I think that's the biggest thing. It's not that he needs to necessarily learn to get down more often and avoid big hits. He just needs to learn how to fall. All of his injuries have been because he fell really hard on various body parts.
Right. He just needs to learn to slide.
Instead hes initiating contact with the defense

Raimann and Leonard out

He may really get injured and not be faking.
Usually holdouts have a much higher probability of getting injured as they are out of shape.
-
JT will want to be here if he gets PAID !!!

One thing I've learned from past holdouts is once players come back they're out of shape and have a much higher probability of injury.
I think I agree with @csmoparto give him as much of the 3 weeks as possible

My guess is he practices for at least a week before being activated, maybe all 3.
I think players who have been holding out and come back too soon tend to get injured more.
I hope he's in football shape.

Ballard to Taylor

That is great news that Taylor is ending his holdout. Its the best thing for his future.
Players need to understand that you don't mess with Ballard !

What an incredible comeback and heartbreaking loss.
AR redeemed himself!!!

Our 80m dollar guard and our 100m dollar LB don't look so good

He is making exactly what he is supposed to on his ROOKIE contract. You would have a point if this was occurring next year.
Yes I will refute it. HE ISN'T DONE WITH HIS ROOKIE CONTRACT.
^^^^^^^^ This guy gets it !!!
I would also say if Taylor finishes out his rookie contract and Colts tag him next season, I will take Taylor's side in any holdout.
He fulfilled his rookie contact and if Colts don't want to give a long term deal they should let go as an UFA

I would still love to hear JT speak about the whole situation. He hasn't said anything, basically everything that has been reported/tweeted, is just rumors. People say his agent is speaking for him, all he is doing is tweeting anything to help try and get JT a nice deal done. How do we know he isn't lying about many things? Until I hear JT say, I know longer want to be a Colt, then I am not believing anything I hear or read at this point.
He is speaking

Good stuff in here.
Says he still doesn't want to play for the Colts.
Looks like he will holdout then and come back the last 6 weeks so he is a UFA next season

No he has to play by week 6(2 1/2 weeks from now), not play 6 games.
This isn't a typical Franchise Tag or player holdout.
This is PUP and there are different rules.
Not that I doubt you but he won't be on PUP anymore after next week.
Also I was just going by the Melvin Gordon holdout a few years back. I thought he was in the same situation as Taylor, last year of his contract.
But I can check again.

If that's what he really wants to do, so be it.
If he doesn't play by week 6 he won't become a FA next year. Will be on a 1yr $4.3m contract again. That would cost him even more money than he already has cost himself with his faux injury claim.
He has no cards to play, he got caught bluffing. He will be suiting up in week 5 or 6.
He'll definitely be back with 6 weeks left in the season, thats what they all do to get the year of service and be UFA next season.
Ballard needs to start playing hardball and start fining him and banning him from the Colts facilities until the hold out is over.
