  1. This started because sneed went to the titans... There is a narrative here that the team and Ballard are waiting to see what we have at qb before spending big on outside free agents. I think some of you forgot what we were even talking about. The titans have a more experienced qb who didnt get hurt every game so they are making moves. I brought this up because there was a lot of talk about AR and Levis here last year. I guess some people didnt like me bringing that up but the two were compared a lot. ARs lack of experience is making the team wait.
  2. He showed he can stay in the game. Richardson may not make in the league if he doesnt learn some things. Pff ranked WL higher too Its just a fact that he is more experienced.
  3. WL had a lot more games played, a lot more completions and a lot more tds in college. I just double checked the numbers, they are not close. Shouldn't be that hard for you to admit i was right over him being more experienced. He showed he can play in the league without getting hurt every game, AR didnt.
  4. He is older and has played a lot more games. That IS being further along, its experience. He showed he can play in the league without getting hurt every game. He is probably a better passer overall too
  5. As for the draft it seems like a lot of us want offense in the first round, I do too. Keep in mind we might see the top WRs and Bowers gone anyway and have all the Corners still on the board. How far down the list of WRs do you want to go while passing on maybe the best CB in the draft?
  6. They are doing what a lot of people have been talking about here. Waiting to see something from their qb before making moves. They also spent on a WR He is further along, it shouldn't be that hard for you to admit this. I actually dont like WL myself, he annoys me. Still further along
  7. Anyone want to revisit the Richardson and Levis debate?? Didnt think so lol He is older and further along, they are more willing to make this move. On the other hand i dont want to watch the team get scored on all day this year no matter who the qb is
  8. Anyone else wonder if Jims poor health could also be buying CB some time? I dont think its the most important factor but if its a close call on getting rid of him and Jims health is bad he might not want to shake things up
  9. Yeah I dont think they ever said too much about what they saw from him in college but that story about the draft is kind of interesting. They made it sound like PM wanted to go to the Cheifs and especially Andy Reid. I think they said it was the Saints that were going to take him and he said you guys should trade up for me when they met
  10. Things have gotten very quiet while we still have a pretty glaring hole at outside corner and free safety. I could still see passing on both in the first round if one of the better WRs or Bowers is there but we are going to get scored on a lot again. Im starting to like Cross more at SS. He was drafted really young but seems to be trending up and has the right skill set
  11. Houston did get lucky. The browns gave them way too much for DW, they also tanked a year or two and used those picks to get a good qb and edge
  12. They have told that story. Mahomes had info that other teams were going to draft him and I think he just wanted to go Andy Reid. They said one of the coaches leaked him the play book so he could ace his first interview with AR, they laugh about this now They wanted an upgrade from alex smith, he aced the interview and told them directly he was going to get taken if they didnt trade for him.
  13. Cross is actually pretty good when playing his natural position. To me Thomas is just a guy
  14. This will be a big year. If Richardson isnt good then the door is wide open to go off on the front office and Jim. Its fair to wonder if Jim Irsay is still fit to lead the team too.
  15. Sad but true. We had Andrew Luck and he retired early on us smh. The Texans had some really great talent that deserved better in Watt and Johnson. Henry is an all time great RB that was wasted by the Titans.
  16. After looking at the FA tracker I dont see many out there that are better than him or what we have. Cross and Harrison are not big names that people will talk about but they might be ok considering what is available. Blackmon is similar to them or maybe a little better if he could stay in the game. Cross, Blackmon and Harrison are all serviceable imo. I dont think we will spend a high pick on a safety
  17. They are like a better version of us. Well rounded but with more proven play makers
  18. I still want Blackmon back. He might be our best safety and they are pretty thin right now
  19. They are really aggressive pretty much year. It doesn't always work but they are a fun team to follow If he stays in the game Barkley to the Eagles could one of the bigger moves of the year
  20. Yeah we need play makers somewhere. We got schooled last year by the Falcons and Bengals because they had play makers and we didnt. Colts were arguably more well rounded than both but they won. I thought the colts should have beat the Bengals but they were strong at WR and we were thin at corner. They exploited that and won. We were all playing backup caliber qbs
  21. It probably comes down to how they rank the WRs, CBs and Bowers. Hard to see taking a Safety or LB that high this year. It wont be Oline, DT, RB, or QB. Probably not edge unless we move. Trading back for more help in the secondary makes some sense but is boring
  22. It was a weak class, there were not too many moves I wanted us to make It was re sign our own or let them go so we get worse. I looked at FA trackers and it seems a lot of teams spent big re signing their own too with a few big names changing teams. The sneed deal could have made us better but thats a dead horse/colt. Cousins to the Falcons is one to watch and I like Barkley to the Eagles Pittman and Stewart took a big chunk of our cap and i wanted them back
  23. Those two are ok but they wont scare the best WRs in the league. I know we are not all in this year and I personally am ok with that but I think this group needs an upgrade still. They can guard average players but the better QBs and WRs are going to put up a lot on these guys and I think we should do better. We dont have much depth either, one injury and we are starting guys that people have barely heard of. If we dont sign anyone then the chances of drafting one are probably pretty high but thats adding a rookie to an already young group.
  24. Good to know, the safeties on there look kind of old, im not seeing many that i think are much of an upgrade but we do need depth. I think there are some corners that would be an upgrade
