Now that the Jags drafted Thomas I think we are the prime team to trade for Aiyuk tomorrow. The receivers left won’t make a big impact for the Colts as a rookie this year. Trading for Aiyuk would supplant Pierce as our starter.

I said it in the other thread I thought we would draft defense tonight. I thought Turner. Wrong player. And I thought we would trade for Aiyuk on Friday. I still think it’s going to happen. Extending Buckner was for cap flexibility. I think he gets AR a weapon.

I would not rule this out. Irsay might have a great long term relationship with the Cardinals owner which could help facilitate a trade. Ballard traded a future 1st for Wentz so he’s not afraid to deal future picks. He just might pull it off.
