I clicked no, just to mess up the 100% poll results...

The Colts will play the Texans 2 or 3 times this season. I think those games will give ample evidence on who the better team is between them.

QB, DT, OT

Got to remember that Campbell is a rookie and missed a lot of camp. He needs to get up to speed.

Time for Cain to show what he's got

give it up.... it was the correct call he lost control when he hit the ground, didn't regain control until he was out of bounds
I feel like that one could have went either way. Had it originally been called a TD, I think it would have stood.

I think JB should have really good numbers this year. He really threw 3 TDS today if they didn't rob Ebron of his TD. Played a really clean game.
I was impressed with his timing with both Cain and Funchees on those back shoulder throws. With the talent around him, he should be able to shine. Especially if the team makes an effort to get Mack going early in the game.

Brissett looked pretty good. Mack looked awesome. The D looked serviceable, just need to tighten things up. The kicker might need to be addressed, but Vinny deserves the opportunity to show if he can recover or not...even though he did cost us this one.

Time for Vinny to go

Marlon Mack is not doing us any favors. He cannot find a hole on his own. He can't see the field. I was hoping to be wrong about him this season, and I still am, but we could do so much better at RB and that is what this team needs. Take pressure off of JB. Keep the ball and keep the D on the sidelines
What game are you watching? Mack is probably the best offensive player we have

Dude needs to get his head checked out. Has to be some mental health issues going in

They "locked" Jacoby to more than this year. A "bridge" to a bigger contract if he plays well.
Oh, and you were great on Big Brother.
Yes, both those are possible, while still having the ability to drop him after this season...and I really don't get the Big Brother thing

Your theories are MIZerable.
You have been wrong thru this whole thread.
We have Jacoby locked up at a reasonable price that is easy to get out of.. We have the best (arguably) vet available for about the same time on a contract that is easy to get out of.
We can use this year to see if JB is the answer.
We can still davelop CK, draft the heir apparent, etc.
Under the curcumstances, Ballard did about as well as we could hope (at this time) I think.
Lol the post you quoted was before JB got his new contract. And still his contract is easy to move on from if he sucks this year. It's a nice gesture of the Colts, but they are not locked in to him.
Also, reading what you said, you agree with what I'm saying, so how are my views miserable?

In 1984 the Mayflower Moving Company brought the Colts to town
Well aware, it just has nothing to do with the conversation.

Wrong
There a lot of Fans around before 1995
Never said there wasn't. However, most would agree that most football fans in Indiana were fans of either the Bears, or the Bengals. When I was growing up, most local radio stations covered the bears. Even Q95 was mostly Bears. It was not until Harbaugh and that ridiculous run happened that more people in the state realized that we actually had our own football team.

Did you miss the Colts from 1984 until 1999
I became a fan around 95, like most people in Indiana...
Which happens to be about the time I really started paying attention to football, since I was 12

We are only locked in for two years. That doesn’t mean you can’t drsft a QB to sit behind him a year if things don’t work out.
I typed that, before seeing that it was a two year extension. Looks easy enough to get out of, and is not long term. I'm cool with it.

you can't give Hoyer more money then Brissett. Also what options do we have? We're not bad enough to be in the market for Tua, Fromm, or Hebert. Their going one, two, and three
I just fear we are preparing ourselves for sustained mediocrity.
Why not see what we got before locking ourselves in.
And guess it doesn't matter, since it's just been announced as done

Was SF stupid to give Jimmy G all that money. JB was a pretty high draft pick. He looks like a starting QB to me. He has a presence about him. I think he is ready. He is in a great situation.
Yes, the 9ers were extremely stupid giving that money to Jimmy G...

To me this says they have no faith in JB being the guy going forward. They secured a solid guy that can bridge the gap for a new qb to get up to speed, and be a veteran presence moving forward.

Lieutenant means placeholder. Seems fitting.

To be fair...it was a pretty stupid question.
