I think that was the Bronco's best play today. Throw it in Sutton's general direction and wait for the flag. I'm surprised they didn't try it on the second to last possession when they needed one first down to end the game.

Agree! I was thinking the exact same thing at that moment. I guess the D stepped up at the end with just enough pressure to keep that from happening.

  2. Extra points are harder than they used to be, lots of misses this year. Missing a 45 yarder (IIRC) is not a huge failure, happens a few times every week in the NFL. Hitting clutch game-winning FGs is vastly more important. Vinny did that today and that's why he's the GOAT. He just gets it done when it has to get done.

Odd that only TY can shake loose and get open but no other receiver can.

Or perhaps it's understood by JB and the coaches that when it's TY getting even slightly open it makes more sense to throw the damn ball because he'll find a way to catch it as compared to the other (mostly rookie) receivers?

he played horrible have to call him out..... i was wanna of the biggest jb band wagoners but i am a realist out side of the texans and falcons games he looks terrible .  his tds got inflated by throwing a lot inside the 10   after the running game got the colts there.  teams in the red zone are playing the run making wide open throwing lanes .

stats do not tell the whole story of taking 10 seconds to go through progressions no anticipation throws . when he gets flushed out the pocket  he cant throw on the move to well . when pressure is coming at him he gets inaccurate .

Good call, I have the same situation and realization.

It's interesting watching both sides move closer to the center on JB. Some of we 'sunshine pumpers' are starting to see JB's limitations and, hopefully, areas for growth. Meanwhile some of the haters are starting to see he's quite serviceable and has decent upside, especially within the team/system that FR/CB have put together.

Can't look past Denver, I hope the Oakland game taught us that.

Houston looks good.  The Chiefs went out of their way to blow the game, bit the Texans look like a balanced team with a lot of weapons.

If we can’t establish a running game against them it’s going to be a long day.

    Um, ok.

My data comes from his Denver days. He won't have Tom in NE either, Reich is better,

Good point, thanks. I forgot about his Denver days. OTOH, I am not sold on Tom being that amazing, rather the product of an amazing HC/system. I realize a lot of my skepticism is my hatred for the Pats. :rawr:

Reich is 5X the coach that McDaniels is.

We'll have to wait until McD takes over the Pats before we can see how he'll do as a head coach. He may be amazing, we don't have data yet.
