  1. Hoooo eeeee. Feels good to be able to breathe again lol. Miami, Baltimore, and Tennessee are all going to win their games. We reeeeally needed this. Hopefully we still win out, but I'm hoping Miami loses one more and we win at least one more. Good finish by the D. They gave up quite a few yards, but considering the talent that is Watson we limited them pretty good on points.

I don’t think we  take a ot at 13 to sit a year. Maybe a second round pick to develop for a year. That would mean your passing up a QB, DT that can have immediate impact, or a stud WR. That doesn’t make sense.

In fairness an OT could still start at RT this year and slightly upgrade over Smith or kick Smith into the inside. It's not like it can't have an immediate impact. Talent is talent at 13. Not saying it's my favorite options, but saying it doesn't make sense seems like an overreaction.

  3. This is why I want the Colts to get one of the quicker 6-2 or taller guys. When is the last time we had a big, physical playmaker? I won't be upset if we opt to just bring back Funchess and draft a different profile WR, but we need a taller, quick WR and an upgrade at receiving TE.

Denzel Mims and Harrison Bryant please!

...and a lot of folks on here hate him for that. I am telling you, a lot of us probably grew up with/got used to the buttoned up Dungy and Peyton led Colts and Belichick/Brady led Patriots giving coach speak cliches that I see a lot of us having a hard time getting used to these new age "dabbing" players or those that play with some amount of swagger around them.

If they can walk the talk, more merry to them, I say. Either they have it or don't have it. If they wait till they have won a SB or two, and then start talking, we'd still be hard on them, so they might as well talk while succeeding or failing by being themselves and not put on a veil for us to anoint them as conformists for our tastes. :)

I just don't know why a viewer would hate on him. He's entertainment incarnate. I have a passion for football, obviously, but at the end of the day it's entertainment not a job. I love the storylines and I love the characters. And it's all unscripted... (probably

Mike Mayock just said the Raiders are open to moving on from Carr.  So hold on.  A long way to go.

Yeah, smoke and mirrors and all that aside, it does seem very much like the Raiders would like a fresh look in Vegas. If we want Love and they don't get someone like Rivers or Brady, I'd be pretty concerned about where the Raiders go at No.12. But I could also see them rolling with Carr again and using that draft stock on the likes of Jeudy and more. I kind of don't get why they are so inclined to move on anyways. they can get so much better with carr.

Or go against the "no WR in the 1st round" crowd that includes me and draft Jerry Jeudy :)

Hey! for what it's worth I am not one of those people who will hate on a WR at 13. Jeudy and Lamb really do look like the undisputed top 2 to me and I'd be happy to have one even if there is depth at WR in this draft. It's not my top choice, but you won't see me cry about it.

Clowney signing with us is a pipe dream. Unless Luck comes back.
Watkins being a Ballard guy would shock me.
      Some good ideas otherwise.

I definitely acknowledge any high profile FA mock is a bit of a pipe dream. Though I don't think it's as out there as some think. If Clowney want to go to a good team for good money Indy could provide. Rivers could help his decision if the QB is a factor in that choice. But yeah, I'm sure there are over a dozen other teams thinking about how they can get him and Seattle is probably still the frontrunner.

As for Watkins, idk? I know doubt used the Ballard KC speed receivers speculation here. I guess I'd be interested in what you think Ballard wouldn't like about him. To me, I just think he'd have some similar concerns as he may have with Funchess but is just a different type of WR, but I chose that on the outlook that we target a bigger 6'3 WR in this draft. Maybe Claypool if not Mims, or Pittman later, the options are there.

But I get your points, Clowney is a aggressive FA choice that is probably the least likely to happen just due to cost and difficulty. But I do think he is one of the more likely of the high profile guys. Imo

I wouldn’t go for Harris in FA. 28 years old and only one year of great production. This class is deep at IDL after Brown and Kinlaw too. I’d draft a guy who will be younger and cheaper. Remember Autry is still under contract. How much money do you really want to devote to the 3-tech spot?

28 isn't bad for a free agent. His contract may be a bit inflated due to his one year production boost but I do think he looks like an upgrade He's hitting his prime and I honestly think this team could use a few more guys in that late 20s range. On a 3 year deal he'd be 31 when his contract is up, that's not bad at all. I only agree with your assessment of the DTs through second maybe early 3rd round. I don't  see many guys who would match Harris beyond that and my approach was that you can't get everything you want. I had considered Jordan Elliot over Mims, but I then felt I would have had to go WR in the 3rd and I don't like passing up the good depth this draft had at CB, better than DT depth imo. And Autry will get 5 million this season, which is fine by me for DT depth. If Harris works out, Autry can walk after this season.
