  1. Watching the just released season which has Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young and Deuce Hogan all as hs seniors. Dont remember it being discussed before if so I missed it. First game AR suffers an shoulder injury to his throwing arm, same injury he suffered this season just a lesser grade. Runs 10 eps of 30 minutes each. If this already has a thread feel free to merge,

Yeah but they should have an open active roster spot.

Those 2 are just PS elevations for the game.

Hoping Woods is potentially ready, get him a couple weeks of practice before potential playoffs.

Should maybe know something at 4pm. Unless the wait to fill it till next week, since it's so late this week.

Fernea is out of call ups after this so if they plan to use him next week he will need to be put into this spot after tomorrows game. We have no back up slot so this may be the route unless they want to see tomorrow and if dont like the final look they elevate Jaydon Mickens instead.

  3. From a team perspective as far as talent Ogletree was promising and showed glimpses but hadnt done a lot with it. Only played 356 snaps (Granson-420, MAC-365,mallory-148) his snaps likely go to Mallory who has seen a big upticks last 4 weeks and has been very well. A lot of squads carry 3 TE so this will bring us back down to 3 and we likely see a plyer from another position elevated as opposed to our PS Tight End Jordan Murray (Could even be Juwann Winfree as we need WR depth and he has already used his max p.s. elevation.

Next season hoping Woods rebounds but we just dont know. Granson will see his same role, Mallory likely becomes TE 1 (As was stated him and Granson are kinda similar as neither is a physical blocking TE,Mallory has better height and catching radius) and a vet is probably added (Adam Trautman type)  if MAC is send packing.

Heath Shuler, Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, David Klingler, Mike Pagel were all lovely Dance Dancing GIF by Soul Train

Pagel was drafted to be a back up though and beat out Art (8-1 odds that would happen...lol) who was 1st round pick. I liked Mike he was not good but did give his all and spent time in the film room...

This is why you don’t count on teams like jags having a chance to win against titans in week 18. Teams are ready for vacation when they have nothing to play for.

Sometimes but depends on many factors...interim coach trying to secure a gig. QB trying to prove he belongs in the league, does team actually have young talent or not ? Panthers playing well and mark many boxes...Jets not so much.

My dad just corrected me that the worst QB of all time in his opinion was Akili Smith of the Bengals.

I’ve gotta say watching lowlights of Painter… sheesh he was so dang bad. Could be worst of all time if it weren’t for Leaf screwing up so badly…

    Peterman… also bad… Leinart… really bad…

When you are drafted high like Smith and Leaf you wreck a franchise for years...Painter and Simien and Peteramn dont cost you much ...accept PRIDE.....theres always that....as many warts at Minshew has for a #2 we are very fortunate really.

Gosh no. Siemian is one of the worst QBs I have seen play in the NFL. He played for the Vikings in a backup role. He is worse than Christian Ponder.

Curtis Painter may have been better than Siemian.

In what world is Painter even close to Trevor ? Certainly not this version of Earth maybe an alternate reality...lol...

Yeah but I am guessing most of that is water weight which is great if you need to make a weight.  He’d need to lose muscle mass to get down to the weight needed.  I know you know the difference just clarifying before someone really thinks it’s possible.

    100% correct, pure water weight

Yeah you don’t just lose 20 pounds over night.  They could play a little more 4-3 if they wanted though with Harrison to pick ip some of the slack.

I lost 12 lbs in 8 hours (130 to 118 for college wrestling) but thats a story for a different time...lol

Its a bad situation no doubt, but I would think we can get by with the safeties we currently have to win a game or two. Can't afford another injury at the position though. Is Trevor Denbow still a member of the team?

    Denbow is an option
