Our defense is getting older outside the secondary. Blackmon had 4 int last season.

I just realized without Blackmon colts don’t have any playmakers that can cause interceptions on defense. We need more playmaking from the defense.

Ballard specifically said we wrrr lucky that we had healthy WR all year because he said he didn’t do enough. So I think he will look to add one.

When the secondary is no good that’s what happens.

Adding an explosive WR in the first just addd to the offense and will make them better. I don’t think it matters who is starting. He traded a future 3rd to get cross.

This had been debated even on local macOS podcast that could simply mean getting Richardson back. They do need to get Mott explosive in the recovery but have yet to show they will. Gus was not very complimentary of Thomas all year. Ballard said free safety needs to get better. I don’t think they like their safeties at all.

Listening to the local media podcast thiis last couple weeks I think the questions about secondary are coming. If not this week it will be asked in his pre draft presser. Boyd already said he has his questions ready because it’s not acceptable what he is doing right now.

I don’t think it’s a sure thing Anthony is going to come out and have rookie struggles. He sat and got to learn a lot last year. He doesn’t seem to make bad decisions and throw int. I think we need to put to bed that he only played 13 college games so he will struggle. He clearly didn’t even in the small sample. Maybe a little in the first half against rams. I will even admit I was totally wrong about him not being ready.

one good thing whichever side of the ball they go with that first pick they should be able to get a elite player. Offensive player will always have a better chance to make an immediate impact over a defensive guy. If the corner worked out we could have our lock down corner for years. Ballard did say colts were lucky they didn’t have WR injuries because he said he should have find more there.

If Colts are planning to go offense in the first round I imagine they will trade back a little and still be able to get a elite weapon plus pick up another draft pick.

Without watching college football is Mitchell really that good. He played football at Toledo. Seems like that could be a huge learning curve jumping to the nfl.

What I have been hearing from local media they are going to ask him about this secondary and hit him hard. Outside holder the others have been hitting him bad in their podcasts about failing to fix it.

I thought Flowers tore his Achilles week 2. It was actually week 5 which probably means he won’t be returning until Oct or Nov.

They need a FS more than a SS. Adding a vet at FS I think in an justify letting cross start at SS.
