I agree but all of our receivers are under used.
True that

That was a great catch but he is not very reliable hands-wise
Show me his drop numbers & catch percentage compared to our other receivers.

There’s my guy Campbell again. Like I said before, Pittman is only WR1 because he gets the targets. Campbell is criminally underused. Could be our WR1 with better production if given Pitt’s targets. But I’d be happy if got consistent WR2 targets.

Stop, this is not MaddenIf we end up stuck at 5 and are dead set on a certain QB, I think the Bears would be the prime candidate we’d be looking to trade up with. Flus would love to get reunited with a few of his old players that can come in and help spread his philosophy.
The Fields stuff is definitely Madden but Bears do have a new GM & HC who didn’t draft Fields. Who’s to say they won’t say “we can trade Fields for a 1st and still draft whoever is there between Young, Stroud, or Levis with pick 2”? In that scenario I’d trade for Fields and pair him with Taylor.

Oh my. So what player would the Saints want as they are rebuilding? They would want a 1st and probably our top 5 pick. We are not getting Sean. We will bring back lame duck Ballard. Insert garbage coach for a year and picking top 3 in 2024.
In that case, my plan B is to get Ryan Day and either trade for Fields or draft Stroud. Then go get Harrison Jr with that top 3 pick in 2024. If it was giving the Saints a player or two, I’d give up Kelly, Leonard, or maybe even Q. Same deal to trade for Fields if Bears are looking to go a different direction at QB.

So hard to judge when you have much more talent around you then opponent , top wr,rb , O line..many can excel when tilted so much in their favor.
That’s what they say but you’d find out that many actually can’t excel. There’s levels to it. Young’s receivers have been sub par. He’s really had to step up and carry a disjointed Alabama offense this year. Good to see him have to grind out wins and not just steamroll most opponents.

…with who at QB??Young, Stroud, & maybe Levis. I think he would’ve schemed things up better and gotten more out of Wentz, Ryan, and Foles too. He’s a much better offensive minded coach than Frank or Parks.

Those weapons are???
Sean Payton would get great production out of Pittman, Pierce, Campbell, Woods, Granson, and Taylor.

We would have to trade for Payton.
They might do it for a player and a pick. Player could be a way to shed some salary.

So ant to put a 190 pound qb behind this line with no weapons???
We have weapons. We don’t have an offensive mind that knows how to utilize them properly by exploiting mismatches.

Defense getting tired
That’s been an ongoing trend. Our offense has regressed.

I want Young, but I doubt we’ll get that
Me too. Especially to pair with Sean Payton. That would be like Drew Brees 2.0 playing here in the dome. I think he could do it with Stroud too but Young’s anticipation and ability to hang in and make dime throws is extraordinary.

Foles got ZERO leg push on that. He took the snap and just stood still. Wow.

How about a true 1 at receiver.
Are there any coming out this year? I want Harrison Jr. That’s why I would take Stroud. His accuracy on the back shoulder boundary throws is amazing. Pierce would get a lot of jump ball opportunities. Then get Harrison next year like Bengals did with Burrow & Chase.

Imagine this D with Will Anderson Jr
Who you like at QB? Maybe Hooker in the 2nd or 3rd?

Ballard, if he’s still around, needs the right head coach who can help him with drafting the right QB. I think he could work with either Harbaugh or Payton.

Stroud chokes at any sign of trouble huge red flag, you couldnt get me to drink coffee with mayo, mustard, creamer anything that sh#t is terrible......lol
You can’t take Stroud’s 2 or 3 worst games and say that’s his standard and ignore all of his great games. Then do the opposite and ignore all of Levis’ bad games and only highlight his “traits”. Stroud is about to be put to the toughest test on the biggest stage. How he does could prove critical to where he gets drafted. I’m intrigued to see if he’s got the moxie Fields & Lawrence showed a few years ago.

Foles picked the wrong guy to throw to . Should have hit the under guy
He should have gone to Pittman up the sideline in that hole in the cover 2.

No I think we are set on Will Levis and he likely goes 4-7 so we are within his range no matter how it plays out. Stroud will never be a top QB,Richardson needs to sit a year and Young will be gone before we can get him.
Stroud is gonna have a chance to prove himself in the semifinals against Georgia. I’m still not sold on Levis. Can’t trust the decision making of a guy who puts mayo in his coffee. Lol.

At the very least, Sam is getting the Texans start at the end of the season.

Ashton Dulin. Welcome to the world of Parris Campbell. Wentz got him 3 or 4 of those kinds of hits last season.

people can mock ballard but if we had a real QB we are a contender
I’d say playoff team with a real QB “or” a real coach (especially this season). If we had a real coach “and” a real QB we’d be contenders.

I don’t know if Pierce will ever be able to get open consistently enough to be our #1. I do think he’s gonna be our big play guy though. Which will eventually open up the underneath stuff for him. Regardless, he’s gonna have those explosive moments. Big Play Pierce is no joke at high pointing that ball. Yet we give him no red zone chances.
