I think one thing we are seeing from the AFCs is a group of teams that have overachieved and still learning to win. I don’t know what the heck happened to jags though.

Their O line quite running blocking is a main thing look at Etienne's numbers early compared to now it is night and day. Christian Kirk is also on I.R. and Ridley's big games were when teams had to worry about Kirk as well. They are broke, no quick fix they just have to play the season out and hope.

I really don't know how to feel right now because we played a poor game but didn't lose any ground to anyone regarding making the playoffs. Cincy, Houston, and Jacks all losing really erases our loss, but I hate losing and we should beat teams like the Falcons. We have won at Houston, at Baltimore, vs Bucs, and vs Steelers so that alone shows me we should be a playoff team, but today left me with an odd feeling to say the least. I guess it is poetic justice that everything comes down to the final 2 weeks for all these teams. This maybe the oddest season I have seen since watching football dating back to 1977 because of the QB injuries and parity.

We played bad in multiple areas, having no Pittman as a reliable outlet showed when Minshew had so little time to set and pass. We need Smith back like yesterday. Granosn looked the best he has in a long time.

The same 'fans' in here bashing Freeland were the same ones bashing Raimann last year. Freeland is learning on the fly just like Raimann last year and will be just fine with some more strength and conditioning work.

Witt, cut from the same cloth as Raimann and Freeland has been sitting on the IR all year for his redshirt season doing the same - strength and conditioning, practice reps and film work.

The starting 5 are fine, injuries aside, and the line is a top 5 line in the league and will likely stay that way. Depth is needed on the interior.

I'm one of Raimann's biggest fans so a bit biased but dont see Freeland showing what Bernhard did at this point. With Raimann it was apparent he was a long time starter and future Pro Bowler (I think he makes it this year worst case scenario next).  Doesnt mean Freeland cant progress into a solid starter but not ready to release Smith and roll with him as of yet.

I am curious what Josh Sills can bring to the unit, was very good in college and strong upper body but sure wouldnt mind a vet interior signed in offseason to reinforce depth and push.

  4. I would guess they promote Chris lammons who is a slot corner who is more a special teams ace much like Brown.  No idea why Darren Hall hasnt been elevated all season even for a quick look.  If we have to elevate a WR for a week for Pittman would guess Tyrie Cleveland gets the nod over Ehan Fernea, bigger size and actual game experience. Montgomery settled down after his td drop.

I agree cornerback is a priority, but if Franklin and Speed are so good, and Harrison has played well in a smaller role, not sure I see linebacker being a huge need when we just play two most of the time.

Harrison should be a FAST linebacker coming from Safety spot and has already payed dividends with that speed. Speed has improved every year. We need depth behind those 2 though. Franklin just a blue collar  solid player, salary wont be high which allows it to be spent elsewhere.
