In a few threads here before the year I had us at 11-5......heh.
You should have bought a lottery ticket too

I dont know which is harder....Denver in Denver, or the Chargers anywhere. No, I am not getting ahead of myself, just responding to the thought that we would get a W in NE.
Chargers scare me more than any other team.
I agree - we just seem to have BBBAAAADDD karma when it comes to the Chargers.

I was pretty disgusted by half time but never considered leaving. My friend and I went out to bathroom and to get beers. Lamey sounded so dejected on the monitors in the concourse which even made me more depressed not to mention that, as usual, I found myself in the SLOW line at the concession.
But was that second half freaking awsome.

KC fans sitting in front of me commented that they could not believe how loud it was. Group of 8 Colts fans sitting behind me left when Andrew had the pick to start the second half. They were back in their seat by the start of the 4th quarter. Said they got as far as the bottom of the escalator and we had scored. They stood and watched by the stage and we scored again so the rushed back to their seats. Said they would never leave a game again no matter how far down. Didn't want to comment on that one LOL. ;)

I started to come on the boards last night when I got home from the game but I was just too drained - actually felt like I had just run a marathon They are replaying the game tomorrow night and I am going to record so that I can watch it over and over.
But I am going to tell you that nothing will ever - ever - ever compare to actually being there. That is a feeling that I will never forget.
When Mathis strip sacked Smith the building actually SHOOK! I looked at the guy sitting behind me and before I could say anything he said "did you feel that"!!!
The noise was unbelievable. At one point on the KC final drive it no longer was cheering it was just mind numbing NOISE!! I am so proud of this team and the 12th Man.
Go COLTS!!!

Luck has a better TEAM built around him.
Your NUTS! Two years ago Grigson completely gutted this team. We have a patchwork offensive line. Over the next two years he will build the OL that Luck deserves.

Gonna be LOUD in section 409!!!

I am very nervous now that all of the talking heads are picking us

Tickets are safely tucked away in a locked cabinet - cannot wait!!! GO COLTS!!

If we had to go to KC I would think that it would be very difficult to beat them there a second time. Coming here puts a whole new twist on things. They are so sure that they have the best home field advantage and we beat them there. Let them come to LOS - Come on 12th Man - Lets show them what REAL NOISE IS!!!!!! We need to bring the roof down!!!!!! And I hope my fellow season ticket holders didn't sell their seats West
-
Good - Keep KC guessing so they won't know who to prepare for ;)

Those Jag fans a strange bunch?!?! I just checked out their forum and the "Official Colt Vs Jags thread. There was little to no discussion of the game - guess they have packed their bags for vacation as well!
-
I am just hoping I don't walk out of LOC into an Ice Storm tomorrow!!
GO COLTS!!

Denver is a strange place. If we play there and the game is the early game (probably not as Denver will most likely be the prime time slot) it will be warm. Temps drop a great deal at night there however and winds pick up.

Hey, all I can say is I would rather have One Pro-Bowler and be 11-5 and in the play offs than have 4 pro-Bowlers and be 4-12 and sitting on the couch in January (Browns) LOL!!
-
It still amazes me that whenever someone starts an Andrew Luck thread it always turns into a Manning Vs Luck debate!!! Can't we Colt Fans just enjoy the fact that we are the Luckiest *S in the NFL!! We had 13 Great Seasons with Peyton and then had Andrew Luck DROPPED in our laps. Why question our good fortune - sit back and bask in the fact that 75% of the rest of the NFL would KILL to be in our shoes.
Andrew Luck is my Quarter Back and that's all that matters to me lol. GO COLTS!!
-
Have the Jets ever had a good quarterback? Some teams always have great players in certain positions but not so much in others. We have always had great quarterbacks. Unitas, Jones and Manning. Luck will be getting there, and Harbaugh had a great couple of years. While the Jets have had great positions, but the quarterback wasn't and never has been one.
They had some guy named Nameth once that was supposed to be pretty good

It just kinda feels like 2006. The defense getting hot at the end of the season. I will be happy with winning the opening playoff game. Anything else will be like getting extra Christmas gifts I wasn't expecting.
GO COLTS!!!!
-
Have you seen Denver's defense?
They, too, are surprisingly beatable.
The problem with Denver, not to state the obvious, (I will anywayLOL) you have to put up enough points to out score Peyton. We did it once. May be tough to do it a second time. I do think that Mathis has Peyton's number though

I got playoff tickets!! Hope that the stars align and we host the AFC Championship. If not the money will go towards next season LOL.

Getting 2-3 inches of your fingers on a ball makes it quite catchable. It wasn't an easy catch, but a catch nfl caliber receivers make frequently.
Exactly, Marv and Reg would have caught that ball 9 of 10 times.

Brown and Walden and Fleener
Why Walden - for the "HEAD BUTT". I think we could have done without that foolishness!

That's the way we beat the Pats in AFCCG. Hurry up offense so they could not make substitutions. They were gassed at the end. That and turning up the heat in the RCA Dome ;)
