Imo taking a db at 6 won't help the team and would be a waste.

If we stay at 6 we have to draft OL or a blue chip pass rusher. Because

1)we have to protect our franchise qb first

2)even if we have a solid to great secondary, it's useless if we can't create pressure to the opposing qb. Nearly every qb will get the job done if he has 4 or 5 seconds to throw. Then even good db's are lost.

    My opinion:)

What if Chubb, Barkley, and Nelson go top 5, and no one wants to trade up for our pick?  at that point, I think Fitzpatrick may be our man

when the browns traded with the bills I feel that they made a deal at that time that the browns would also trade their first pick to them.

so the bills gets the first pick and qb of their choice and the browns get the bills 2 # 1 picks plus their 2nd pick and first pick in 2019.

I think the plan of the browns will be with the #4 pick to take Nelson and with the 21st & 22nd picks to take the best G and OT. they already have a good rb and the qb is good enough. they will this year work on getting the best OL together and next year maybe get their future qb.

this may be a good plan to have a great OL before getting your qb (so that he will not be on IR so often)

Option A: Tyrod Taylor at QB and Duke Johnson at RB.

Option B: Darnold/Allen at QB and Saquon Barkley at RB

Ya, you are right.... it's the browns.  They will probably go with option A lol

Well....    an offer of a single first round pick, and the Bills have picks 21 and 22, along with OT Cordy Glenn is NOT an offer that says they believe Luck is healthy.   It says Buffalo is willing to gamble on the unknown.    If Luck is healthy, it's NOT a serious offer.

Because if Luck IS healthy it would take BOTH of Buffalo's first round picks AND both of their second round picks AND Cordy Glenn to be even considered.

Plus...   if we trade Luck the Colts would take a dead cap salary hit of more than 20 million dollars.

Another poster in this thread referred to a Luck -- in his current unknown health status -- as one of the most un-tradeable players in the NFL.   And I'd agree.

    I concur

    Not if he's not healthy.

And no one knows if he's healthy.

Seems most everyone in this conversation doesn't understand that.

The Andrew Luck if 2012-16 is not here.  We have one giant question mark.

And beyond all that, to trade Andrew Luck would cost the Colts more than $20 million in dead cap money.  This isn't happening.

    I get it....

The article specifically states that their logic is based off the Bills being satisfied that Andrew Luck is healthy.

Seems most everyone in the conversation read that part and understands we are debating on if Luck was healthy, could the Bills get him from us for Cordy Glenn and a 1st.
