My least favorite kind of commercial break is coming up. Go to commercial with 30 seconds left in the quarter, come back, run one play, quarter ends, back to commercial.
Why go to commercial with that little time left in the quarter knowing you're going to go right back within the next play or two?

Pats fans are really not enjoying their offseason this year
I'm sure they'll still go 13-3 and have a penciled in spot at the Super Bowl.

I'd like to see a 'cap' on pass interference at 30 yards..
If you make pass interference a mandatory 15-yard penalty, defenders will simply grab receivers in the final seconds of a game and take the 15-yard hit to run the clock out...
But games can't end on a defensive penalty...

Wow Bob Kraft meddling with a coaching relationship with another team . . . that is almost like . . . cheating . . . .
Seriously, it sucks for you guys. But in the end no one knows Josh's HC capabilities. So maybe it is a blessing for the colts.
I just heard that there was no contract signed and that Josh was indicating he wanted more time.
Things are still kind of up in the air with the SB loss, and BB contract is up in 2018, maybe the Krafts wanted Josh as a back-up and can take over if BB decides to move on after next year.
I don't know, he had set the Broncos years back when he coached there and his team fell apart from a 6-0 start to go 8-8. Fortunately for the Broncos they pretty much cancelled all of that out with Peyton Manning.

In fairness, Philly has two very good RBs, Blount as we all know is a beast and Ajayi is no slouch either. It's more of having a good running game than needing an elite RB, if that makes any sense.

In fairness, Manning threw two INTs in that game.
A turnover is a turnover, but a strip-sack is not quite the same as an INT.
I think one of the interceptions though was a tipped pass off of maybe Marvin Harrison's hands.
What also wasn't mentioned was that the Chargers were missing both Rivers and LT in that game and the Colts' D couldn't stop them.

He honestly played a good game. He missed some throws in the first half but they never punted the whole game. Plus he was missing Cooks...I thought they would throw to the RBs more but really it was just the one strip sack that was the difference in the game. Neither team could stop the opposing qb....you knew Brady was going to make a comeback and he about did. I still wasn't comfortable until I saw 00s on the clock. Fun game....had lots of good friends over...great food....excellent evening. With the exception of the announcers....my one gripe...but even that doesn't taint a good time.
I'm not saying Brady had a bad game or he was the reason for the loss, but Peyton would get blamed for playoff losses when his team couldn't stop the Chargers' backups while having a Brady-like game like last night.
-
I'm sure Brady will get hounded for his performance the way Peyton would get hounded for throwing 400 yards and 3 touchdowns in playoff losses (2007 Chargers)

Woo!
So should I wear my Bills shirt tomorrow or my green collar shirt with black pants (Eagles colors)? -
Brady has two chances to get this Hail Mary, so he'll do it.
-
Brady will connect on a Hail Mary. It'll happen.
-
Brady will get the 1st down here, no worries.
-
91 yards is super easy for Brady, they'll get the TD + 2.
-
Doesn't matter.
Brady will blow down the field without a problem, get the easy TD + 2, and then get the ball first and blow down the field for the easy winning TD in OT.
Patriots still got this.
-
Eagles won't get this first down.
Even if they hit the FG, Brady will get the TD + 2 to tie the game and then win it on OT. -
Eagles can call a pass here, there's 2:03 left, even if it's incomplete the 2 minute warning is right around the corner, I'm sure they can run 3 seconds off.
-
Doesn't matter.
Patriots can still stop the Eagles, and get the ball back with 1:20 and get the TD to win it.
-
Again, it doesn't matter, Brady will get the last second TD to win it (or tie if the Eagles get this 2PC, which they won't).
-
Oh come on, he caught the ball, took a few steps with control, he's an open field runner at this point.
-
Doesn't matter.
Patriots will get the TD as time expires.
-
So even if the Eagles get a FG here (I'm sure they'll find some way to botch this up), it looks like this will end the same way Super Bowls 36 and 38 ended.

they are gonna leave tom with a lot of time..
They are running down the clock though, unlike some teams.
Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things.
-
So even if the Eagles somehow score on this drive, we all know the Patriots will get the last score as time expires.
-
So this one's over.
The only people who will pretend to be surprised by this Super Bowl are Patriots fans, who will tell us how nervous they were, they weren't feeling good at all, how they can't believe the Patriots pulled us out, and how it's the biggest miracle since the 1980 Olympics.
Time for the Eagles to punt after 3 plays and then for Brady to blow down the field for another TD to put this game away.

I think it's tough to judge the Eagles right now, I'd obviously wait until Wentz and Jeffrey are back and then they should be operating at full strength. Running game got going and saved them in the end.
