As a wrestling and IndyCar fan I have to say I love Peacock and it’s also one of the cheaper streaming services out there.  I’ve found it great value for the money.

I'm just not interested in trying to chase the NFL plan of trying to squeeze more money out of us.

I was a diehard IU fan growing up since the late 70's- 2000 when Bobby Knight was there. I vaguely remember their undefeated season in 1976, I was only 4 years old when that happened. I remember the 1981 Championship like it was yesterday, and of course the 1987 Championship. Back then, IU fans hated Purdue. We treated it like a huge rivalry. With me it is different today though. If IU isn't any good, I root for Purdue. I hope Purdue wins it all being an Indiana school.

I remember the 1975 season too.   Undefeated and then lost in the tournament.   I was crushed.   Then followed it up in 1976 going undefeated to the championship.   It was really amazing.

He farted in a crowded room and walked out. And that's his pattern.

Doesn't everyone do that?  It's my favorite move!

But seriously,  I decided to rewatch all of ARs games again and my opinion hasn't changed.   He really has some skills.  I'm excited to see what he can do this year and I hope a second training camp really helps him since he missed most of his rookie season.

Having JT back there will be huge.  Two serious running threats.   And I  think all of the receivers we have would be enough.

He needs to improve his decision making and passing accuracy,  but I can say that about 20 starters in this league.   It's a high bar.

And I  am concerned about too many hits and injuries.

Should be fun to watch and I hope Flacco never has to play.

Love it! Yes mountains are my favorite geographical feature as well.

Now growing up in Indiana I enjoyed going to Turkey Run, Clifty Falls, fishing on the Wabash and the strip pits in the SW of the state.  But I always felt there should be more.  More wilderness to explore.   That's why I love it out West.

It looks like Delaware is between 6-8 depending upon the metrics used. Indiana was either 7 or 10 in the lists I found. Florida is always #1. Illinois is always #2.

This conversation,  although not on topic, is giving me a good laugh.   I  left Indy when I was 19 and don't get back much.  After leaving I just knew I wouldn't move back - the country is just too big!  I do prefer the mountains.  Currently live in Spokane and went fly fishing the last 2 weeks.  On the Coeur d'alene River in Northern Idaho and in the Yakima River canyon.

Alec Pierce - 73 receptions, 1107 yards first two seasons

Donte Moncrief - 96 receptions, 1177 yards first two seasons

Zach Pascal - 68 receptions, 875 yards first two seasons

Why are people always saying Pierce may develop like Reggie Wayne but don't say he may develop like Donte Moncrief or Zach Pascal? 😆

Seems to me that is the exact argument.   Some say he will bust, others say he will break out.

I say nobody really knows anything.   Lots of opinions but as in most things in life we will have to wait and see.

So wonderful, my company is based out of Dallas and every year they brag how good their team is incredible regular seasons, but it’s always hilarious when they flame out in the playoffs like they always do. It’s so comical I think uncle Bill will be the coach next year in Dallas McCarthy will get the boots soon and I mean soon

You think Bill would go to a team where the owner isn't likely to give him total control?

I was really bummed ate first. Seeing all the quarterback injuries this year has made it a ot easier to take.

I don't feel that way at all.  I am interested in the development of AR.  Other QBs being injured make no difference.  I do understand seeing this as a "glass half full" situation where he has a chance to learn from the bench, but he is also rehabbing which just isn't the best situation.   He needs time on the field,  whether in practice or games, to really grow.

Pickens appears to be the guy that someone invented the phrase….

“Million dollar talent.  10 cent head.”

Pickens not only failed to block for his teammate for fear of getting hurt, afterwards, he freely admitted it!  Didn’t seem to understand what the big deal was.

Supremely talented.   But a strange mind.

    Sure seems to be.
I can’t think of any other year where we’ve had this many starting QBs taken out by injury and a lot of their backups injured.

Me neither.   Wondering if anyone would take the time to compile some data.  Just seems like this year is very different.

So based on the answers the defender in the NFL is now supposed to let receivers catch the ball.  Due to Pittman diving and Minshew’s ball placement there was literally no way to hit him low and there was no way for the defender to intercept the ball.

    Actually, based on current rules.

They should have sat him for year one.  For multiple reasons but chiefly among them this is a big boy league and his best trait is something that will get him hurt.  Coaches will use that best trait plain and simple, because they want to win games or their own standing is at risk.  And if you look at the shelf life of RBs you can see a guy who runs too much has a good chance to not last very long.

When you draft a QB high you want that player to be your cornerstone.  So the best play would have been to sit him year one and make him run the scout team and string together drives with minimal running.  During that first year he learns the offense and works on running to buy time in the backfield and keeping his eyes downfield.  As the season goes on if he reaches the point where he can't be stopped in practice then you know you got your guy like the Chiefs did with Mahomes.  That would have been ideal for this player I think.  Because he has to work on his accuracy too, which is very difficult to fix at this level.

So this could end up being a blessing in disguise from that perspective of him getting the time he needs to fully master the offense.  If they decide to sit him then the coach has to solve his issues without running the rook into the teeth of defenders like a round 6 running back.

Seems like we need to decide if we want a long term QB or a short term RB.  I am fine with an athletic qb that can run at times.  But even Hurts is protecting himself more now.
