You have 3 to 4 years on a rookie QB contract to really go for a SB. Richardson already lost one to injury. The second is about to be lost because Ballard has failed the secondary. That takes us very close to year 3 already. Just wasting time.

We don’t have enough money to sign Simmons. Ballard thinks having 50 million wrapped up in DT is good. Or overpaying a linebacker. He doesn’t jundrrstand premium positions.

Colts are spending around 60 million on DT if they extend Buckner. That’s not a winning formula.

anyone have any info on the success rate of first round CB. I knkw some will get pushed down to us this year. I thought I heard someone say last years draft netted a rookie CB making the pro bowl. I will have to go back and look at past drafts.

I am more concerned with Brent’s injury history and Flowers returning by game one then I am with their actual play on the field. I think Flowers got hurt game two so bid possibility he isn’t ready in Sept. plus he won’t have that explosiveness back right away. I think the safety play last year is what killed us. Outside of Blackmon cross and Thomas were not good. Then it was really bad last two games after Blackmon got hurt. If Ballard does nothing else he needs to find a FS.

If Brent’s and Flowers had played all season last year we would have a much better idea of what this seckvssty could look like. I would feel much more comfortable had they played welll and stayed healthy.

If Ballard is thinking like this he is dumber then we thought.

Or it could end up being the colts defense couldn’t stop anyone. They played scrubs last season and still were 30th in the league in points allowed. I will say this about the points allowed because it does put it into slight perspective. Gardner had a big stretch there where he was turning it over which did not help the defense.

A offensive weapon will have much more of an impact right away than a CB most likely too. There will be a run on WR so you’re probably not getting an elite one at 46 while they would at 15. If Brent’s had t continued his college injuries and played all year and Dallid hadn’t gotten hurt I would feel a lot better going into the ssskb with them as starters. I just don’t see how they can’t add a vet with all these concerns in that room. Adding a rookie to that mix seems crazy. Especially if your counting on them to start.

What makes me more ticked is we aren’t going to be able to get that elite waskin for AR at 15. There are going to be so many there. I really am not mad about not getting sneed. Going CB in first round gives us not one proven CB. You can’t count on a first round rookie CB having an impact.

Drafting a CB at 15 with the unproven CB room iwith out a vet is dumb. That 15th pick should be used to get AR an elite weapon. Instead we are going yo have yo use it on someone who is probably not going to be ready to play. Offensive weapons are much more ready to play than defensive ones.

Being forced to take a corner at 15 after taking 3 of them last year in the draft is such a joke. That 15th pick should be for an explosive offensive weapon.

It’s a joke when local media starts pushing the story from Ballard about how they had to spend so much to keep their own. This organization is a train wreck.

You don’t need to play that much. Then sign Davis to be the starter and let Stewart go. You can’t pay everyone. Roster building has to start with paying for premium positions. Ballards roster building is flawed.
