Had quite a few emotions in that game. Was a complete wreck in the 4th quarter, is this what watching your team play on Sunday Night is supposed to feel like? How can this be good for your health? I'm too used to watching my team play at 1:00 every Sunday, with the occasional 4:00 game that would only be on that late because of it being a West Coast game.
The Bills at this point just needed to win and get in, and I wasn't feeling that confident going into the game. Pittsburgh is a tough place to win, they have the Patriots in Foxboro next week, and I was worried that it would come down to winning Week 17 at home against the Jets. Glad we got the win and put this away quick.
I know the division is a longshot at this point (would require not only beating the Patriots in Foxboro, but winning Week 17 and the NFL Gods having the Patriots lose at home to the Dolphins), but even beating the Patriots could screw them out of a first round bye if Kansas City can win their games, so at the least I'll be pulling for that.

17-3 Giants at halftime, Eagles playing like garbage on both sides of the ball.
Really pulling for the Eagles because I don't want Dallas to win the division, but the Eagles clearly want the division less than the Cowboys do, it seems.

For every bad call against the Patriots, there's 99 mostly phantom calls that they get, so I'll hardly shed a tear for them, maybe a few more bad calls and we can start the long process of balancing out the good calls with the bad on them.

Doesn't the NBA seed by record and not division/wild card? I think in 2012, the Celtics, who won their division, were a lower seeded team against Atlanta, who had a better record but didn't win their division.

Good game, man. Had the Bills won they'd be in a tie for the Patriots in the division right now and that Bills/Patriots game in two weeks all of a sudden becomes much more interesting. Offense was just harassed too much today.
Bills apparently right now are in a win-and-in situation, which kind of makes me uncomfortable. @ Steelers next week, then @ Patriots, and home against the Jets. Really hoping it doesn't come down to that Jets game.
But congrats on your 1 game + H2H tiebreaker cushion against the Patriots!
Now if the Patriots can just lose one more game with the Chiefs winning out, they'll have to play on Wild Card Weekend. One can only hope, right?

Time for the Texans to punt after 3 plays and then Brady will blow down the field for another easy TD, since the Texans decided to stop covering receivers altogether.

I heard, a little nervous about that game since playing in Pittsburgh is always tough.
Also, why did Brady not sneak there? That's normally automatic.

Although if the Texans win tonight it might be more preferable if Baltimore wins next week vs the Bills, since if the Texans wins the Ravens would jump to the #1 seed. Getting the AFC Championship game out of Foxboro is more important than the Bills.

Doesn't matter.
NE will close out the half with a TD, leave no time for the Texans, and then the Patriots will get a TD to open the second half and take control of the game.
Patriots should still comfortably win this game.

Also the second time this season the Jets lost to a team with an 0-7 record or worse (Miami got their first win of the season against the Jets).
Also more depressing is that the Cowboys will still in all likelihood win the division because the NFC East is complete garbage, which will give the NFL an excuse to give the Cowboys 13 primetime games next season and federal legislation to mandate every American household get the Cowboys every week and watch them at the same time.

I know it was only the first week of the season, but both teams went in different directions after that game. The Jets came into the season with sky high expectations, the Bills not so much. The Jets had a 16-0 lead at home in the second half, with a +3 or +4 turnover differential and were for the most part dominating the Bills. The Jets blew that lead in the 4th quarter, and since that game, the teams have had wildly different seasons. The Bills are in a decent position to make the playoffs (yes, that's my pessimism still showing), and the Jets have lost to a winless Bengals team and lost to a then-winless Dolphins team earlier in the season.

Fun fact: Last Ravens trip to Buffalo was 6 years ago, the Bills somehow upset the defending SB Champs and got 5 or 6 turnovers out of that game I think.

I actually went to the game last night, dressed in a Jim Kelly jersey. Didn't cheer or scream too much (just some occasional clapping), since, as you'd expect, I didn't think they'd ultimately win. Don't know why the offense went stone cold conservative after the TD in the 3rd quarter, it was just run three times and punt, they really put a lot of strain on the defense. When they actually forced the ball downfield they had success, they stuck with the run despite not getting anything out of it.
Pass rush was really a letdown too, so many plays where Brady had his normal "If I stand in the pocket I can run the 15 minutes of the quarter down, get my Christmas Shopping done, and cook hot dogs for the sideline" time to throw.
