more convincingly (and don't get upset by any of them), that they win 50% of their games against other average teams, and that they put up a good show against the elite teams without getting blown out. Just being in the wild-card hunt would make it a good year. Any more than that would once again be gravy.
Most inteligent post yet. I would almost expect our record to not be as good next year. Our schedule will be stiffer (the Broncos loom almost assuredly a Sunday night game). A couple of difficult West Coast travel games. I agree I look most for improvement by Luck, upgrades to the OL and DL. This year was MAGIC and should be looked back on with reverence! We will be at the top again in a couple of years.

Davis was a great find. The coaches in Miami just didn't know how to bring out the potential in him plus too many temptations in South Beach. Makes me wonder what other gold may be out there that just arn't living up to potential due to poor coaching. We have a great coaching staff in place - hope they find a way to entice Ariens to stay (Assistant Head Coach perhaps). Like Grigson said of Pagano when he interviewed him - "Players will run through walls for this guy"!!

What happened to Deji Karim? Last year he was parking cars one day and running back a 97 yd punt return for a TD.
