Wasn't trying to stir up anything.

Falcons just beat the Saints, anything can happen folks. JB isn't playing today.
Is JB not playing supposed to be a positive or a negative?

I really hate waiting for the late games. If its not a primetime game I much prefer the 1pm game times

he has been open numerous times and your boy just ignores him or throws a horrible pass
I don't think think JB ignores him intentionally, it's more likely Cain is the 3rd or 4th read so JB never gets to him in his progressions.
Edit: Cain also hasn't helped himself either and needs to drastically improve his route running.

No.
Also considering Hoyer looked better than JB I don't think you're asking the right questions

confused...why calling Kelly up would have us loose pieces to waiver wire...please indulge me ...I may be missing something
Have to make room on the roster.
So if we call Kelly up, someone has to go

you could definitely make an argument for calling Kelly up for a cuppa, the question is are they prepared to risk losing pieces to the waiver wire to make it happen.
We will have to have a healthy back up QB. So Kelly almost has to come up

It shouldn't. We all know that Hoyer is a quietly competent veteran QB2 who made a career of being an accurate short range passer. The difference is Brissett has the ceiling to be more than that. Hoyer never did, he doesn't have the arm strength for it.
Hoyer can match what brissett can do in an average game but won't come close to what Brissett can do in Brissett's best games. Brissett is the better player on the whole,
Remember, while the Steelers' D is very physical it's not very skilled, tends to be undisciplined, and when the refs don't have an extra fat stack in their pockets like they apparently had tonight, they tend to take a lot of penalties. So Hoyer isn't exactly going out there against the level of competition Brissett faced last week.
All valid points.
So how long do we give JB to learn how to go through progressions and make his reads?
And for a strong armed QB why haven't we had any big downfield completions?

Apparenrly he is Percy Harvin 2.0

Mewhort...but he definitely was on the field for us, for the first 3 years of his career

I've been steadfast in my belief that JB could develop into a top tier level QB. The fact that there was no real discernable difference in the level of QB play between him and Bryan Freaking Hoyer has changed my mind.
Hoyer goes through progressions so much faster, makes better reads and feels guys coming open better. There was a couple of sacks taken that JB would probably have got out of, but over all Hoyers play was on par or better than what we've seen this year.

Waste of a challenge, and waste of our 2nd timeout. Bad decision by Reich

Alright, everyone hop back on the JB train lol

Hoyer already looks like he's better at going through progressions. Obviously there is now no threat of a deep pass, but we haven't really been able to connect on those despite JB having a strong arm

Cain was open so that's a good sign. Hopefully JB see him next time.
Rest assured if Cain is not the first read than there is no chance JB will see him

It's going to be a long day of stacked boxes and heavy blitzes. Hopefully JB is ready

it’s not the receivers... JB is missing reads and reich is calling everything that favors the Run even his pass concepts
I agree, I don't think the issue is the receivers. The QB can't go through progressions quick enough and doesn't have the experience to anticipate throws, meaning he has to wait til people are obviously open.
The good side of that is that the team has proven it can win despite that, and JB obviously has the arm talent to get it done

Circumstances. Missed kicks in one and down 14 before we can even blink
I'm just saying, beat two good teams and lose to two terrible teams, it seems that being ranked right in the middle of the league seems about right .

Im sure reich will. Something like we're the second seeded team in the conference, beaten teams people think are better then us and they still dont respect us
But again, we've lost to two terrible teams...

Interesting. Ranked behind two teams the Colts beat.
Ranked behind two teams that the colts have beat, but the two losses are against teams that belong in a dumpster.

Ask T.Y.! Worst numbers of his career thus far.Of course Hilton's numbers are down. Every opponent knows he is the only receiving weapon, blanket him and there's no other options.
Does not help that the QB is not very good at going through progressions and seems to be incapable of throwing his receivers open.

He's a rookie. Rookies typically have up and down games. He's been doing alright so far, but yeah he was terrible today.

LOL Love the description of "less than sober". I guess thats an advantage of the later games, more time to get to the less than sober state of mind
