  1. Patriots show up to their 4th straight Super Bowl, tying the record set by the Buffalo Bills and will play an NFC team.

Patriots will get the #1 seed and play their Divisional game against the 8-8 team that somehow won on Wild Card Weekend and get a free pass to the AFCCG.

    Nothing else matters.

James white will break his record for receptions. Julian Eldeman will have 10 1st down receptions.

Suh and Donald won't get one finger on Brady.

The Rams will keep Pace with the Patriots. But will leave Brady too much time in the end

Brady could snap the ball for the first play of the game, run the entire quarter out on that one play because his offensive line gives him an eternity to throw the ball (Brady could probably squeeze the ball between his legs and play on his phone while the clock is running down), and no one would still make any mention of how well he's protected.

My wild card for the game: McVay, known for his aggressiveness, calls an aggressive play at the wrong time and decides the game.

Brady has thrown 2 INTs before and won a playoff game, Peyton has as well. It does not matter whatsoever, as long as the team wins and the QBs make the plays when they count.

If the Patriots had lost, it would have been more about how good Mahomes was than how bad Brady was, IMO.

Peyton gets completely roasted for making the slightest mistake in the playoffs, even if he makes up for it later (the 2010 one-and-done vs. the Jets get blamed squarely on him for example, and not on the special teams giving up a return to midfield and then the defense getting carved up by Sanchez to setup the chipshot FG after Peyton drove them to a go-ahead FG with 50 seconds left, for example). He also gets roasted for other players on his team screwing up.

Brady's mistakes in the playoffs normally get brushed off and overlooked.

If Peyton was in Brady's shoes in Super Bowl 49 for example, you'd hear a lot about the two interceptions that were thrown (one was in the end zone and took points off the board for the Patriots, the other interception was in Patriots territory and led to a Seahawks TD) and less about the comeback.

Peyton's 06 run for example is discredited by screaming 3 TD/7 INT with no context behind it. His statline in the AFCCG was only 1 TD/1 INT as the Colts ran it in each time they got down to the goal line. He led the team down the length of the field on each drive but the 1 TD/1 INT line doesn't reflect that. He had to go into Baltimore who arguably had the best defense in the league that season and grinded out a win there (anybody expecting a light-it-up performance against that team that year was crazy).

  4. I'll watch it. Mainly since it's the last game of the season and it's all we got until September.

But I haven't actually watched an AFC Championship game in years. Last one I watched in full was the 2013 one in Denver. It's the same story every year in the AGCCG, so it's not worth watching.

where you been all day Buf???

Not watching. Only tuned in when the people downstairs started screaming just to see what was going on.

I said at the beginning of the year the Patriots would be in the Super Bowl despite whatever issues they had.

I haven't watched an AFCCG involving the Patriots since at least the 2014 game against the Colts.

Same crap every year, it's not worth watching when you know the result is practically pre-cooked. Almost Cavs vs. Warriors NBA bad.

Leave it to the Patriots to be a factor in the end as the status quo.

Just when you think that they are done ,they wont go down easily. I still think that KC has the stuff to beat them, but with New England's game planning, you never know. I just hope their mystic  won't  get inside of KC's head.

Hey, I had them going to the Super Bowl from the start of the season (and they're heavy favorites to go back next year too), so it's up to the Chiefs to hopefully prove me wrong.
