  1. Would love Herbert or Tua(under assumption Burroe is not an option)

Would take either at 13. Even trade up a little.

I think their would be more pressure on organization to start Herbert day 1, where as this is almost perfect location for Tua. Tua could red shirt all year if need be(hopefully not), JB could hold it down until he is ready. No pressure for him to rush back, or for organization to rush him on field. JB could start all year as far as I'm concerned, as long as I know Tua is in the waiting.

Not overly concerned about Tua's injury. It will probably affect his mobility a little? His arm will be just fine.

  2. Spoiler:

Just because the Colts might not trade for Foles and pick, doesn't mean another team won't.

Bottomline is if Jacksonville will trade Foles and pick to us it is a no brainer.

    1. We have the money to absorb the contract, whether we keep him or not.  So he can be released with a cap hit, and we still get high draft pick.

    2. He knows the offense, could be our backup if we decide to keep or start the beginning of season if his replacement isn't ready.(Hopefully rookie)

    3. Gives us the option to pick up additional draft capital if we decide to keep him. Then we could get something for JB.

    4. Could let JB and Foles compete for job, and draft someone in 2021.

    5. Most obvious reason, a high 2nd or 3rd round pick. Add to our draft capital with a valuable pick. More ammo to trade up if need be. Could even try and make it a 2021 2nd round pick instead of this year, if this was the plan.

Too many reason to do it if possible.

How you feel he will perform is irrelevant, if he gives us anything it will just make it a more lopsided trade in our favor than it already is.

And actually zero reasons not to for us.

Definitely not because you think they will have to let Ynanuke(sp?) go.

Someone else will make the deal, or they will clear money some other way. They have already announced he is their #1 priority this off season.

  3. We have stronger SOS than:

    NYJ(11th pick)

    Dal

    Phi

    Pit

    Ten

    Oak

Dallas or Philly will win division and have pick #21/22.

    Pit/Ten/Oak - 1 of them will pick #21/22

If we end up with the same record of any of those teams they will slot in front of us.

If we lose and Denver wins I think we pick #13? Maybe #12, will be real close with Oakland on SoS at that point.

So anywhere feom #12-#18 is in the cards.

    #19-CHI

    #20-LAR

how far do we fall with a win? I don't see us losing to this trash Jags team sadly

If we win I believe we will slot in at #18, no lower.

The consensus 3-star recruit is listed at No. 10 among dual-threat recruits in this class, according to 247Sports' composite rankings.

He was actually a 4 star recruit and #8 Dual threat according to your 247sports rankings.

    https://247sports.com/Season/2015-Football/CompositeRecruitRankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&Position=DUAL

3 QB's in front of him are already in NFL(Murray, Stidham and Darnold)

    2 became WR's

Bottomline is he will be #1 pick, despite how many people you try to convince we shouldn't trade picks for him.

It doesn't even matter anyway, not an option for us. Which is unfortunate.
