    Defense is doing the job tonite, it may be the only reason we pull it out or even keep it close!

    I'm tempted to say, "Only if they get a defensive or special teams touchdown" but we tend to turn it on late in games, especially if we're climbing out of a big hole.

    It took 12 innings, but it's over in Milwaukee, 4-3 Marlins and the Padres are in the playoffs.

    It's been sunny here since Thursday. I remember when the only MLB baseball in Florida was in spring training & the minor leagues.

    I'm originally from San D but both times I've lived in Florida, it's been on the Treasure Coast.

    So far I'm 1-1 in my 3 pregame wishes: Vikings won, we lost and the Padres are playing now. A win or a Brewers loss, and they're in. Milwaukee's game started at 2 and they're trailing 2-0 in the 8th so the Pads may clinch in the early innings of their game, as soon as the Brewers/Marlins game goes final.

    I'm about 20 minutes north of WPB, on the Treasure Coast.

    Thanks, I live in southeast Florida and Ian hit on the the west side of the State, and traveled north & east and stayed hours away from me, all I got was some wind & rain from the outer bands. Here's to watching a Colts victory today, your Vikes spanking tail across the pond & my Padres hopefully clinching a Wild Card berth!

    I think McLaughlin has won the kicking job, I wouldn't put him back on the PS and risk him being poached by another team.

    True, and Lovie Smith & Doug Pederson aren't slouches either, but Frank is an offensive minded coach, gifted with a QB who may end up in Canton and one of the better running backs in the league and he's still getting his lunch eaten every week.
