Really?????  I saw quite a lot of the WRs not getting open under 20 yards.  Reason Luck got hurt was because had to run because WRs couldn't get open.

Just because a WR runs a sub 4.4 doesn't mean he can get open underneath.  Precise routes gets a WR open underneath.

How long have you been watching the Colts? Last year when Luck went down we had to use short routes due to Hasselbeck's arm not being nearly as powerful as Luck. If I remember correctly, the three got open quite a bit, moving the chains better than we did on the deep ball with Luck in.

not really, if for no other reason than his contract

we would take a dead cap hit of 8 million, and still have to find a lt, one of the hardest positions to fill

I spoke about that later in my post...

  3. To be blunt, he is cuttable. He hasn't quite performed up to par since we signed him to a deal last year. I recently ranked all starting left tackles in the league and Castonzo was at 18/32. Not good for big money. Am I saying we should cut him? No, of course not. The repercussions of that would be huge (Dead money), and he's still a better option than anyone currently on the market. If we end up with a better option in a few years (and if he hasn't proven he's worth nearly $11,000,000 a year since) when he's set to become a free agent, I see no need to keep him.

  4. LT - Average - Castonzo got paid the big bucks last season to be Luck's rock on the line. He hasn't performed quite up to par since. Rank Among Starting LT's: 18/32

LG - Above Average - Mewhort really broke out last season, grading very well in the passing department while also up there in run blocking. Rank Among Starting LG's: 10/32

C - TBD - I would predict that Kelly will be above average. Predicted Rank Next Season Among Starters: 8/32

RG - Below Average - Wether Good or Thornton starts, the position will be below average. Rank Among Starting RG's: 20/32

RT - Average - Reitz isn't the best, but he isn't the worst. He is the epitome of Average on the Colt's O-line. Rank Among Starting RT's: 16/32

  5. 10 Team League

    QB - Carson Palmer

RB - Adrian Peterson, Todd Gurley, Frank Gore, Giovani Bernard, Legarette Blount

WR - AJ Green, Brandon Marshall, TY Hilton, Donte Moncrief, Laquon Treadwell, Tyler Lockett, Josh Gordon

    TE - Jason Witten

    D/ST - Bengals

    K - Adam Vinatieri

Got traded AJ Green for a couple bench guys. This was an early draft and a lot of the draft slots have changed since. Currently have 5 players going in the top 30.

I met Joey and his Dad this year at the Draft. I talked with them before the Draft and then after the draft. They were excited to be in San Diego.

In my opinion I thought Joey and his father came across as snobbish and entitled.  I expect Joey's career to mimic his dad's and is the reason for the way they want the money paid out.

While I agree on the snobbish part, I don't feel like that's the reason they want the money up front. John Bosa left the league after 3 years because of two career ending injuries. I doubt Joey wants to get injured and leave the league like his father before him. I think his father wants him to have the money up front because of the way he left the league. If Bosa gets Injured like his father, he want's to have the money already paid up front. I fully expect Bosa to have a great career, but his father is just watching out for him, not wanting Joey to follow in his footsteps.

sorry, I just wanted to see what "will not be tolerated" meant.

to answer you question.....not a chance in hell.

Idk. It sounds good though! It's really just trying to prevent some of the back and forth arguments in my past posts! It was annoying having a comment every other time that included hate! Hope this answers your question!!

Here are my top 3 CFB players to watch this season.

    1) Leonard Fournette, LSU, RB

I love Leonard. I have since I first saw his High School Highlight Reel. The kid is something special. He had an amazing year last season. I believe this year he will do even better. Yes, better. How could he be better than he is? I don't know, but watch out. Don't be surprised if he breaks Barry Sanders record of 2628 rushing yards and breaks 30 touchdowns. This kid may have a high floor, but I don't think he's even come close to his ceiling yet.

    2) Kavontae Turpin, TCU, WR/KR/HB

Yes, I have him labelled as a HB as well. You may be thinking "He's to small", but just look at LA Rams WR/RB Tavon Austin. He's only a tad bit bigger, yet he torches defenses from the backfield. I envision Turpin as a smaller, more elusive Austin. This kid is dangerous with the ball. Now that he's out from behind the shadow of Josh Doctson. He will be a top target on the team and will end up torching everyone. EVERYONE....

    3) Deshaun Watson, Clemson, QB

How can you create a list like this and leave out the electric Watson. He may not get better this year, but that's only because it's pretty hard to do better than he did last season. The kid can throw dots and run like a track star. He gets it done no matter how it has to happen. I'm going to put the Heisman trophy between these Fournette and Watson at the moment. It may change later in the year, but these are consistently the top two options on EVERYONE'S Heisman Watch boards.

Needless to say, I'm excited to watch this season of CFB!!! Let me know who you like in the comments. Thanks for the read!!

I am going to assume you all know how well Dak Prescott has been doing so far this preseason (22-27, 338 yds, 6 total TDs). The kid is a beast, with more TDs (6) than Incompletions (5). His QBR so far (156.4) is just 1.9 points shy of perfect (158.3). With Romo back in the fold, we should all assume he will get the starting gig back. But with the way Dak has performed so far, if Romo starts to slide, it's very reasonable to see Dak starting later in the year! What do you think?
